Don't remember it looking that weird before but then again barely paid attention from how boring his story related stuff has mostly been these past few months.

I think it looks like it’s held together by Velcro because it is held together by Velcro. His gear looked awful on this show.

Like breaking up Mandy Rose and Sonia Deville only for Mandy to end up back in a tag team with Dana Brooke.

Or breaking up The IIconics only for Peyton Royce to end up back in a team.

Or The Riott Squad breaking up for Liv’s single push only to end up back together.

With how bad the patch stood out on his mask, thought for a moment there was going to be a big surprise moment either during or after his match where he reveals that his eye has healed up enough that he can see from it again and back to his former mask look. Wouldn't have made that much sense given the nature of his injury but then again WWE logic rarely does had they gone ahead with it.

Though both men came up short, Adonis continued to turn heads while Nese fell victim to Stallion’s victory-clinching reverse Spanish Fly from the top rope.

The Premier Athlete will look to bounce back by turning aside the young upstart, and Nese’s confidant, Ariya Daivari, will join Vic Joseph and Nigel McGuinness on commentary. Nese and Daivari’s plot for Ever-Rise and The Bollywood Boyz to help one of them emerge victorious from last week’s 5-Way proved unsuccessful, and along with it Nese and Daivari’s promise to grant them future title opportunities. Instead, the two teams will return their focus to tag team competition as Chase Parker & Matt Martel battle Sunil & Samir Singh.

How much will Smackdown beat Dynamite by this week?

Emperor Smeat 11-20-2020 08:15 PM

This opening talkie segment just keeps going on and on and might be the longest one in recent times for the Blue Brand.

Emperor Smeat 11-20-2020 08:37 PM

WWE got extra lazy with the team booking stuff for this year's Survivor Series build.

First it was both the RAW Men's and RAW Women's teams were dysfunctional and full of hatred for each other and now the same was sort of done with both teams in this 8-man Tag Champs vs. Zayn, Corbin, Ziggy, & Roode team.

The 8-man tag match itself was pretty good though.

Emperor Smeat 11-20-2020 08:40 PM

Bryan's new hair cut looks pretty good.

Emperor Smeat 11-20-2020 08:47 PM

Apparently Adam Pearce now suddenly has the power to decide on the spot who gets to be members of Team Blue Brand's Men's and Women's teams.

Otis and Bayley got named as members despite not having to do anything to earn it.

Emperor Smeat 11-20-2020 08:52 PM

 at even Team Blue Brand Women don't get along now that the team is finally complete.

Remember when they had GM's to make matches?

Now it's just some random producer because GM's were bad :shifty:

Emperor Smeat 11-20-2020 09:13 PM

That insult by Reigns about Drew only being a top champ because he doesn't work on Mondays was pretty cool.

Same style diss as when Heyman mocked JBL years ago about his lengthy title reign and being a top champ on SD was only due to Triple H didn't like to work on Tuesdays.

Emperor Smeat 11-20-2020 09:32 PM

Murphy vs. Rollins was very good but laughed at that match being mostly Murphy getting beaten up a lot and him winning via getting lucky with hitting 2 moves at the end.

Also  at how fast they segued to the start of the next segment with Sasha. Gave Murphy's win no time to get soaked in.

Emperor Smeat 11-20-2020 09:50 PM

Ouch at Jey Uso's ear getting smashed into one of the edges of the exposed SD faceplate from the ring announcer's table.

Got really lucky it didn't puncture or jab his ear drum.

Emperor Smeat 11-20-2020 10:01 PM

Bryan vs. Jey Uso was very good.

