You are one sexy fellow Destor

You know, Derek Sabota still owes me a god damn Taz tape. Where is that bastard.

I loved when heyman cut a promo on vince and mentioned taz and was right in everything he said. When Taz stood up I got excited. Then he beat up Heyman and I was sad.

How did Taz not kill anybody by dropping everybody on their neck?

Didn't Taz get demolished by HHH?

A real match with both in their prime and ego laid aside would be awesome between Taz and HHH.

Perhaps I'm wrong because I haven't seen it since it took place in 2000. But from what I remember, Tazz was hanging in there and even had the upperhand at times against a heel HHH. He only lost at the end when Tommy Dreamer did a run in and cost him the match. Could be wrong, but if my memory serves me correct it wasn't a massacre, but a decent match with the WWF champion going over the ECW champion in a contreversial finish. Again, if it transpired differently refresh my memory but as far as I remember it wasn't as bad as people make it out to be. |

I don't see how a run in causing a loss to promote another fued kills that belt as some people try and claim. If anything it got a push from being shown on TV in a dream match against the WWF champion.
Add to that the fact that Tazz got screwed and it wasn't a clean loss, all to promote a fued/match in another promotion. I can't see the fault in that match or Vince for doing so, other than perhaps allowing the match in the first place. Though it's hard for me to fault that since I thought it was great exposure for ECW, Tazz, and made for a memorable night. If anything killed that belt it wasn't its cross-promotion in WWF, but the Mike Awesome contreversy with a public legal dispute over him "dropping" the belt. If that wasn't bad enough the guy showed up and got completely squashed (instead of wrestling a real match or jobbing it to an ECW talent) and then to make matters worse completely no sold the post match by getting right up and walking out after laying down. It was Bash at the Beach 2000esque. |
