I don't think there'll be an ECW title match now. I'm sure they would have planted the seeds for it this week if it was going to happen. I guess Striker and Grisham's work for the night will be the Tag title match then? And MITB along with the other announce teams?

Really, Bourne vs Swagger is fine. |

Not my own personal bedpost of course, not enough notches by far.

^GIANT FUCKING IMAGE POST.

Jack Swagger doesn't deserve a spot on the card of the "25th Anniversary" of WrestleMania.
There, I said it. He should get a match at the arena in front of people, but it will be a DVD Extra and maybe "special content" on WWE.com. Nothing else. Fuck Swagger in his goat. |

It needs to be Extreme rules whatever the match is.
|
I like the idea of Swagger vs Dreamer in extreme rules match but do it before like they did with that battle royal last year

Swagger vs Bourne to open the show
|
Jack Swagger vs. Evan Bourne is probably what they'll do, which will be good. The two should work well together, and have a really fun sleeper of a match. I don't see it opening (I can see Mizorrison vs. The Colons doing that -- so glad it's confirmed), but I can see them being used a crowd cooling spot after HBK/Taker or one of the World Title Matches (same as the Miss WrestleMania Battle Royal).
If they did go a little cooky with the ECW Title match, though, I wouldn't mind seeing them revive the Scramble Match concept for it. A twenty-minute match where the last man to score the pinfall or submission is the official ECW Champion. Jack Swagger, Tommy Dreamer and Evan Bourne seem like obvious choices for the match. Throw in The Brian Kendrick and Chavo Guerrero, or something. It looks like Tommy Dreamer is about to win the ECW Title, but out of nowhere, Swagger gets another fall and holds onto the belt. |

Swagger should issue an open challenge. I am baffled that he doesn't have a match at Wrestlemania. He shouldn't just stand around ringside for a match. Swagger is one of my favorites on the roster. I think his skills in the ring are very good and somebody is working on his lisp with him cause it's not as bad as it has been when he debuted.

p.s.
Postscript. |
Christian wins Money in the Bank and challenges Swagger that night. It would give the title so much credibility and really get the feud between the two going.
|
I'd rather see Christian win the MITB and bump into Edge during a backstage segment.
Then after Edge somehow weasles his way to victory in the triple threat, Christian's music hits and he beats Edge at his own game. The two fued for a couple months after Mania, as do Matt and Jeff. Eventually, the fueds intertwine and we get the dream fued/match we all pine about. Would fall perfectly for a summer buildup and a culmination at Summerslam. Just a thought. |
Obviously the "Christian cashes the case in at Mania" part is highly unlikely, but I do think the fued is a possibility in the summer.
Perhaps Christian wins the case, and gets moved to Smackdown. Or he doesn't, and gets moved to Smackdown. Then it can slowly happen. I think the key is to not make it too forced. A simple Christian vs Edge fued would work nicely after Mania. |