Compared to RAW's go-home show, SD's go-home show for Survivor Series was a ton better overall. Even without the comparison, it was a pretty good show overall this week.

erickman 11-20-2020 10:58 PM

yeah smackdown is the better show now i almost stopped watching raw i end up deleting my dvrs before the next mondays show

Gerard 11-21-2020 06:30 PM

Not sure why they bother giving Asuka Promo's to do when all she can do is shout into the mic and come off like an idiot for the most part. Yeah English not her first language and all but fuck me, it's so stereotypical sounding it's farcical. Then again Vince has a hardon for Stereotypes so i suppose it works for him. :nono:

I'd post the usual SD and 205 Live preview stuff but WWE was extra lazy with updating their website for this week's shows.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Announced for <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/SmackDown?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#SmackDown</a><br><br>- Daniel Bryan vs. Sami Zayn<br>- King Corbin vs. Otis <br>- The Street Profits vs. Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode. <br><br>(via <a href="https://twitter.com/WWE?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@WWE</a>) <a href="https://t.co/fJ3hNbQ718">pic.twitter.com/fJ3hNbQ718</a></p>&mdash; WWE on FOX (@WWEonFOX) <a href="https://twitter.com/WWEonFOX/status/1332485697610129408?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">November 28, 2020</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Don’t miss WWE 205 Live, streaming tonight at 10 ET/7 PT on WWE Network.

Either tonight's show is having one really long match or going to have a ton of filler since last thing anyone wants is a 30+ minute Daivari match if he's still as boring in the ring as he was when I last watched the show around a year ago.

Emperor Smeat 11-27-2020 08:17 PM

Poor Otis, getting viciously destroyed by Jey Uso after he got verbally destroyed by Reigns on the mic.

Too bad the cam work during that beatdown was shit. Shaky cam and quick cuts have been a plague to WWE's shows.

Emperor Smeat 11-27-2020 08:32 PM

Roode & Ziggy vs. Street Profits was pretty good despite the ending being seen a mile away since it was a non-title match to lazily set up a future tag title match between the same two teams.

Emperor Smeat 11-27-2020 08:40 PM

 at Murphy's hover hand on Aalyah.

Emperor Smeat 11-27-2020 09:10 PM

Sami vs. Bryan was very good and WWE didn't do the lazy thing of having Brayn beat Sami solely because it was a non-title match and Sami doesn't have a challenger yet for TLC.

Did end via shenanigans so WWE's lazy booking habits wasn't completely avoided.

Emperor Smeat 11-27-2020 09:20 PM

Tonight's booking of match finishes has been weird. Not a single match so far ended in a way that made the winner look good or have a non-fluke victory.

Otis vs. King Corbin never happened because Jey Uso beat up Otis before the match could even start.

Roode & Ziggy vs. Street Profits ends via surprise roll-up.

Sami vs. Bryan ends via countout due to Sami's shenanigans.

And now Natty vs. Bianca ended via roll-up due to Bayley's interference.

Full expecting this upcoming Corbin vs. Murphy match to end in some shenanigan-based way.

Emperor Smeat 11-27-2020 09:28 PM

:| That Corbin vs. Murphy match might have been the dumbest match of the year for the Blue Brand in terms of how ass backwards the booking of it was.

Murphy wins via Rey and Dominik constantly cheating in his favor despite the Mysterio Family being faces and Corbin was the heel. Corbin didn't even do any real heelish cheating to warrant that reaction by them.

Emperor Smeat 11-27-2020 10:00 PM

Owens vs. Jey Uso was pretty good despite the lame DQ finish.

Not a single match tonight ended without some sort of shenanigans or fluky thing happening.

This week's show was mostly fine overall. Had a few interesting stuff happen like the Bryan vs. Sami match and Owens post-match stuff and it mostly flowed well but had a really rough patch for a good chunk of the show and some of the booking was all over the place.

Volare 11-28-2020 01:03 PM

Watched the Tube clips, great shit by K.O. I'll will be paying attention to that feud.

mike adamle 11-28-2020 07:54 PM

What in the fuck was up with the mysterios cheating like crazy for no reason? That was annoying as hell

GD 11-29-2020 09:50 AM

I was thrown off by the crowd audio during Talking Smack. So strange.

Sami/Bryan was really good though :y:
