|
TO need's to be in the superbowl the shit would fly then.
|
haha TO is the man, he brings the entertainment
Everybody talks about how this boring but thats really because their is no big time superstars like a TO....both teams are good teams and it will be a good game |

guess who's on the cover of SI this week? That's right, the Panthers.
So, in no uncertain terms (and as much as I hate to say it) PATS WIN! PATS WIN! |

*credit www.bostonherald.com "Inside Track" collum* HOUSTON - Things got ugly at Super Bowl XXXVIII yesterday when Ross The Intern from Jay Leno's ``Tonight Show'' asked Rodney Harrison a question the New England Patriots tough guy thought was out of bounds! ``What's the wildest place you and your wife ever made whoopie,'' queried the curious intern. ``What did you say? What did you say?'' a rather perturbed Rodney asked. Which prompted Paul Zimmerman from Sports Illustrated - who no doubt wanted to ask the 10 millionth X-and-O question of the week - to pile right on! ``Get the hell out of here,'' Zimmerman shouted. ``What are you, the kicker?'' replied Ross. ``Yeah, I'll kick your ass,'' says S.I. All of which must have calmed down Harrison, who finally answered he wouldn't ``disrespect my wife that way'' by answering. BTW, Mrs. Harrison is set to deliver the couple's first child a couple of days after the Super Bowl. So perhaps the dad-to-be is a little overprotective at the mo. |
LOL wtf
What I thought was funny was Steve Smith's interview. DId anyone catch it? I'll try to dig up some quotes from it. Mainly, they were talking about how all but two (I don't remember exactly how many?) of the teams Carolina played in the reg. season had losing records. His response? "Is that our fault?! Is it our fault that they lost? Is it our fault they sucked?" |
OHHHHHHH YESSSSSSSSSSSSS
Almost gametime  |
!!!!!!!!!

PATSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Carolina WILL win. Just watch. People have been betting against them since the beginning. It comes down to Stephen Davis, and the Pats linebackers, though. I think the secondary can be delt with. The eagles have three pro-bowlers in their secondary, and they still managed. If the linebackers stop Stephen Davis, Carolina doesn't have a chance in hell, but dont count on that.
Carolina 17-13 |
I think the only the Panthers offense will able to attack the Patriots defense will be if they can get certain Patriot LBs into coverage on short patterns. I don't think that Carolina's stlye though so it will be interesting to see if they'd attempt to do it.
|
It's hard to say. The Patriots Linebackers are hard..nearly impossible to read. But something tells me Carolina has something up their sleeve.
|
Still going with 7-3 Patriots. It's been a good run for the Panthers but I don't see them winning this one. Just too much talent and Caronlina is one dimensional...
|
Ok, I'm still going Pats, close in the 1st half blow out in the 2nd.
That being said, "If I was John Fox" this is how I'd try and beat the Pats. Forget Stephen Davis, give the ball to Foster, run him outside, off-tackle, run short screens, Get the Pats DL and LB going east to west. Passing, get Steve Smith on Poole and go deep, Post, Fly, Flag. Get Muhhamad on whoever and run 10-20yd outs. Take advantage of his height. Don't go accross the middle, don't let the Pats come at you North-South where they can hit and do damage. On defense, Just rush the front 4 and leave the a MLB to spy the HB. Double up (short-bump and deep) on the WR's. giving the bump at the line will slow them down and screw up those short outs. Well, that's how I'd try and do it. |
Id also get Phifer in coverage on like a Tight End or something, he can't cover guys
He got lucky last time holding Pollard and shit, probably won't fly this time though |
rooting for the underdog.
|
PATSSSSSSSSSSS WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
|
I'm sure the Pats will win, but since neither is "my team" I'll root for the underdog.

|
Patriots will win, if not I shall eat my hat*
All the action better not happen in that first hour, otherwise I'm gonna be pissed *=I have no hat to eat, so I probably wont |
Should be 3-0 Pats.
No way you miss a 31 yard field goal in the SuperBowl. |
I know WTF . Both side's defense are kicking ass right now.
|
...or the offence isn't clicking. I see it more that way than I do a great defensive start.
|
Looks like Carolina's getting desperate.
That First Down was a bit iffy tho, so I can't totally blame 'em. |
OMG WHAT THE HELL. Someone fk'n score
