Just rewatched Force awakens, and I know it seems way too obvious but everything points to Rey being Luke Skywalker's daughter. Han knows who she is, and it looks like Leia does to. Hence why she gave Rey such a big hug after Starkiller base.

It's so obvious that I feel they are throwing a curveball, but I can't see anything else.

Also Force Awakens not as good on the 2nd viewing... Still awesome though.

Don't know why everyone keeps going on about Han and Leia "knowing"/"recognizing" Rey..... I did not get that feeling at all....

For this movie, before even looking at the timeline, I guessed the new lead was the young version of the eventual captain Phasma. A wild guess indeed.

I got that feeling more on my 2nd viewing.

When Maz goes to Han "Who's the girl?" They immediately cut away. To me that implies Han knows more about her that we can't know yet.

Also if Leia didn't know who she was why would she give her such a big hug?

Because she is a human being, force sensitive, has empathy, and Chewie snubbed her.

I still think people will be bitching that there's little Jedi stuff even though they are being upfront about it. People bitched when Agents of Shield didn't have the Avengers on every week.

Well what happens now, I'm sure she filmed scenes for Eps 8. Sounding like a dick again like the Heath Ledger death I'm hoping she finished her scenes and can either work a proper sendoff or maybe it'll fit with what they already did. One thing's for sure reshoots will heavily be about Leia's fate.

Have read that Episode 8 is already done filming..... they probably will do reshoots to change things around unless the plan was already for Leia to not be around in episode 9.

Seems like somebody created a Princess Leia character in Star Wars the Old Republic. They played the toon in the plaza of House Organa in Alderaan.

Several characters from both sides Imperial and Republic are standing vigil over the toon.
