What has this got to do with videogames?

El Fangel 06-08-2006 10:45 AM

LOL, It went from a discussion about GM Mode, to people asking me why I like Tna, then arguements ensued.

Ogen 06-08-2006 12:40 PM

I AM VERY DISAPOINTED NOONE HAS TOLD ME IN HERE HWO TO BE A GOOD GM IF UR TITLE SAYS ITS ABOUT GM THEN SURELY THIS THREAD IS AGAINST THE RULES FOIR NOT BEING ABOUT WAHT HE SAYS...IFIND IT VERY HARD TO BE A GOOD GM BECAUSE I HAVE NO REAL LIFE EXPERIENCE SO TNA ROCKS!! Funny, you said "actual talent" and "No bullshit storylines" are your reasons to like TNA. "Actual talent" directly indicates that the "Other Guy" doesn't have it.

Quote:

And WWE does push their talent, but usually not to the main event status, usually if someone gets a push, it seems they are mid-carder at best, and they hardly ever get a main event spot. While most of the wrestlers I like are mid-carders, I really wish they would get a main event push.
Because that's so different from Jeff Jarrett and Sting being in the Main Event slot, the other basis for your love of TNA being total bullshit too.

Quote:

As for the wrestlers you have listed
MNM- they could do without Melina, which I see as A very loud high pitched screaming piece of eye candy, otherwise MNM is (or were :( ) cool.
MNM only got where they were because they had that screaming Eye Candy. I don't even like them, but they are obviously well respected for their talent...

Quote:

Burchill - Is awesome, he's a pirate, and seems that he has great potential, but he's only a mid-carder, still cool though, I enjoy his matches, and promos.
And all those guys you mentioned are ME-ing TNA right now? Wow, things have really turned around since I stopped watching if this is true.

Quote:

Kennedy - I haven't seen much of this guy yet, but my friend says he's amazing, and usually he can spot good wrestlers.
He's an excellent performer, not the best wrestler though. Still solid, but he's closer to the Rock than Benoit.

Quote:

...Kennedy - Not sure what you mean by this, or if it's a typo.
No number of "....s" can display my utter disappointment here.

Quote:

Lashley - While cool looking, appears to have not as good talent as the wrestlers you listed above or below. His matches seem to be squashes, and he does alot of power moves, and little chain wrestling. And from what I have heard is that he has trouble getting over with the fans. He's still awesome though, but he reminds me of maybe lesner, or goldberg in wrestling comparison.
Lesnar being one of the most genuinely talented wrestlers in the business over the last few years, I fail to see how that's a bad thing. <s>Wayne Brady</s> Bobby Lashley is the real deal, a guy with a legit martial arts/competive background who is capable of solid in-ring performance. The only problem is he's pretty poor on the mic 99% of the time.

Lesnar's mostly booked in squash matches, but that doesn't make him any less talented (Or solid, Goldberg LOOKED sloppy even in squashes).

Quote:

Kendrick and london - just one thing to say on them, they FINALLY got the titles :) :) :)
Too bad they had to split the one REAL team there was to feud with, but yes.

El Fangel 06-10-2006 11:51 PM

Look buddy, I really do not want to spend the rest of the time I am on these forums arguing with you, so I won't. The things I said before now that I look back seem like pretty good reasons to believe my judgment was bullshit, and wrong to say that only Tna had "real talent", like I said most of what I say or said seems to contradict itself in later post, maybe I should think more and research more before I make a post assuming anything relating in any federation or promotion.

Also the people that I referred to in Tna may not be me-ing but I find thier matches really entertaining. WWE has these mid-carder type wrestlers who I usually watch in thier matches as they are very good, I mean its not hard to see whats better, actually let me rephrase that, more entertaining: a mid-carder match between Beniot and Finley, or a main event squash between Cena and A member of the spirit squad (I think Kenny).

Im sorry to Kane Knight, and everyone else that we may have gotten off on the wrong foot, so i wish to start anew, and bury the hatchet. I've decided to first step-up and ask, hopefully you will accept.

thank you

this will be followed by a guide to Gm mode

El Fangel 06-10-2006 11:53 PM

also I still am unsure of what you mean by

....kennedy

Savio 06-10-2006 11:57 PM

why do, you talk, like this, TNA ROCKS?

