reverend devon

EazyMack 02-23-2004 04:01 AM

I believe you and all, but how do you know Jericho's a Christian? I'm just wondering. That is a bit of a surprise to me.

PorkSoda 02-23-2004 06:50 AM

Eddie Guerrero is a christian. He says it in Unscripted, and he mentioned he does stuff by the Grace of God the Smackdown before the PPV against Lesnar.

DaveWadding 02-23-2004 08:51 AM

LOL... "Jericho's a Christian?!?"

Some of you guys are total class...

Where do you think he got the name Jericho? Did he just pull it out of his ass or something?

Sephiroth 02-23-2004 09:23 AM

Lets see Sting, AC styles, Jericho, Million Dollar Man, HBK and Eddie are Christians that are the guys that i know of they are Christians...so thats pretty good IMO.

Spoon Bender 02-23-2004 10:53 AM

Hogan says his prayers...but then he also trains hard and takes his vitamins so I'm not sure what that makes him.

Ultimate Warrior is a Conservative, does that count? :shifty:

No wait a minute, I forget that Taker was sent as the angel of peace by God. Nevermind. And Kane is a playschool teacher who works as a vetenarian part time on the side.

The Naitch 02-23-2004 10:58 AM

Yeah, and Hogan actually takes "vitamins"

You need to lay off the crack, man.

Kane Knight 02-23-2004 10:59 AM

And maybe be more than a lip service Christian.

The Naitch 02-23-2004 11:04 AM

You're the second guy who told me that. Maybe there's something in my coffee.

Jesus?

The Naitch 02-23-2004 11:08 AM

On the serious, I figure that Taker turns heel, starts going Satanic on everyone, that's where HBK comes in. Most feuds today don't even have a reason, but atleast this one has some sense to it and that way, it can bring that "New Generation" feeling back. It will also be another classic good vs. evil feud. But the interesting part would have to be which side will the fans choose? This could be another Bret vs. Austin type deal.

Vitamin C(hrist)

The Naitch 02-23-2004 11:10 AM

And maybe Batista could even side with Taker or something. Remember when Reverend Devon preached agaisnt masturbation? LOL, he probably masturbated with Batista on the low low. :shifty:

Fryza 02-23-2004 11:14 AM

I don't see why it matters. Seriously, their religion really doesn't effect their wrestling abilities. *shrug*

Oh, and Father James Mitchell sounds pretty Christian. :shifty:

Batista also used to be Leviathan.

The Naitch 02-23-2004 11:17 AM

Has nothing to do with the wrestling. It could be used as a reason to back up a feud. Wrestling is scripted anyways, so why does it matter if they use Christianity vs. Satanism (couldn't find the right word, sorry) to back up a classic good vs. evil feud.?

I dunno.

You notice how BUFF Hulk was when he used to say his prayers? Then he went nWo and got all saggy?

I think God was a little peeved.

Wrestling didn't suck enough when they tried to throw in flag waving...Let's add in an endorsement of religion in a very cheesey and disgraceful fashion to the pot...

With his past, he'd probably have Jesus come back to show footage of Kane's "visit."

DaveWadding 02-24-2004 12:33 AM

It is Eli.

The Icon of Elisim 02-24-2004 12:50 AM

I wonder if Vince McMahon goes to church?

St. Lucifer Pentacostal :naughty:

Kane Knight 02-25-2004 10:07 PM

I was thinking the Walt Disney Church of Evil.

Nowhere Man 02-25-2004 10:28 PM

I believe Mr. McMahon used to be a hardline Catholic, but then got excommunicated over religious differences. See, the Pope's Catholic, and Vince is the Anti Christ.
