You know, as somebody who actually thinks Kennedy is a good wrestler with a huge upside, I haven't heard ANYBODY give ANY reason why he's not a good wrestler.

The "he deosn't have a move set" is the weakest argument of all time. Especially coming from a fan of Kevin Nash.

Also, Hogan has never entertained me. Unfortunatly he IS one of the greatest of all time. So just because you don't like Kennedy doesn't hes bad.

Hogan: Unquestionable charismatic (I don't get it, but the numbers are in, most wrestling fans are retarded I guess). Huge draw, and had people eating out of the palm of his hand...

Mr. Kennedy: The only thing he has going for him (I've said nothing of his move set since I don't much care about those things) is his "...Kennedy" thing. Which, uh, great. I've said I don't care about move set, and posed that the ONLY thing he has going for him as a character, wrestler, or personality is the unique way in which he introduces himself...which fine...Road Dogg got over doing that, of course for my money Road Dogg was more fun to watch in the ring, but the point is Jesse was never anywhere near the Main Event. Kennedy is lined up to win the Title. So if you have a point to counter ANY of this, go ahead and share, but until then, shut the fuck up.

Do you actually watch Smack Down? Or do you just see it in passsing? Because yourself, KoOS and TL all have something in comon, you constantly seem to mention that you don't. Answer that and we'll take it from there.

You avoided the actual quesiton i asked, genious. You gave an answer which basically compared Hogan to Kennedy which is just fucking stupid. And i don't care if he has loads of moves, just wanted somebody to name some, and explain why he's so entertaining...all you really like is his entrance, be honest.

I watch Smackdown, not every week because most of the time nothing interests me (ie:Kennedy).

I do agree that I notice variety in moves from Kennedy. Neckbreakers, DDTs, that "Greenbay Plunge", the "Kenton Bomb", and of course the regular moves like slams, suplexes, armdrags and whatnot.

Kennedy may not be Chris Jericho or Shawn Michaels, but he's not Bill Goldberg either.

I use to watch SmackDown every week, now I watch it in extreme moderation. And for review, the last time I tried to sit down and watch it, Kennedy put me to sleep...literally. So really the fact that I didn't make it through the entire episode was quite actually his fault. Once SmackDown gives me something to care about (Black Power Ranger/Benoit is BARELY doing it for me) then I'll watch more regularly. But so long as Big Dave, Kennedy...Kennedy, and the rest of the nearly worthless SmackDown roster continue to be anything but impressive, I chose to spend my time elsewhere. But yeah, the fact that I dislike the product enough to not watch it means I forfit my right to an opinion. :roll:

I respect people's right not to like Kennedy or even to call him overrated, but I really do fail to see the lack of move variety that he's been accused of in this thread. It just seems like that's an easy shot to take at almost anyone these days "he has no moves", because a lot of the newer guys don't seem to have "trademark" moves, like say Bret Hart's Backbreaker, Piledriver, Russian Legsweep, Driving Elbow from the second rope, etc., Owen's Enziguri, Neckbreaker, Missile Dropkick, etc., Shawn's Flying Elbow Drop, Macho Man's Piledriver, Flair's chest chops and chopblocks, Benoit's German Suplexes, Triple H's knee lift, Knee Drop, facebuster, and things like that.

If anyone didn't follow that whole post, I don't blame you, and I apologize for rambling.

I don't care how big someone's move set is: The Rock had like 5 moves, but he could wrestle for an hour and I wouldn't get bored (sure he was up against HHH which never hurts, but still). Move sets are WAY overrated, pacing a match and making it exciting can be done with a move set the size of Rock's or Malenko's. Kennedy, regardless of the size of his move set, fails at making it interesting.
