Umm does ESPN know something about this game everyone else doesn't?

This is there front page stuff for the game going on right now:
Quote:

The Dodgers' bullpen wasted Clayton Kershaw's gutty performance Tuesday, allowing three runs in the seventh inning. Kershaw pitched 6 2/3 innings on short rest, leaving with the bases loaded. The Dodgers win Game 4 to extend the NLDS.
Game still has 2 and a half innings left.

Damian Rey 2.0 10-11-2016 08:23 PM

Time to let go Vito. You waste too much energy on silly shit, like an ex met having success elsewhere. Who cares? He's not on your team anymore. Just let him go and live happy.

ClockShot 10-11-2016 08:23 PM

BoSox keeping Farrell around it seems.

They knew what everyone knows

The Nationals are choke artists

Ol Dirty Dastard 10-11-2016 09:17 PM

you are a cheese goblin, Droford.

Frank Drebin 10-11-2016 09:29 PM

If the Cubs lose, I get $500+ so go Giants.

Droford 10-11-2016 09:30 PM

So after the Sox got swept and after the Nats choke away another one and after The Indians win in 5 If that makes me a cheese goblin then I guess I'm a cheese goblin (i have no idea what that is)

Ol Dirty Dastard 10-11-2016 09:40 PM

a goblin consisting mostly of cheese.

Ol Dirty Dastard 10-11-2016 09:41 PM

After all your predictions come true, Baltimore will still have been eliminated by the Blue Jays.

Ruien 10-11-2016 09:44 PM

Or Balt would have won the division. Blue Jays would have missed the playoffs. Or a ton of other shit. Ravens would also be going 13-0.

Damian Rey 2.0 10-11-2016 10:00 PM

Is Droford this bad in the NFL thread? Jesus.

I can't wait to hear how Baltimore doesn't need Machado when he walks and declines Droford's dumb idea that he'll take a 3 year pay cut to stay instead of cash in and leave.

The Nationals are choke artists, but Baltimore choked away the division, the wildcard game, out bidding themselves on Davis' contract, signing Fowler only to let him walk, giving Gallardo a contract to give back a 5.42 ERA, Trumbo falling off a fucking cliff in the 2nd half, Joey Rickard sucking balls and losing his spot to the guy who should've started from the beginning, Weiters taking the money and providing below average offense, giving O'Day a big contract to get a 3.7 ERA in return, and, oh yeah, choking in the playoffs.

If you wouldn't get upset seeing a guy who spent his whole career on your team get let go and transform into an MVP candidate IN YOUR DIVISION...I don't know what to tell you.

He was the first player in history to get a hit in all 19 games in a single season against his former team, clubbed 7 HR against them, pumped his first after every defensive stop and celebrated during every single game against the Mets like it was the World Series.

Why in the world would I want to see him win a ring? To further validate that Sandy completely fucked up in his assessment of him as a player?

Ol Dirty Dastard 10-11-2016 10:01 PM

Lackey is hittable tonight.

Evil Vito 10-11-2016 10:03 PM

Conor Gillespie has been quite a story. Wasn't even meant to start the Wild Card game and has suddenly turned into an offensive juggernaut.

And the Red Sox won the same number of playoff games as the Orioles.

Evil Vito 10-11-2016 10:06 PM

Travis Wood HR. Jake Arrieta HR. Matt Moore RBI single.

#ScrewTheDH

Droford 10-11-2016 10:08 PM

I should actually root for Toronto to win the WS because it'll increase the likelihood they pay out a bunch of money to EE and Bautista and maybe 43 year old RA Dickey comes back instead of retiring

Droford 10-11-2016 10:09 PM

Dodgers Giants NLCS

Somebody gonna die again

Evil Vito 10-11-2016 10:11 PM

Feel like if the Giants win the World Series again they may as well just stop having baseball during even years.

