That game ruled

Yeah it did! The Domino's in Columbia (where I go to college) had a deal that weekend where you could get $1 off a large pizza for every touchdown the Chiefs scored...I don't think they were counting on 7 touchdowns! $3 pizza is something the King can live with baby.

What that shows, to me at least, is that Atlanta has had a schedule that USC could have gone 500 in. The Falcons have not played one premier defensive squad this season, in fact you have to go all the way down to nine to get to the top defensive team Atlanta has faced this season. And the talk about Atlanta having a premier defense, well what I am seeing is a 14th ranked defense. I do see a few premier defenses though, in fact 3 of the top 4 defenses are still in the playoffs. You can't like those odds. The offense isn't quite as telling, but only two of the teams they have played are ranked well in defense or offense (San Diego and Denver). I could go into even more picky details, like how teams were playing when they met Atlanta, but I think these rankings should tell enough.

I will say it again, Atlanta has extremely inflated stats and extra media hype. Michael Vick will have to have the best game of his life or else the Eagles will have to come out completely flat if the Falcons want any chance to win.

Awesome post.

What the fuck are you?

The Sports Forum's version of The CyNick? :p ;)

BCWWF 01-21-2005 03:38 PM

Who is CyNick

BCWWF 01-21-2005 04:41 PM

You know what, I am going to go as far as saying that if the Eagles win and have TO come back healthy to the Super Bowl, I think they have a legit chance of winning. New England would still be the better team, but playing in Jaxsonville takes away enough of their mistique for a strong Philly team to sneak by.

Joe Kerr 01-23-2005 03:06 PM

Nice Windy weather for the game

HeartBreakMan2k 01-23-2005 04:21 PM

That was a brutal fuckin hit.

The Outlaw 01-23-2005 04:47 PM

Pretty hot game.

Savio 01-23-2005 04:58 PM

Eagles vs Pats

The Outlaw 01-23-2005 05:05 PM

I will kill you.

HeartBreakMan2k 01-23-2005 05:09 PM

That was a huge play

Joe Kerr 01-23-2005 05:14 PM

Interception is going to lead to a eagles score

Savio 01-23-2005 05:15 PM

Haha take that you falcon losers.

HeartBreakMan2k 01-23-2005 05:15 PM

Great pass to Dawkins *shakes head in shame*. That completely canceled out that defensive stop.

HeartBreakMan2k 01-23-2005 05:16 PM

Falcon's have to get this stop. 10 is a lot different than 14.

HeartBreakMan2k 01-23-2005 05:17 PM

Good stop but they would have been much better to follow the ball to the ground and pick it up.

Joe Kerr 01-23-2005 05:19 PM

Savior are you still pissed that the Rams lost to the Falcons? I mean Im a Eagles fan but if the Eagles lose Ill cheer the Falcons on because they are a great team.

Lol, Stima its called a figure of speech...used to emphasize how easy their schedule was...CALM DOWN! :p

BTW, in the past they used to have a game between the Super Bowl champions and the NCAA All Stars. Just a random fact, could you imagine that in this day and age? I can't imagine the college guys scoring one td, even if it wsa their best.

Joe Kerr 01-23-2005 05:24 PM

I think Akers got poked in the eye

BCWWF 01-23-2005 05:29 PM

Akers is the man

Joe Kerr 01-23-2005 05:30 PM

Lol at the fan making a run to the feild and getting taken down....when will they learn?

HeartBreakMan2k 01-23-2005 05:38 PM

Vick has got to learn when to throw the fuckin ball away

Joe Kerr 01-23-2005 05:45 PM

Looks like the Eagles are going to Jacksonvile

Joe Kerr 01-23-2005 05:48 PM

is it just me or is Westbrook incredibly short? I saw him next to Beasly and Beasly has like a foot and a half on him.

Joe Kerr 01-23-2005 05:51 PM

Eagles - 27 (extra point after commercial)
Falcons - 10

The Outlaw 01-23-2005 05:52 PM

He has 2 inches on him.

HeartBreakMan2k 01-23-2005 05:53 PM

Welcome to the Superbowl Philly

Yeah I know, but its still stupid. Way over doing it, yeah, the Falcons schedule wasn't very hard. But they will still won 10+ games in one season which is pretty impressive regardless of who you are playing.

The Answer 01-23-2005 05:57 PM

HeartBreakMan2k 01-23-2005 05:58 PM
