I'm not denying Crosby isn't covered a shit ton more then anyone else in the league or anything. I just think it's ludicrous to have such a seething hatred for a player, just because you live in the surrounding area of his hometown. I can't imagine how people from the hometowns of the Beatles felt. Must of been pretty ragefilled places.

Crosby is covered a lot because he is that fucking good. I love the guy. You can hate the coverage he gets, but hating the guy because of it is ridiculous.

Hawks just can't defend the puck at all and there goaltending is average at best. Horrible combination.

Never once denied the guys skills. I can understand the love as the hometown boy, I can understand he is someone to be proud of as a Nova Scotia.

The approach they have in the local media is my problem. He is forcefed and during the regular season I normally don't mind so much but during the playoffs, the fairweather fans and closet supporters come in droves and it gets really irritating.

I understand it is irritating, but you say you hate Crosby. It's the closet fans, and the bandwagon jumpers, and your journalists, that you should be hating.
