The one thing that will make ESPN care about hockey again is if the NFL does have a lockout.

Londoner 02-09-2011 11:14 PM

Remember the ESPN channel is different over here though. They do show alot of hockey atleast which is one of the main reasons i've got it. Just didn't realise what they were doing at first, but they have missed the whole of an overtime/possibly a shoot out before so i was about to get very annoyed then!

weather vane 02-09-2011 11:26 PM

Best game I have ever seen and the best night of my life!!!!!!!

Unreal. Unfucking real. Best night ever in the history of life ever in the world.

OssMan 02-09-2011 11:27 PM

Where do you live that hockey is on ESPN?

LoDownM 02-10-2011 12:01 AM

Probably Canada

Londoner 02-10-2011 12:06 AM

England.

El Fangel 02-10-2011 01:08 AM

Lol at Price vs Thomas

Gertner 02-10-2011 12:27 PM

lol at any Hab of even thinking of dropping their gloves.

JimmyMess 02-10-2011 12:52 PM

Who was the one who got the fuck beat out of him? I just saw the highlights ....

Kapoutman 02-10-2011 12:53 PM

Only Pouliot seemed to be able to handle his guy, and the guy is fucking 6'4''. He better be able to outpunch Krejci. As for the others, I love my team, but there's no way any of them is winning a fight.

Spacek and Pyatt got beat up pretty badly, if they're the ones you're referring to.

Gertner 02-10-2011 12:56 PM

I'm not even suggesting picking up a goon, just a guy to has some sandpaper in him and will drop the gloves so guys like Spacek dont have to fight. That's the second time this year Spacek got his ass kicked and he should never have to drop the gloves.

XCaliber 02-10-2011 01:53 PM

Somehow I'm not suprised about Mike Fisher heading to Nashville considering who he's married to.

Yeah, instead of paying a goon to fight, we pay a center alot to suck ass.

Need a power forward who likes to fight.

Kapoutman 02-10-2011 05:39 PM

There are rumours of Gauthier wanting Chris Neil or Jason Arnott. Not really what I was expecting.

El Fangel 02-10-2011 05:43 PM

For a team that has Scott Gomez, I can't say much.

I wouldnt mind Neil though.

Kapoutman 02-10-2011 05:44 PM

I wouldn't mind Gomez if he was half that price.

El Fangel 02-10-2011 05:48 PM

Even then, it would be a bit overpaid.

El Fangel 02-10-2011 05:52 PM

2014 looks like a good year for the Habs.

Londoner 02-10-2011 09:14 PM

Great fight in the kings/penguins game just now.

Gertner 02-10-2011 10:27 PM

It wouldn't shock me in the least to see the Habs make a play for Neil, depsite being in the same division. I mean, the Habs traded Grabovski to Toronto and it worked out well for Montreal.....oh wait.

Lara Emily 02-11-2011 03:02 AM

Penguins win tonight despite having a second lime comprised entirely of AHL guys

He's back and in the line-up tonight. What impact do you expect from him, if any at all?

El Fangel 02-11-2011 03:48 PM

Playing with Duchene and Hejduk, I will say 2A 1PPP + 1 and 4 SOG

Can't say we miss Grabovski. He was being a constant bitch here, getting drunk in bars with Higgins and the Kostitsyns, and when he would get demoted, he would throw a fit in the papers. He even refused to get on the plane one time as some form of strike or something. I don't know. Fuck Grabovski, really, no matter how good he is.

LoDownM 02-11-2011 03:55 PM

Duchene is a center and so is Forsberg, that's not gonna happen.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP)—Peter Forsberg(notes) is expected to play in his first NHL game since 2007-08 when the Colorado Avalanche play at the Columbus Blue Jackets on Friday night.
The team confirmed the Swedish star, a former Hart Trophy winner as league MVP, was able to clear up some lingering immigration paperwork. He is expected to play on the same line with center Matt Duchene(notes) and right wing Milan Hejduk(notes) (MEE’-lahn HAY’-dook).

El Fangel 02-11-2011 04:00 PM

Looks like he will be playing LW or Duchene will.

ThePhantom 02-11-2011 07:29 PM

I think Duchene would benefit from playing on the Wing. Less defensive responsibilities, and with a Centre like Forsberg, could see a lot of good opportunities to put the biscuit in the basket.

ThePhantom 02-11-2011 07:30 PM

Mind you, with Forsberg's health, maybe he would be better off on the wing.

Forsberg is playing left wing

If I EVER met this cuntwaffle, I will boot him in his dick so fucking hard his mother will feel something going in her ass.

OssMan 02-11-2011 09:14 PM

Guy likes two teams

parkmania 02-11-2011 09:53 PM

So, apparently the <s>Pittsburgh</s> Wilkes-Barre Penguins aren't anywhere near as good as the NY Islanders.

El Fangel 02-11-2011 10:02 PM

jesus, this is hilarious.

El Fangel 02-11-2011 10:45 PM

Omfg, Brawling in the Pens/NYI game

Corndad 02-11-2011 11:06 PM

This game is redic. There's like no one left on the bench lol

El Fangel 02-11-2011 11:10 PM

Unbelievable.

Corndad 02-11-2011 11:11 PM

7 Total Skaters left lol Really?
