Granted Toronto isnt great. But the way they just dominated the game, they are so much better than 10th. Miller missed alot of time, and so really they are playing catchup. But I just dont get them.

They basically have a 4th line spot that has been a rotation of AHL guys. Mark Macari, Luke Adam, Paul Byron, Marc Andre Gragnani. They just rotate them all and it seems like a waste.

The fact that their Captain is a Healthy Scratch in more than half their games is another one I love.

I cant remember another team that just dropped their captain but kept the C on him like that.

And its not like the Sabres C is a complete waste of shit. They have a real history of Captains.

Bruins shut down Savard for what could be the rest of the season and playoffs due to his last concussion. They don't even want to try to bring him back until they can be sure he won't get a concussion for the rest of the season.

Feel sad for him since he tries very hard to come back each time and ends up with the worst luck out of anyone on the team and maybe in all of the NHL.

The contract isn't final yet though it will probably be like how the Canucks signed Mats Sundin for the remainder of the season.

So in conclusion it won't have much impact on the Avs winning the cup.

As much as I love to see anyone beat Pittsburgh I hate the fact it's on NBC. The commentators on NBC are horrible. I understand they are only trying to get hockey to fit in the States but they are just horrible. Well, fuck ESPN. They've gone toa fucking college basketball game when there was still aload of the hockey game to play, WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK? How can they fucking defend this?

Simple answer is ever since ESPN lost out on the NHL rights for games, they mostly stopped caring about NHL until maybe 1-2 years ago.

It used to be for a long while, all they did for NHL was a weekly recap of 15 minutes on Sportscenter or ESPN News along with quick daily recap of scores.

The ironic thing is when they lost NHL rights, they bought Arena Football rights for games and when AFL collapsed, they bought La Liga and EPL soccer rights. During the whole time, they kept buying more smaller college conferences rights which were cheap and time fillers for daily games.

Nah they're showing the rest of it just the basketball during breaks. I still think they should just stick with the hockey until its finished and not switch between sports. They've also made a fuck up by saying the CBB game is live nhl. lol.