Droford 10-11-2016 10:11 PM

If the Cubs lose this series they might as well just give up. I

Nobody in their right mind could've guessed Murphy was gonna hit 40 plus points per ops+ higher than his career numbers. Nobody. Not even the Nats, because they'd be lying if they came out and said they saw it in him. The only reason they signed him was because they couldn't get Philips from Cincinnati. They just got lucky that Murphy had a likely fluke season.

And who cares? He's not on your team. What does sulking about it do? Adrian Gonzalez plays and murders the fucking Padres. Every. Single. Year. Murphy couldn't lace Gonzo's jock. But who cares? He's not in the hometown jersey so whatever fluke got steak he gets or career year he pulls out of his ass is moot because it ain't on the hometown team. He walked. Just let it go man.

Droford 10-11-2016 10:14 PM

Baez hustlin

Ol Dirty Dastard 10-11-2016 10:15 PM

I was still rooting for David Price in Boston for the most part and he was a HUGE fan favourite here.

Damian Rey 2.0 10-11-2016 10:16 PM

Haven't seen a guy move that quick since Showalter tried dodging questions about not using Britton

Evil Vito 10-11-2016 10:16 PM

I don't think Damian Rey understands how sports work.

Evil Vito 10-11-2016 10:17 PM

Kinda think I understand why RDD said Damian Rey was a far worse part of these threads than Droford. No easy accomplishment.

Ol Dirty Dastard 10-11-2016 10:18 PM

Vito, you do have a bit of a flair for the dramatic. I mean it's great lol but it's true.

RDD is a shitstick sometimes though. Damo just has his opinions, but it's not like he's a big dumb idiot like Droford.

Evil Vito 10-11-2016 10:19 PM

Go through the thread this year. The dude goes out of his way to be a contrarian to everything I say here.

Oh well. If the Mets don't re-sign Cespedes you won't see me in here anymore anyways.

Price should have gone somewhere with no shot at the playoffs so he wouldn't have to even begin to worry about pitching in playoffs. Wanna talk about stupid contracts..let's give 200 + million to a guy whose 0-7 as a starter in the playoffs. Brilliant signing for a team expecting to be in the playoffs every year of his contract. What are they going to do..not let him pitch?

Ol Dirty Dastard 10-11-2016 10:22 PM

he's contrarian with everyone. Just stick to your guns.

Like how I still believe wins are valid as a pitcher :p

He got way too much money. At the time it was hard to see him go, but I was happy the Jays didn't offer him that kind of idiotic deal. Now Boston is paying the price (pun not intended but kind of lolworthy).

Droford 10-11-2016 10:28 PM

Whoever was filling out that scorecard was sitting almost exactly where I was sitting back in August

Droford 10-11-2016 10:30 PM

Lol if it's a Believeland vs Believen WS

Who believes more

Not to mention an almost city for city rematch of the NBA finals

Red Sox have been really dumb with over paying in recent years but at the same time signing Price was also a panic move considering the previous 2 years.

Lost out on both Lester and Scherzer for 2014's offseason and backfired big time with the no real ace plan for 2015's season.

Wtf are you talking about? Did you miss the part where I was stoked and rooting for the Mets with you last year, and fucking complimented them for figuring out a rather brilliant way to sign him going into this year? Or even recently, the agreement they need to resign Colon and look to replace Wright?

Dale has it right. I just give my opinions on things. Some agree. Some don't. If you wanna blow energy complaining to a FUCKING PADRES FAN about your best players playing on other teams then have it. I just don't see why you'd waste the energy, but it is your energy.

If I'm Droford or worse does that make you NegaDroford? Rips his team at every turn and gives up on them at every obstacle?

RP 10-11-2016 10:33 PM

Not looking good at all.

I remember him trying to tell me the Mets' MVP wasn't worth re-signing. roflllllllllll

Evil Vito 10-11-2016 10:33 PM

Oh well. I suppose it's better to be stressed about baseball than be stressed about a failed marriage. HEYOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

RP 10-11-2016 10:33 PM

At some point, Rizzo has to arrive or i'll have questions
