So you guys would rather have RVD beat a midget joke of a Champ instead of someone credible, just because he used to be in ECW too?

If they do it right, RVD can use the whole 'You're in my/our house' thing on HHH in the build-up, and the fans would be right behind him.

Innovator 04-06-2006 04:37 PM

I'd rather have Cena vs. RVD for one reason

I want to see Cena cry, you think Chicago was full of bad apples? Wait until he goes to the Hammerstein Ballroom

The One 04-06-2006 04:45 PM

John Cena wouldn't be able to walk to the ring with his spinner belt before someone kiled him...you though Sgt. Slaughter was in denger before Mania, try sending Cena to an ECW Event with the fucking Spinner World Belt. That Nigga Gunna Get A Cap In His Ass!

redoneja 04-06-2006 04:51 PM

I think that the ECW should only have happened once, but because of last year's shit invasion angle, that there should be one more ECW PPV w/ no WWE involvment at all. Just the ECW guys, sending it off the right way. And then maybe everyone can move on.

Arnold HamNegger 04-06-2006 05:07 PM

I think the best environment for RVD to use his MITB is at the ECW pay per view. This gives him the automatic advantage of "hardcore" rules, vs. the handcuffed version of RVD we currently see on RAW. I like him facing HHH, but I like the idea of Cena even more. I think Cena can go balls out athletically in an ECW style match more than HHH, thus making a better match. Plus, I know ECW fans probably despise HHH for what he represents a whole hell of alot...BUT...how great would it be for Super-Cena's (the most hated man in wrestling) reign come to an end in the house of ECW to it's own most legendary performer, RVD. ECW fans have been screaming for "respect" for RVD forever and what better way to do it than this? Even better, have him come out to his old ECW intro (Pantera's "Walk") to hammer this point home. And imagine the heat on Cena when he comes to the ring with a group of Security guards/entourage. The atomsphere would possibly be unlike anything we've ever seen.

As an RVD/ECW fan, this would be the best way personally for me to see RVD win his first WWE Title. Beating Rey doesn't mean shit. That would just prove that WWE still doesn't view RVD as being to the level of HHH/Cena, so it would accomplish nothing. Besides, RVD beating Rey would mean him moving to Smackdown then right? How is that better for RVD then?

Savio 04-06-2006 05:13 PM

Probably done to increase casual fan buy rates.

I think it'd be terrible if they went through with it and RVD lost.

Savio 04-06-2006 05:21 PM

Could last years ONS actually be down?

I Think it might majority of ECW fans now are internet smarks. And from what I have heard Internet smarks are only a fraction of WWEs Fan Base.

sure we heard every one on message boards were gonna watch ONS But everyone on message board a smarks. ONS did not have a big appeal to mark so they might not have ordered. See what I'm saying?

Sadistic 04-06-2006 06:43 PM

Will everyone please shut the fuck up?

Anyone that mocks the idea of RVD vs. HHH and orders the PPV is a moron and a hypocrite.

I like it and I will be ordering the PPV.

The One 04-06-2006 06:48 PM

So because we are less then 100% happy with something WWE books, but we continue to watch we are a moron and a hypocrite?

I think you have taken one too many light tubes to the head buddy.

McDoogle 04-06-2006 06:56 PM

I don't think RVD will beat Triple H anyhow considering Triple H lost at Wrestlemania. When HHH does get the title back, he's going to have it for a long, long, long time.

The One 04-06-2006 06:58 PM

Minus the fact that Triple H has expressed a desire to take time off once his child is born in a few months.

Consider the fucktards who are saying "True Fans," "I draw the line," "Has no place," Etc.

Yes, that's called hypocrisy. Now maybe your complaints don't fall into that sort of category, but enough do.

The One 04-06-2006 07:06 PM

Well even "The True Fans" who have "Drawn The Line" and think Triple H "Has No Place" might want to buy the PPV for the other two and a half hours that have nothing to do with Triple H.

No....not if they are the true fans they say they are.
If WWE (not triple H) are "crossing the line" then the "true fans" are hypocrits for ordering this WWE PPV.

Kane Knight 04-06-2006 07:17 PM

If you're "drawing the line" on HHH at a PPV, but lack the conviction to "draw the line," You are engaged in an act of hypocrisy.

Exactly why it needs to be Cena/RVD. OMG, Imagine the atmospere. Talk about making money, you have Cena basically trash ECW and old school and do what he does best on the mic and you have an awesome buildup and match.

Kane Knight 04-06-2006 07:46 PM

Cena/RVD could be gold. Especially if Cena went on about how he was too good for ECW or some shit.

weather vane 04-06-2006 08:54 PM

I think it would be a great match for ECW ONS 2. I know it's supposted to be about reunions and shit like that but we already did that. RVD winning the title at ECW ONS 2 would be absolute gold. You guys have to realize that it isn't an ECW event, ECW is dead. It's a WWE event.

Get used to it and just enjoy what you get.

Indifferent Clox 04-06-2006 10:52 PM

I think as long as the match is a good ECW match it doesn't matter who is in it. If ECW would have survived and beat WCW and WWE (I know how impossible this is) then maybe Tripple H would have gone there and wrestled. Anyone could be part of any Group, it's not about the people as much as the wrestling. Of course the people make the wrestling and the people should be glorified as ECW is no longer around. But that doesn't mean that a good wrestler (triple H) and the man who had arguably the greatest match of all time (RVD V. Jerry Lynn Living Dangerously 99) can't put on a good ECW style match.

Gertner 04-06-2006 11:42 PM

MIKEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

Destor 04-06-2006 11:42 PM

The ECW invasion of the WWF was a very memorable point of the ECW stint. Thus a best vs best match is fitting. I have no problem with the mainevent.

Skippord 04-06-2006 11:46 PM

I would mark out if HHH won,but just to see the fan reaction after
