I love both songs the Braves play after huge hits. I would put them on my iPod if I could find them.

Sugar Hill Gang - Apache

YOUR Hero 08-16-2005 12:47 AM

Why the hell are they still using Schilling as a closer anyway?

JUMP ON IT

YOUR Hero 08-18-2005 11:33 PM

LOL, nice defence there, Manny. Too bad Erstad could have turned that into an inside the park HR

YOUR Hero 08-18-2005 11:40 PM

Wakefield just took of shot off his ankle. Ahahaha, although I think Wakefield is an alright person, I love it for the fact it's the Bosox. Go Jays!

BCWWF 08-20-2005 03:12 AM

3.5 games back bitches. Sweep of the god damn mother fucking overrated White Sox. The A's are 4-6 in their last 10. Johan and Radke are back to form. Lew Ford is clutch again. Joe Mauer is more of a ladies man then your hometown hero. Hope has temporarily returned to Twinsville.

A Twins-Cardinals World Series would be fucking unbelievable (basically everybody at school is from St. Louis) but lets not get too ahead of ourselves. One game at a time.

The Miz 08-20-2005 11:34 AM

Not gonna happen. 4 team race now, NYY, OAK, LAA, CLE.

YOUR Hero 08-20-2005 12:09 PM

JAYSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

BCWWF 08-20-2005 09:19 PM

What? How are the Twins out of it being only three games back and having just won 6 of 7 games against the White Sox and A's?

The Miz 08-20-2005 11:28 PM

Who are both in incredible slumps. Call me when they beat a good team playing well

The Miz 08-20-2005 11:32 PM

By the way, Richard Sexson > the Twins.

Haha remember that time someone was talking about wasted money and you posted a picture of him? He currently has 32 homers and 90 rbi to go along with an OPS over .900. The Twins sure could use him, considering their current lineup consists of Joe Mauer, Shannon Stewart, and seven bums.

VonErich Lives 08-21-2005 12:26 AM

THE ROYALS WIN!!!!

Damn, I really wanted them to go 0-August!

Nervous Ferret 08-21-2005 12:26 AM

lol

VonErich Lives 08-21-2005 12:31 AM

Schillings back in the starting rotation.

Timlin is the closer for now.

Foulke had a simulated game, 2nd or 3rd pitch Trot Nixon hit, hit Foulke in the arm, he's ok and I think has another simulated game this week.

He doesn't want any rehab in the minors, but the Sox always send a pitcher their first of the DL. It's possible with him being a closer they won't.

I still think next year you'll see Foulke as a starter.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 08-21-2005 01:14 AM

Schilling vs the Royals on Thrusday

Loose Cannon 08-21-2005 01:17 AM

RoXer 08-21-2005 01:19 AM

STFUUUUUUUUUUU

Loose Cannon 08-21-2005 02:14 AM

what the hell am I saying fuck for. Yanks are half a game back now

CNM 08-21-2005 02:38 AM

Thank God for the Royals. The only team keeping the Rocks from being the worst team in baseball.

BCWWF 08-21-2005 10:31 AM

The A's are slipping

BCWWF 08-21-2005 11:41 AM

So spending millions of dollars on a huge bat so that your team can rot in the cellar is a good decision? You got me.

The Miz 08-21-2005 12:38 PM

If the Kansas City Royals sign a huge bat this off-season, will they be a playoff contender? Rockies? Pirates?

The Mariners were very bad in 2004. Very, very bad. So bad that no matter who they brought in - even if it was Lee, Pujols, or ARod - they would still be very bad in 2005. This team lost 99 games last year, they will not lose that many this year. Had they not signed Sexson, they would've lost more.

The Mariners are not a team that was one piece away from being a contender. They were, and still are, several piece away from being a contender. Sexson was one piece and a step in the right direction. He is one of the premier power hitters in the AL and has met everyone's expectations.

If you hadn't noticed Seattle has the best pitching prospect in the game as well as a plethora of good young talent. Felix Hernandez, Mike Morse, Jeremy Reed, Jamal Strong and Yuni Betancourt all have bright futures. People love to rag Beltre but people forget he has played in the NL with the same organization since he was 16. He will never hit 48 homers again but he can still be very good. He is still only 26.

Sexson is the least of our problems.

The Miz 08-21-2005 12:41 PM

I doubt they'll make the playoffs if their moron manager doesn't shift that lineup. Beane also needs to bring up Daric Barton and wipe Scott Hatteberg and Bobby Kielty from existence.

Innovator 08-21-2005 12:43 PM

A's are gonna choke

The Miz 08-21-2005 12:48 PM

Thanks for your insight

YOUR Hero 08-21-2005 12:54 PM

Bobby Kielty, Jays traded him to the A's. Forget what they got...

The Miz 08-21-2005 12:59 PM

Ted Lilly, who wasn't that good so it makes me hate Kielty a little less that they didn't really give up anything. Kielty would be ok if he would stop switch hitting, he is the worst left handed hitter of all time.

The Miz 08-21-2005 01:01 PM

Also if I remember correctly the Jays traded Shannon Stewart to the Twins for Kielty straight up, talk about trade-rape

YOUR Hero 08-21-2005 01:05 PM

I think the Jays gopt a pitching prospect, but I forget. Stewart was always getting hurt and seemed to have lost his ambition in Toronto. He had to be moved.

YOUR Hero 08-21-2005 01:10 PM

Also Lilly has been 'ok' on the Jays. Better than Kielty or Stewart would be.

BCWWF 08-21-2005 01:34 PM

Francisco Lariano

YOUR Hero 08-21-2005 03:03 PM

God damned Jays. They get back into the playoff hunt and then get swept by the Tigers. So much for the 4 game series being worth a damn. 15-0 Tigers right now.

The Outlaw 08-21-2005 03:15 PM

Ouch.

The Miz 08-21-2005 03:33 PM

Why cant they beat bad teams?

Joey Slugs 08-21-2005 04:20 PM

FUCK RANDY JOHNSON.

Back-to-back-to-back HRS, two base hits, then a 3R HR.

Couldn't of happened to a better man.

VonErich Lives 08-21-2005 05:31 PM

It's funny, once the Red Sox knew Perdo was gone, everyone wanted Randy and/or Pavano....

Guess sometimes it works out not getting what you want.

VonErich Lives 08-21-2005 07:04 PM

I don't know what suprised me more...

Renteria's first HR in over 200 AB
OR
David Ortiz butting onto base with the bases empty.

He keeps saying he was going to do in cause of the "shift" and he did... LMFAO.

Evil Vito 08-21-2005 07:08 PM

Went to the Mets game today...strangely, the biggest highlight was riding in the elevator with Keith Hernandez on the way to the Diamond Club

Can't remember the last time I've booed so much in a game (most of the booing coming in the first inning)

Though it was cool with Mike Jacobs...first big league game, AB, hit, pinch hit, HR, and first 3 RBIs

I don't get why more lefty power hitters don't do it. They're giving you first base.
