SlickyTrickyDamon 05-11-2018 12:50 PM

who is you?

SlickyTrickyDamon 05-11-2018 06:50 PM

I forgot who I put for all of these things. Hope I didn't suck.

Savio 05-12-2018 07:50 AM

I think wrong answers should be plus 1 on the highest answer... theoretically one person can pick all right answers and then everyone else could pick wrong answers and then everyone would be tied

SlickyTrickyDamon 05-12-2018 12:46 PM

Nah it's called thinking differently. Rather be wrong taking a chance than going safe with an easy answer.

Bad News Gertner 05-12-2018 07:40 PM

Woooooo I want results!

I treated it as wcw, from when they suceeded from the NWA and way after jcp.

Wheres the results? I know I missed the last one. Never saw that movie so I guessed the king of the Jews but he wasn't in it.

Good point.

I second this. Wrong answers should hurt more.

Shisen Kopf 05-12-2018 11:40 PM

You lose a toe for each wrong answer is the only fair thing to do

Evil Vito 05-13-2018 01:09 AM

Top 3 Most Frequently Guessed Answers
1(t). Flock Member: Sick Boy, 7
1(t). Natural Born Thrillers Member: Mike Sanders, 7
1(t). Jumped from WCW to WWF: Perry Saturn, 7

NOTES FROM THE OFFICIAL SCORER:

Probably the most straightforward game to score to date. I only needed to research the WWF to WCW defections and vice versa. If you jumped straight from one company to another, it counted. If you stopped at ECW in between or had a prolonged break, I didn't count it.

Commentary also required a slight amount of research but not much. Ferrara commentated Dr. Death's matches for week under the Oklahoma gimmick for several months, and Nash popped in on commentary plenty.

All of the Natural Born Thrillers got a vote. Poor Horace and Riggs got no love from the Flock.

I did end up making wrong answers be the most frequently guessed response + 1. Wrong answers were backbreaking for a few of these questions, but none of them would've impacted the lowest scores list.

SlickyTrickyDamon 05-13-2018 01:19 AM

I knew the Flock would fuck me out of winning. I was going to say the original King of Swing DANCIN' Stevie Richards but I think it was before the Flock was announced officially as a group.

Sixx 05-13-2018 01:45 AM

Holy shit, I did pretty good.

Even got 2 lone answers!

Vastardikai 05-13-2018 03:30 AM

A couple of notes:

1. Brian Pillman did hold multiple tag titles: 1 United States Tag Team Title Reign with Tom Zenk, and the run with the Blondes. You didn't specify which tag title.

2. Kevin Sullivan was on the 1989 WCW commentary team, most notably calling Cactus Jack's first WCW match. I thought he had done more than 10.

Bad News Gertner 05-13-2018 06:46 AM

Woooooo Gertner rules!

Maluco 05-13-2018 09:54 AM

Getting better at this! Just copied and pasted Rhodes into World champ column by accident. Might have cost me a top 5 space. Shouldn't have done this when I wasn't fully awake!

Fucking cheater! You're in STD territory now. Shame on both of you!

Jordan 05-13-2018 01:24 PM

Vito I don't understand why you marked Eric Watts incorrect in regard from jumping from WWF to WCW. He did just that with no major job in between.

Jordan 05-13-2018 01:26 PM

He wrestled as Techno Team 2000 in WWF around 95/96 and I just watched a Thunder from 98 and he was on it. Also looked it up on Wiki.

Bad News Gertner 05-13-2018 01:45 PM

Lol that's 2 years in between

Top 5 finally. Freaking jump to WWF killed me. My initial pick was Eddie, but I figured out of the Radicalz Saturn would be the biggest afterthought lol. And of course nobody actually picked Eddie smh

SlickyTrickyDamon 05-13-2018 09:23 PM

Poor Terry Taylor. Cockledoodledoo

Jordan X's answer of Maxx Payne jumping from WCW to WWF should be correct shouldn't it? He went from being Maxx Payne in WCW to Man Mountain Rock in the WWF without a month or so.

Yes, you with your Google answers. We are unable to compete.

SlickyTrickyDamon 05-13-2018 09:38 PM

There was a noticeable gap. Fired in 1994 and WWF in 1995.

Bad News Gertner 05-13-2018 09:42 PM

Just checked wrestlingdata. Wow, I totally though he wrestled into late 1994.

As always, can't wait for the next round!

Savio 05-13-2018 10:07 PM

Qs

I was apparently too late to actually participate, but I felt like it would be a fun excercise. My answers are here for shits and/or giggles.
SPOILER: show

1) Lex "That's just unabashed arrogance!" Lugar
2) Kid Romeo - though, I'm not sure I'm right. I *think* they brought back the TV title when they had a shit-ton of belts, and I think he had that and the Cruiserweight and the Cruserweight tag. Just not at the same time.
3) "Sick Boy"
4) Stevie Ray
5) Mark Madden
6) Booker T.
7) Mike Sanders
8) Fake Sting
9) Meng/Haku (near the end. I think it was more of a "fuck you" to a dying WCW than anything neccessary for long-term plans)
10) DDP

Loose Cannon 05-14-2018 09:59 AM

ok my experiment got me a much better score this time, but still not close. I just chose all the obvious ones thinking they would be avoided. i wanted to see how well that did.

Innovator 05-14-2018 10:08 AM

I was about to put a curse on you and your house but it turns out Public Enemy did a couple ECW spots before going to WWF.

Bad News Gertner 05-15-2018 09:04 AM
