When they beat my Patriots? Oh you mean just like last year in the playoffs? Or like the 1st week of the season?

The playoff game is most likely gonna be in Foxboro IF they even play each other in the playoffs, and you know Manning puts up huge stats there.

The Outlaw 12-11-2004 10:58 PM

Peyton Manning = the man

BabyHugger 12-12-2004 01:57 AM

I am completely confident that this is the Colts yr. Peyton Manning is on a whole new level than he was in week 1, or last yr. It is not even comparable.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 12-12-2004 02:07 AM

Yeah, the Patriots are much better this year aswell. Patriots actually have a running game this time around. They didn't have anytime of a running game last year and they still won. Now they got a probowl running back carrying the load.

I am not saying the Patriots are head and shoulders above the Colts, or that they will kill the Colts in the playoffs. I just feel the Patriots are a better team then the Colts, and have proved it many times the last few years. People just pick the Colts because they are flashy and exciting. Patriots are probably a boring ass team to watch unless you live in New England. But being from New England I don't give a shit. I'd take the W's

and since you were so right about the Giants...

They have the best QB in football, but unfortunately he cant do anything about their D.

As others have mentioned, its not that the Colts are so bad on D, its just that they are clearly worse than the other top teams in football.

The AFC playoffs should be amazing this year. Colts, Jets, Pats and Steelers all look awesome, and then you've got some wildcard teams like whoever comes out of the West.

As for what the NFL wants, I think they'll take the Pats against anyone really. If they play the Steelers, there is a story there with the rematch, and if its the Colts, you've got Manning to build on. Either way its good for the NFL.

Seems like the Eagles should waltz through the NFC. They are clearly the best team in a weak conference, but its hard to say if they are on the same level as the AFC teams. Of course I could see the Eagles winning it all, just because the AFC teams will kill each other to get to the Super Bowl.

BCWWF 12-12-2004 02:15 PM

I dunno, on paper the eagles should waltz through, but I could see a healthy Vikings or a motivated Packers team upset them. I don't really see Atlanta, Seattle, or St. Louis being capable of the upset though

MoRcHeEbA 12-12-2004 03:38 PM

yeah I could see the eagles losing in the playoffs like every year

Jesus Shuttlesworth 12-12-2004 03:50 PM

If all the Eagles key guys stay healthy threw the playoffs I really think he will make the Superbowl this year....finally

I could be wrong though, I figured they were going to make it last year aswell after going there for a 3rd straight time.

MoRcHeEbA 12-12-2004 04:01 PM

I would have laughed at the eagles if the packers blitzed 11 guys at mcnabb and just killed him in the 4th

BCWWF 12-12-2004 04:34 PM

I guess you can kind of cancel the Vikings in my last post. If they completely turn it around and the defense plays like they did against Jax there would be a chance

Gertner 12-12-2004 04:57 PM

12 and 1. "yawn" Just another win for the Pats

The Outlaw 12-12-2004 05:22 PM

Yawn? 35-28 against the Bengals = yawn?

Jesus Shuttlesworth 12-12-2004 05:25 PM

Yawn as in no big deal the Patriots won again. You kinda used to it, I think they have won something like 27 outta the last 28 games or something like that

The Outlaw 12-12-2004 05:30 PM

Really?

Jesus Shuttlesworth 12-12-2004 05:33 PM

YUP

The Outlaw 12-12-2004 05:35 PM

I dunno, I still wouldn't be saying something as stupid as "yawn" after a 7 point win against the Bengals, even though they have been hot lately.

The Icon of Elisim 12-12-2004 05:36 PM

This is the first that I've heard of this insane stat

On to more important stats, Peyton Manning is gonna break a record OMG

BCWWF 12-12-2004 06:41 PM

LOL
