ive given up on shooting down spy planes because i seem to be the only player on the team doing it. Also, with Ghost Pro on, it gives the other team a sense of security and thats when i pop out and shoot 'em.

I dont have a single class without Ghost.

I used to have hardline pro on and rock all three drop packages, but they patched it so only the care package can be changed, so ghost is the new permanent.

Sidenote, has anyone actually used the infrared scope at all? I tried it like once and didn't like it.

I've been using infrared for a little bit now. I'm kinda split on it, since I tend to snipe mostly on Array and WMD, where the snow doesn't help much. But I'm still doing pretty good with it.
Also love custom reticles. Dunno, just seems like some of them make it a lot easier to aim. |
I use blue dot or dot with an x + icy blue camo for my guns. Quite like the look.
Still wish sniper rifles were a little more powerful of the one hit kill section of the chest was larger. Many shots I make, I end up giving someone an easy kill and i get an 80pt assist. |
What are you using? I Use the L96. 90% of my shots are chest and OHKO.

I use them all basically, but like the WA2000 the most.

I stuck some poor bastard on Nuketown 5 times with the crossbow in one game the other night. He kept trying to camp himself in one of the bedrooms and every time he emerged at the window I would nail him. Good times. I wonder if he appreciated it, like I would, or if he was biting his controller in fury. In the same game, there was a boot back to the lobby just as I was about to unleash a chopper gunner, so I think the host knocked their PS3 off. Suspect it may have been that guy.

Was playing some HC CTF with Req, Rixer and one of their friends. Was on the electrical tower sniping and they had our flag, Req is like nevermind they got it. I turn in time to raise the scope, zoom in and headshot the bastard literally inches from capping our flag.
Roxer, as he runs like a bat out of hell, takes our flag back, grabs their and scores for the win. |

have played 10 times since using the stakeout as a primary weapon. All 10 sessions are positive K/d ratio of at least 1.3 or better.

Love it, just went 30-6 and lost. Love those games of team deathmatch.
i've got a system down now and It is working wonders. Use the stakeout, get a quick kill and ditch my secondary weapon for whatever weapon they drop. just have been straight running games lately |
I can't do that, I have to run with a launcher since 1 in 20 games has someone else shooting down spyplanes on my team.

I like how you now have a chance to shoot a CG down as you dont appear right away anymore.
