Standing room only ~$20, and I have a pass for the transit. Food is ridiculous, but I usually eat big before I go. Issue is I have to buy for the ball and chain and she can't really do standing room.

I guess I could go without her....

screech 08-25-2014 11:16 AM

Good seats run about $45 each

road doggy dogg 08-25-2014 11:31 AM

I'm lucky, my usual group of ballgame friends all love standing room. I prefer it, we're usually always walking around for beers and shit anyway. And in Comerica, SRO spot has perfect view in RF

road doggy dogg 08-25-2014 11:32 AM

Defs would like to do the whole "behind home plate" seats sometime though, feel like that is a necessity for ballgame viewage

Droford 08-25-2014 04:06 PM

Some random O's fan gave me two tix 5 rows off the field at Wrigley on Friday, they were $100 a pop.

DaveWadding 08-25-2014 05:32 PM

Had really good seats at all 3 Dbacks games I went to this year via luck.

1st game we were upstairs and one of the customer service ladies asked if we would mind moving downstairs for free to accommodate someone else, last 2 games I went to we were right behind the plate because we won 2 free pairs of tickets at Fan Fest.

So pretty sweet.

El Fangel 08-25-2014 08:29 PM

I kinda wanna go watch the Blue Jays lose live now. Seems like a fun time.

El Fangel 08-25-2014 08:37 PM

Figure if I'm going watch them lose I might as well be drunk and able to heckle them for being down 3-0 to a team that's almost twenty games under .500.

Fucking infuriating that I started watching them as they are screwing their post season chances ala Toronto Professional Sports.

Is this what its like for Leafs fans every year? Ive only begun watching the Jays and I'm beyond frustrated watching. Can't imagine having watched all season.

Bumgarner has a perfect game through 6 vs the Rockies but its also 0-0

RoXer 08-27-2014 12:03 AM

If he does, The Fraze was at both of them.

...I'm jealous :o

RoXer 08-27-2014 12:21 AM

Base hit Mornueeurwhoa

El Fangel 08-27-2014 01:20 AM

Argh. 0.500

FUCK!!!

Droford 08-27-2014 02:09 AM

starting to set in the o's are going to win the AL East (as predicted by yours truly back in March *pats self on back*)

O's are 7 up on the Yankees with 32 games to go. O's can play .500 ball and finish 91-71. The Yankees would have to go 23-9 to tie the O's if they play .500, and for fun and giggles the Blue Jays would have to go 25-5.

Edit O's are actually on pace to win 94 games though. .500 would be a bit of a letdown

The Condor 08-27-2014 03:19 AM

Yanks are gunning for the 5 seed and I have faith that this MASH unit can get there

El Fangel 08-27-2014 03:38 AM

Fuck the Jays. Seriously. I do not know if I cannot rooting for them next season. I think I went with them solely due to them being all over Sportsnet. I like many players but I feel like I really should have sought out a team that I liked instead of going with what's plastered on TV.

I always like Lincecum. He still play for the Giants? What about McGwire? I seriously doubt he is still playing and lastly is Randy Johnson still pitching. Guy killed a bird accidentally with a pitch. Might be my favorite player ever because of that.

El Fangel 08-27-2014 03:39 AM

I dunno maybes it that they are 3-9 and are now 500 since I began watching. It seems like this is par for the course as well.

Cause holy fuck at something like that happening. I'm no advocate for bird slaughter I just think that it's pretty awesome it happened to such an already legendary pitcher.

BoSox.

Droford 08-27-2014 08:23 PM

David Price gave up 6 runs plus the bases loaded in 2+ innings, not to mention 9 straight hits in the 3rd to the Yankees. Meanwhile Smyly is shutting down the Orioles. damnit

El Fangel 08-27-2014 09:10 PM

Holy fuck. Jays are leading 4-2.

El Fangel 08-27-2014 09:33 PM

One more inning. Please don't fuck up. Also Bautista looks injured or something :(

SlickyTrickyDamon 08-27-2014 10:53 PM

Love the MLB playoff picture in the AL right now nearly every team is one that barley had a chance to make the playoffs a year ago. (Except As)

El Fangel 08-28-2014 06:23 PM

Damn. Always like seeing records getting broken.

RoXer 08-29-2014 01:29 AM

Blown call in this A's game for 2 different reasons and they're about to lose because of it.

Droford 08-29-2014 01:39 AM

I saw it, don't know how they didn't call aybar out, he got tagged and he ran way outside of the baseline

didn't matter though. Its pretty crazy considering how well they were playing through July that the A's are now battling for a wild card.

More I think about it, the more I think that was a good trade after all.
