Its like a cross between the run and gun arcade style, halo shooter, and the more realistic cover-oriented GRAW. I love it.

SO far im impressed. Very cool single player, and co op.

I dont know how well it will play on Multiplayer deathmatch, Im going to try that later. Anyone played on Live? Good? Bad?

Online is too sick for words

Sick game. Played it last night at a friends. Co-op is awesome, possibly one of the best games I've played that utilizies the co-op feature well. I've always felt more games should have it. Sniper rifle is nastyyyyyyyyy.

The visuals in this game are freakishly good. So much detail i'm amazed it didn't take them 20 years to make this. Even the character animations are some of the best i've ever seen. I got hit and died by a berserker because i was too busy admiring its running animation to move.

To be honest, versus still isn't that appealing to me. I dunno.. the style of gameplay just doesn't go well. I also don't like having to wait for the end of the round to get to play again. The whole 'rounds' thing is kinda meh..

this game is the balls. Plain and simple. The online gameply reminds me alot of Socom, stop and pop, your ass dies...then your dead. Its a much needed break from the usual Halo 'balls to the wall you die, no biggy youll be back in 5 seconds' shit.

My brother rented this game. Really awesome. I'm hitting the floor laughing with some of the stuff the squad has been saying. Especially Baird. Funny stuff from him.

Weapons wise. I'm hoping to see alot more during my ventures in the game. Having a blast with the Torque bow. I plan to buy this Friday. If Gamestop doesn't fuck me over with the PS3.

Me and the guys spent like alot of money on getting a 360, 2 wired controllers, DoA4, Gears of War, SvR07, and Marvel UA. No XBLive yet. Anyway...

Gears is nice. I wish they put more into an offline multiplayer mode but whatever. Very pretty, too. I should be back on Live soon!!!

Played 2v2 multiplayer yesterday. Didn't get a kill, but yeah the graphics were impressive. I would have liked some more color though, and maybe make it easier to tell who is on your team and whatnot.

On Act four at the moment, where you "go home", I love this game more with every minute I play it.

Haven't tried out online or co-op missions yet, will probably do it after I beat the game first time round.

yea i'm gonna wait until i beat it also. im at the part where they blow up my helicopter and that fucker slices kim.

DIstubred. Two things:

1) if you hear a chainsaw getting revved up, roll past blind spots
2) if someone runs to you like Leatherface with his chainsaw revved, dont run, just fire a few shots at him and the chainsaw will stop and he'll stumble.

....aaaaand 3) aiming for the head is nice and all, but if you really wanna be effective in this game, you HAVE to aim for their legs. The legs drop them quicker, and there is no instant head shot kill with any weapon other than the sniper.

yeah my friends always die from the "i hear a chainsaw but i am gonna keep walking!" death, as soon as i hear it i roll left and run.
