The Trends. Edge: Panthers. http://walterfootball.com/images/fball/star.gif http://walterfootball.com/images/fball/star.gif
History: Road team has won 9 of the last 13 meetings.
Double-digit favorites coming off a loss are 33-59 ATS since 2002.
Panthers are 34-25 ATS as an underdog the previous 59 instances.
John Fox is 4-1 ATS as a divisional underdog of 7+.
Saints are 28-44 ATS at home since 2001 (11-9 since 2008).
Saints are 21-34 ATS as a home favorite since 2001.
Saints are 2-7 ATS as double-digit favorites under Sean Payton.

This is keeping in mind that the original line is Saints -14.5, I bumped it up 6 points to Panthers +20.5

This was also why I took the Lions +20.5

The Trends. Edge: Lions. http://walterfootball.com/images/fball/star.gif http://walterfootball.com/images/fball/star.gif
History: Packers have won 17 of the last 19 meetings.
Double-digit favorites coming off a loss are 33-59 ATS since 2002.
Favorites of 12.5 or more are 7-26 ATS since 1989 when coming off a loss as a road favorite.
Lions are 13-9 ATS as a double-digit underdog since 2006 (3-8 in 2009).
Jim Schwartz is 0-5 ATS as a divisional underdog of 7+.
Packers are 22-10 ATS after Monday Night Football in the previous 32 instances.
Mike McCarthy is 0-3 ATS after losing on Monday Night Football.

Kris P Lettus 10-03-2010 02:00 PM

No way we can hang with "elite" teams if we keep giving the ball up..

Reavant 10-03-2010 02:15 PM

krispy what the fuck is with pierre being out? fuck him

Droford 10-03-2010 02:40 PM

The first half of the Ravens game was too good to be true and sure enough first drive in the second half and they fumble deep in their own territory. Good job there..

Jeff Reed bonks one off the upright..wheew

Droford 10-03-2010 02:51 PM

LOL @ the Saints

I wish I hadn't bet the other 9 games..boo

Droford 10-03-2010 03:06 PM

Reed misses another FG, 3rd missed fg in the game from that end by both kickers.

And fuck if the Ravens aren't kicking to that end in the 4th.

Supreme Olajuwon 10-03-2010 03:19 PM

Hate stupid cracker ass white bread honky Peyton Hillis.

Slight knee sprain.. He was questionable all week.. I think they just sat him cause it's the Panthers.. Both safeties being out is hurting us.. And the turnovers..

Droford can eat a dick..

Kris P Lettus 10-03-2010 03:28 PM

So the local CBS coverage is waiting to show the Colts Jag at 3pm instead of Steelers Ravens, because of Manning and not wanting to go against the Saints game..

BOOOOOO

Supreme Olajuwon 10-03-2010 03:34 PM

I don't think they have a choice. The NFL, Fox, and CBS decide all of that stuff.

Kris P Lettus 10-03-2010 03:41 PM

I thought the local affiliates picked the games.. I know Fox and CBS rotate the double header, but I thought they still got to pick which game is broadcast..

Supreme Olajuwon 10-03-2010 03:46 PM

Actually I'm not sure if the rules are different when it's a CBS affiliate in an NFC market. Cause I think the games are determined by what division your team is in, but that should only matter on the channel that runs your conference.

So I dunno.

Kris P Lettus 10-03-2010 03:48 PM

Well, it seems in the NOLA area, instead of showing the best AFC game (which they did in Missisippi) they will always show one or both of the Mannings, cause they are local boys..

Supreme Olajuwon 10-03-2010 03:52 PM

Hmm, I dunno then. Cause I always get mad when they show Browns or Ravens games instead of the Colts on CBS.

Droford 10-03-2010 03:57 PM

WOW

the Ravens acctually won.

Nark Order 10-03-2010 03:59 PM

fuck the fucking 49ers right now

Emperor Smeat 10-03-2010 04:11 PM

Surprised how bad the Bengals are in terms of their expectations/potential. They lose to the Browns and fall 2-2 but Palmer has another big stat game. 3 straight games where the team failed to score more than 2 TDs since Palmer is getting good stats but majority of it didn't come in critical or Red Zone situations.

Droford 10-03-2010 04:12 PM

lol @ the Titans

I think the Ravens should be able to handle the Broncos at home next week. Kyle Orton will get smooshed.

DaveWadding 10-03-2010 04:13 PM

lol Niners.

Kris P Lettus 10-03-2010 04:14 PM

Pheeeeeew

Supreme Olajuwon 10-03-2010 04:15 PM

Bengals have tons of talent, but shoot themselves every single week by making stupid ass penalties. On their last drive, Chad Johnson made a stupid penalty that knocked them out of field goal range. Then on the Browns last possession, stupid fuck Pat Sims gets a defensive holding penalty and gives the Browns a first down and then they ice it. How the fuck does a fat fuck d tackle get a defensive holding call. Fucking retards.

Droford 10-03-2010 04:44 PM

So Rams for NFC West Champs?

DaveWadding 10-03-2010 04:50 PM

lol no.

Droford 10-03-2010 04:50 PM

KOLB SALAD TIME?

Who then?

Its not going to be SF. It likely wont be Arizona. Seattle only plays well in Seattle...

Tb1 10-03-2010 04:52 PM

AHHHHHH 9ers are horrendous

RP 10-03-2010 04:55 PM

Is Vick hurt?

D Mac 10-03-2010 04:58 PM

Droford makes a good point. The Rams could win the NFC West with a 9-7 record or some shit.

RP 10-03-2010 04:59 PM

Peyton Manning is ridiculous. I dont know what i'll do without him.

IC Champion 10-03-2010 04:59 PM

The Ravens are for reals.

They could make it with a 7-9 record, for reals, that division is terrible.

Kris P Lettus 10-03-2010 05:12 PM

I'm still on the 49er.. Even though I hate getting rid of a coordinator midseason..

I could have sworn they just said broken ribs.

RoXer 10-03-2010 05:14 PM

The NFC West is a cripplefight. It's whoever wants it.

Thats why you stay in the pocket, his run was void by a holding call too.

RoXer 10-03-2010 05:15 PM

omg

Has a team under .500 ever made the playoffs, or are we looking at a first?

IC Champion 10-03-2010 05:17 PM

Philly's o-line is terrible.