El Fangel 06-11-2006 12:00 AM

because I always talk in one big long winded sentence I guess :p,
I really should you periods more.

El Fangel 06-11-2006 12:32 AM

yells FU*K loudly as I spent an hour making a post, and it didn't post.

El Fangel 06-11-2006 12:37 AM

amd it was a page and a half long guide to GM mode

El Fangel 06-11-2006 12:44 AM

ok here is a dumbed down version, the one I just tryed post was alot better.
but something f' uped on me.

hope this all works for you.

Here's what i did, start the gm mode, and get your pick first take Triple H, and wait usually your opponent will take Undertaker, but sometime not, he will take Angle, when this happens take Undertaker, if this did not happen start GM mode over again until it does. So when you start you will have an 84 and an 83, while the highest your opponent will have is 77 (Angle)
so right off the bat you will habe the advantage, in the first few weeks, get two rivalies going and have a few tag team matched between your 60-70 pops exp feud between jericho and kane, and beniot and big show, team up jericho and beniot , and kane and show, the normal tag match will get you at least 3 stars to 4.5 depending how long the feud is going, after this is over ( don't let it run too long), make the teammates feud, and have more tag matches, you can skip them if you want just only play if it seems one side is more dominant then the others. get all four members 80+ and have taker and HHH feud for 12 weeks then stop or your next show will suck the fans will hate it.
now that you have at least 6 people in the 80's build up your other 60-70's doing the same tag tactic (throw in a speciality match here and there, and a fatal 4-way for flavour reasons, maybe a title match, then after the teamwork fights are over, have the teammates feud for the title), so while you are building up some, get feuds running that will be 8 weeks plus at PPV's, this is the key to victory is gm mode, have the 2 weeks leading up to a PPV, with a double hyped PPV, as the thing that you can do between matches for 2 weeks leading up, then at the PPV have a main event ladder match, this is 3 fatigue and your people will also be able to fight next night if need be, next have an ic title or us between the 4 old tagteam people that are in the eightys, oh by the way the main should be HHH and Taker, for popularity reasons, next the 60-70s that you were raising should have a tag team table elimination match, this will result usually in a
main: **** and above
ic title *** 1/2 and above
tag *** 1/2 and above

have the rest of them fight in small feud matches and singles comp speciality matches
remember this is important. if you have smackdown get HBK, hes the best cruiserweight, and also flair and london if you can.
or womens get trish lita and some other diva asap
have matches between them
and speciality matches bewteen ALL that are not in feuds, that will help keep the average up
this may seem complex but its easy once you start it
but if you follow these instructions this 2 week, 4 times hyped PPV will net you anywhere from 800,000-1,200,000 million fans !!!!!!!!!!

~TNA ROCKS~

Ogen 06-11-2006 02:34 PM

I DONT HAPPEN TO THINK ONE POST ON IT IS ENOUGH IN A WHOLE THREAD ABOUT IT AT LEAST RITE LIKE A 5 OR 6 PAGE GUID TO EVRYTHING U NEED TO DO OTHERWISE YOU LOOK THIK AND IT WASTERS PEOPLES TIME WHO ARE LOOKING FOR HINTS!

MISTERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR...Kennedy!

...Kenn-e-dy!

Kalyx triaD 06-11-2006 05:04 PM

KK was all too happy to explain that.

Kane Knight 06-11-2006 05:40 PM

Actually, I was saddened that a longrunning internet fad and something that's been on Smackdown for the last 2 weeks had to be explained at all.

Kalyx triaD 06-11-2006 05:59 PM

Hear that, TNA?! You made KK sad, you bastard! That's UNACCEPTABLE!!!

Kane Knight 06-11-2006 08:41 PM

This thread is MAKE IT or BREAK IT!

El Fangel 06-12-2006 09:29 AM

I know how MR Kennedy announces I was just unsure by what you meant when you posted, Like this.

Kennedy
....Kennedy

If you really wanted to get your point across, you could have said.

