Mark Hendrickson.

This former Royal was signed as a free agent and was a Saves machine and middle inning innings eater. If not for his relative late start in the majors, I believe he would have been ranked as an all time great in terms of relievers.

The Miz 04-09-2006 11:00 PM

I'm gonna guess Dan Quisenberry

YOUR Hero 04-09-2006 11:09 PM

yeah.

Just went to look up some bio on him in case people needed another hint. - He's dead. :'(

Crap. Didn't realize that.

YOUR Hero 04-09-2006 11:11 PM

This former big leader played in 7 different seasons with 5 different teams. He is better known for his babseball analysis and movie roles.

The Miz 04-09-2006 11:26 PM

JUST a bit outside

Supreme Olajuwon 04-10-2006 03:40 AM

This Hall of Fame pitcher retired in 1953, only to come back 12 years later and pitch 3 innings at nearly 60 years old

Supreme Olajuwon 04-10-2006 03:14 PM

Leroy Paige

Supreme Olajuwon 04-10-2006 03:30 PM

This retired journeyman holds the record for most consecutive hits in a World Series.

The Miz 04-10-2006 03:48 PM

Billy Hatcher, but I remember reading he shares that record with Thurman Munson

The Miz 04-10-2006 03:50 PM

This catcher had a 14 year career in the National League, and currently believes that the world will end in December 2012

Supreme Olajuwon 04-10-2006 04:00 PM

DARREN DAULTON

The first official "All-Star Game" was held in 1933, but before that there was an unofficial "All-Star game" held that featured some of the leagues best players. This game was played to honor what player?

Ol Dirty Dastard 04-10-2006 10:13 PM

This MLBer led the AL in 1993 with a .363 batting average, he played for the Blue Jays and was traded to the Mets. He's also played for Seattle and New York.

The Miz 04-10-2006 10:30 PM

Olerud

This Mount Caramel High School (San Diego, CA) standout was in 1980 considered one of the best 2 prospects in the nation, along with Darryl Strawberry. The Mets drafted both and while Strawberry became a star, this player was never more than a 5th outfielder for parts of 6 seasons in the majors. Despite just 148 career MLB games, chances are you have heard of him.

Evil Vito 04-10-2006 11:31 PM

Billy Beane

This journeyman infielder retired after the 2004 season with a bang, hitting a home run in his final career at-bat.

Supreme Olajuwon 04-11-2006 01:41 AM

Todd Zeile

This deceased Braves outfielder's last hurrah saw him go 4-4 with 3 homers and 6 rbis before he retired 5 days later.

The Miz 04-12-2006 10:37 PM

George H. Ruth, you trickster

This outfielder brought Bartolo Colon to Montreal, and has a career average of .000 in WIAA High School Baseball play against The Miz

Frank Viola

This sometimes controversial former outfielder was the first player to slug 50 home runs and 50 doubles in a single season...

Evil Vito 04-14-2006 09:34 AM

Albert Belle

This current outfielder is something of a journeyman. A graduate of Newport High School in Washington, he is also brothers-in-law with a current Florida Marlins reliever

CNM 04-15-2006 03:30 AM

Todd Hollandsworth

This righty is the only pitcher to have ever thrown a no-hitter at Coors Field
