If you just want the music, go put in a CD.
|
There's a difference between just the music on a cd and in person. There's a lot more energy and emotion and electricity in the air live.
|
See, already we're talking about elements that can "detract" from the music, though.

Also I obviously know that drummers sit down and play you plug. Don't sass me. Actually there was one part where they went and played in the crowd that was pretty cool. It was at the end of the show so by then I was like meh. |
PJ rules live because of Eddie and the passion in his voice. The guy has one of the best voices going and when he belts out those great vocals to his great songs, you really dont need much more.
Not to mention Mccready can get you going in a big way. Their set lists are also different from night to night. I'll be seeing Tool soon, we'll see how they shape up. |

Hey, at least I was being sarcastic. :p

Saw Jet a couple of weeks ago in Glasgow and they were great.
Saw the Killers about a month ago in Aberdeen and they were really good which kind of suprised me given that any time I have seen them on the internet at least prior to Sam's Town, they didn't look that great. Radiohead are still the best band I've been to see. |