Kennedy
....MISTER KEN-NED-Y
and I and alot of other people would have gotten instantly what you ment.

also Ogen, please type your messages not in bold, and so that people can understand them.I know i'm the last person that should be complaining about this, but seriously what are these words

RITE
GUID
EVRYTHING
THIK
WASTERS

also if you carefully read and do everything I have outlined you will win.
incase you haven't really noticed it is a guide. I can't make a perfect guide because of the randomness that the com picks wrestlers at, so I have given a basic outline. If that is not suffcient, ask me what you need to know about, since I only gave an OUTLINE I expect questions and the such. And I and I doubt anybody else can or has been able to do a perfect guide to GM MODE, because you probabily never will have the same GM mode twice. So what I put here is more a strategy that works 95-100% of the time as opposed to a perfect guide that works 99% of the time.

El Fangel 06-12-2006 09:34 AM

also in my opinion

MISTER KEN-NED-Y

is forking awesome, I saw him last week and it was amazing. :)

Kane Knight 06-12-2006 10:45 AM

Actually, ...Kennedy is the accepted way to do it. "A lot of other people" did understand what was being said.

El Fangel 06-12-2006 10:53 AM

Ok thanks I'll keep that in mind, so It wasn't everyone was confused by it, just me :P .

Just John 06-12-2006 01:58 PM

Yes, your IQ is that of an eggplant.

Ogen 06-12-2006 03:51 PM

OK I WILL NOT TYPE IN BOLD SORRY FOR THE SPELLING I AM ORIGINALLY FROM MEXICO AND NEVER ACTUALLY WENT TO SCHOOL IN THE US OF A. I THOUGHT IT WAS A GOOD GUIDE ITS JUST PEOPLE LIKE KANE KNIGHT DISCUSSING OTHER STUFF THAT IS ANNOYING ME SHOULD KEEP THAT TO OTHER THREADS KANE.

Skippord 06-12-2006 09:53 PM

Ogen's a drunk

Ogen 06-13-2006 11:08 AM

I AM NOT HERE TO BE INSULTED YOU WATCH YOURSELF SKIPPORD OR YOU WILL BE REPORTED ALONG WITH TNA ROCKS!

Kane Knight 06-13-2006 08:36 PM

*Reports a bad post*

Skippord 06-14-2006 02:11 AM

The Feature has been disabled MUHUAHUAAHAHAHAAHHA

El Fangel 06-14-2006 07:52 AM

No offense meant Ogen, It's that there were numerous spelling mistakes and its all in caps lock. I apologize.

also what's wrong with eggplant? I like eggplant :P

Kane Knight 06-14-2006 08:43 AM

That qooshing sound is something flying RIGHT over your head.

El Fangel 06-14-2006 11:49 AM

also something you should never do in gm mode, is have to do a last man standing match and win, against Kane, Taker or Foley, as it will take upwards of 45 minutes on legend mode

Ogen 06-15-2006 06:08 PM

THANK YOU THAT IS GOOD SOUND ADVICE I WILL NOT LET THEM STAND FOR LONGER THAN ANYONE ELSE

Disturbed316 06-15-2006 06:16 PM

GM Mode is boring, still haven't "won" it yet because it's so shitty.

Just John 06-16-2006 06:30 AM

Dear, TNA ROCKS

I have found a better, easier way to win GM mode, its called buying another controller if you dont already have one, selecting one brand of your choice for player one, and the other for player two. Proceed to give player two shitty wrestlers and no matches, do this for a year and you will get the award for it.

JUST JOHN :)

El Fangel 06-16-2006 07:49 AM

That also works perfect, but it defeats the purpose of the game.
I prefer to actually play the game, and earn the victory.

Impact! 06-16-2006 08:09 AM

You sir, are a dipshit.

Impact! 06-16-2006 08:09 AM

U SER R A DIPSTHIP

El Fangel 06-16-2006 09:19 AM

who are you calling a dipshit?

You make it sound like some elaborate deal though, when it's simple. I can pull out wins every time too. Now, my first win wasn't by the same margin, but who gives a shit? It's not hard to figure out how to get on top, especially after one season. Even if you were behind the first time, it should be easy to get a sizable lead.

El Fangel 06-16-2006 04:59 PM

It's not elaborate, it's more or less really cheap.
I mean come on, how fun is a fight where you opponent has no chance of winning, or even fighting back at all, and that's what games are supposed to be..challenging, because if they are not why bother playing let alone buying them.
