Just actually playing football like you are supposed to be doing, what is wrong with it?

The object of the game (for offense) is to try and score a TD on every drive, yet apparently it's wrong to do that when you have a big lead. :|

I would feel bad for the Packers but Nick Barnett was talking shit to the Eagles coaches when his team was down by 38 so whatever

maybe

They could have gotten something better then a 2 round pick I would think, maybe not though since he had a bad rep.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 12-06-2004 12:05 AM

I know if I was on a team and we were getting worked, I wouldn't be mad at them for running up the score. I'd be mad at myself because I wouldn't be able to stop them.

Supreme Olajuwon 12-06-2004 12:09 AM

I think Baltimore gave San Fran a 2nd or 3rd rounder for TO before it got cancelled

But its cool cause the Bengals got Madieu Williams with it and he is a beast

Jesus Shuttlesworth 12-06-2004 12:14 AM

I think San Fran was trying to screw over TO tho werent they? Since he wanted to play for the Eagles.

el fregadero 12-06-2004 12:35 AM

Stupid Scobee had to miss those kicks. :'(

Supreme Olajuwon 12-06-2004 12:45 AM

Jags, Broncos, and Ravens losing means BENGALS IN THE PLAYOFF HUNT

Jesus Shuttlesworth 12-06-2004 12:49 AM

WHAT THE EFFFFFFFFFFFF DID THE JAGS LOSE

Those dickbags, coulda put Pats in the lead for homefield

el fregadero 12-06-2004 12:50 AM

Yeah, and Jacksonville would have been the second wild card team.

Rain Man 12-06-2004 02:42 PM

That Jaguar, Steelers game was an awesome game. Leftwich and Big Ben are freaking nasty

Savio 12-06-2004 03:53 PM

Mad upsets last night....Maimi is terrible.

Gonzo 12-06-2004 04:00 PM

I so wanted the Jags to pull that one off.

Triple A 12-06-2004 06:19 PM

Nah I am glad Pittsburgh won. Helps the Jets out by knocking other wild card contenders down a bit.

And it will allow the Jets to be the ones to end the Steelers' streak.

BCWWF 12-07-2004 12:25 AM

If the Seahawks blow this game, the Miz should not be allowed back on these boards.

With about five or so minutes left they scored a TD to go up by 1, after the 2PC they were up by 3. Soon they get another TD to go up by 10. On the next series Dallas gets a TD, now they have recovered the onsides kick and are driving fast with under a minute. They are on like the 20 now. Vinny sucks, but even if they somehow can't get into the endzone they should get the field goal to force OT. Wow, I used to like the Seahawks.

BCWWF 12-07-2004 12:25 AM

OMG, Dallas just got a 15 yard TD by Jones, WOW

Johnny Vegas 12-07-2004 12:28 AM

Damn, that was a good run! This is exactly why i watch other games than the Eagles :y:

DrA 12-07-2004 12:32 AM

Yess I have never been more happy in my life.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 12-07-2004 12:33 AM

LOL Seahawks are terrible

Jerry Rice put up a stat line tonight tho

Boomer 12-07-2004 12:36 AM

Doesn't matter to me as long as Hassleback and Alexander actually score me points for once.

Which they did. Thanks. You may continue losing now.

BCWWF 12-07-2004 12:41 AM

OMG, Boomer listen to this scenario...

So I am down by 11 points, I have Shaun Alexander and Darryl Jackson, he has the Seahawks defense. How perfect! A high scoring game both ways with Seattle losing

The Outlaw 12-07-2004 12:43 AM

If they are going to have instant replay, at least use it when it counts.

Fucking ridiculous...

ABOUT the same, only for this year, and football related.

Jerichoholic 12-07-2004 12:44 AM

Julius Jones is one sexy mother.

Niiiice. Had a pretty similar scenario. I had Hassleback and Alexander and the guy I'm facing has Vinny and Keyshawn and the Seattle Kicker. I was 23 points ahead before tonight so I should be ok.

#1-norm-fan 12-07-2004 01:45 AM

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG

MORE TO COME...

#1-norm-fan 12-07-2004 02:11 AM

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG

I'm so fucking giddy right now. I'M ACTUALLY GIDDY. The game ended an hour and a half ago and I'm still breaking out in silent screaming fits. Just sitting here watching TV and then, BAM. I jump out of my seat and pump my fist, trying not to yell and wake everyone up.

Y2Ant 12-07-2004 10:28 AM

HAHAHA yes Julius Jones is the man, I won in all my leagues this week. One of the head to head ones I scored 340 points

and me and DrA were the only ones to pick Dallas in pick'em !!!

SuperSlim 12-07-2004 01:13 PM

Seattle should have one that game Monday night. Stupid Seahawks.

The Outlaw 12-07-2004 01:48 PM

I am still wondering how they did not call for a replay. Pivotal time in the game which determines the outcome.

Terrible...

The Miz 12-07-2004 03:40 PM

Whenever we play a Testeverde team we get screwed by shit calls (Jets/Hawks MNF a couple years back anyone?). Seahawks deserved to lose this game though, they just don't give a shit because they know they'll most likely make the playoffs anyway

I know you arent serious, but reflect back to how the Vikings 1998 and 2003 seasons ended and then tell me about choking.

BCWWF 12-07-2004 03:54 PM

2001 was probably just as bad...43-0 NFC Championship Game loss to the Giants...We are going to do something stupid to end this season too, but we didn't have the same expectations. Also, I've said before I don't consider 2003 a real choke because we weren't a very good team. But yes, nonetheless the Vikings are one of the biggest chokes in the NFL.

Y2Ant 12-07-2004 05:02 PM

I think they were saying (I forget why) that they couldn't challenge that Keyshawn catch, because of the time or something.

Still though, Dallas recovered the onside kick (those things still confuse me :() and let them get not a FG, but a TD. The call was wrong on the TD before the onside kick, but they shouldn't have let Dallas get the ball back and score so easily.

Seattle were unlucky with that last bomb though, bounced into Engram's chest and he didn't react quick enough to catch it :o

MoRcHeEbA 12-07-2004 05:06 PM

the booth had to challenge it.

Triple A 12-07-2004 05:07 PM

Dallas couldn't challenge it because it was in the last two minutes. The challenge would have had to come from up in the booth.

The Outlaw 12-07-2004 06:55 PM

Seattle*

Then why did the booth not challenge it? I would have been throwing the red flag on the field anyway.

So many bad calling in that game. But yeah, Engram had a chance for that ball. :(

Triple A 12-07-2004 10:52 PM

It doesn't matter, the Seahawks defense is terrible anyway. They shouldn't have even been in that situation with the talent they have.

The Outlaw 12-08-2004 01:10 PM

I agree. :(

Y2Ant 12-08-2004 01:11 PM

Their top 4 linebackers were out :o
