Dropkick I'll pass on (not a punker honestly), but I'll give Mrnorth a try since I couldn't find anything by them.

Yeah, I'm a picky bastard. :o

However, I'll give anything a listen to. Generally, vocals are the biggest turn on/off for me, which is why I have problems with screamo/emo/thrash metal/death metal.

Blitz 02-25-2006 03:32 PM

K, sent ya some Mrnorth.

Your e mail address.

For some reason, I've been getting a lot of delivery delays from hotmail lately, so if you didn't get it yet, that's prolly why.

Trying 'Circle, Square, Triangle' from TI, and 'Ride a White Horse' from Goldfrapp.

Ugh, TI is a little boring in my opinion, and LOL @ female vocalist. I dunno, just not my tastes man, sorry. :-\

It's cool dude
Fair play for giving them a download:y:

Updated my e-mail. The one that was there has been out of service for about a year now. My bad. :o

Yeah Danny, I gave them a listen to. I like some of the beats (I like techno and such), but the vocals were what tended to get me. Thanks for the recommendations though. :y:

Blitz 02-25-2006 04:07 PM

Sent again. :)

Fryza 02-25-2006 04:11 PM

Lol, I'll check them out here in a bit. Thanks again. :y:

Blitz 02-25-2006 04:20 PM

A quick word on Demon Hunter. Check out any of the following songs: One Thousand Apologies, My Heartstrings Come Undone, Deteriorate, or The Tide Began To Rise.

These are more on the rock side, with pretty much all clean vocals. Tide Began To Rise, in particular features a great vocal harmony at the end.

Everyone else can check out the site for other game music for that matter. Greatest collection of game music (real not midi) I ever seen. Otherwise there would have been cause for a crisis...

Fryza 02-25-2006 04:52 PM

When I was first looking them up, I remember seeing 'Deteriorate', so I'll give those a check out.

Edit: Kalyax, I added to favorites and I'll check it out before I get to Blitz's stuff (since it's the one song).

If you haven't heard Shinedown befor,e they might be worth a look.

If you were watching Raw a few months back, you would have heard "save me" from their new album hyping a PPV. It's pretty generic, their other album is better. Try "left out" or "In MEmory." They're still generic in the "whiny artfag misunderstood" sense.

OssMan 02-28-2006 08:37 PM

Captain Beefheart

no genre

Johny Hyde--Here comes the Breakdown.

You can DL 2 minute samples of each. Tracks 1, 2, and 7 are my faves of the samples available. And yes, he covers "tainted Love."
