I've always whined about how he wasnt given his due, and in a lot of ways I still maintain this to be true. He definitely was given the shaft somewhere between 2000 and 2002. And it wasn't his fault. However as time goes on I learn not to focus on the negative completely. We Jerichoholics and most intelligent wrestling fans know what could have been, but we can't change what was. Nevertheless, he had/may still have a great career in professional wrestling. He's held just about every title in the industry. Hes given us all these great moments and had a lot of great moments and accomplishments. Put us total Jericho-marks in the shoes of those who are the same way about other wrestlers. Things could be worse, much worse.
And besides, its not over til the fat lady sings. If its any consolation, sometimes it takes absence for someone to notice. Jericho returning to the WWE would make him as over as ever, and an ace in the hole in a time where they need over, charasmatic, youthful but veteran talent.
Perhaps we haven't seen the best of Jericho yet...

That was my point, when Jericho was being fed to Cena and fired like a bitch instead of getting a decent send-off that he deserved. I felt like that.
Realistically, if the guy retired now, you can't really fault his career. 7 IC title runs, countless tag runs, 3 time World Champ, the first ever undisputed champ, headlined Wrestlemania against Triple H at the point the company was at its peak, the man has done it all.
I don't blame Jericho for looking for other avenues for his career. Sadly, he's not muscle bound enough to be a movie star of any magnitude and plus, he never got the mainstream exposure that befell Austin & The Rock.
If he ever came back, unannounced, perhaps as the new GM of ECW, I would go crazy. If he went to TNA, I would watch every week. If he went to SD, I would watch every week. The guy is the one person in Wrestling that would make me do that.
I hope he comes back, 'to save the WWE', but I'm not holding my breath.
