Rob Gronkowski!!!!!!!!!
Stima, you're going to love him. |
I think his whole family is settled in the Mass area but not too sure. Maybe you've heard of them.
|
Rob went to my high School outside Buffalo, think they live in PA now...
|
Clausen finally went. Panthers took him.

Gruden from yesterday during the draft.

McCoy finally got drafted, 3rd Round 85th pick to Cleveland Browns.
|
Great day for Denver, 3 guys who can come in and start immediately
|
I'm really happy with our draft so far. If there's anybody I'm willing to give a chance to impress me and develop into a great QB, it's Tebow.
|
Pats had a pretty strong day 2. Brandon Spikes is an animal
Happy w/ the Taylor Price pick; not sure if it's gonna translate but I remember watching him play at Ohio and being impressed with him. |
I like the Ravens pick of Sergio Kindle, they had a time with getting a decent pass rush last year and he should help out a lot. Dickerson is also an excellent pick at #70 and if things work out I could see him supplanting HEEEEEEEEEEEEAP by the midway point of the year at TE.
Kiper said he was capable of starting in the NFL Day one, but unless something crazy happens Heap gets the benefit of the doubt to start off even though his time's pretty much past. Also apparently the nickname for the Cody/Ngata combo is the 700 Club since both of them combined are over 700 lbs and gonna stuff guys up the middle. Was totally amazed Cody fell all the way to the Ravens for the 57th pick. |

I'm shocked that the Giants didn't get a linebacker. There must be somebody they really like in the later rounds or something.

I will, DrA. Just for you

Could Tebow have been wearing a gayer shirt for this?
honestly |

BA-DUM-TSSS
If Tebow and Quinn are both gay QBs, I wonder which one would be the "backup" :naughty:
|
Kyle Orton better not get drunk around the two of them!
|
Giants finally got their middle linebacker. Of course, it's not somebody expected to make much of an impact.
Still not sure why they passed on Sean Lee and Brandon Spikes. |
I've had a few questions myself about the Giants draft this year. However, since Reese has taken over as GM, the Giants have had some solid drafts. They aren't usually flashy, or make a lot of trades, but just have nice, solid, quiet drafts.
|
They could have had Kirk Morrison easily but he got dealt to the Jags instead.
Loads of trades happening right now. In a 30 minute span the Seahawks have added LenDale White and Leon Washington. |
Jets release Alan Faneca
|
Raiders apparently talking to the Skins about Jason Campbell.
Could JaMarcus' days be over? This would basically reverse about 4 years of hilarious draft related mishaps by Oakland  |
Jets traded Leon Washington and a 7th round pick for a 4th which was used on JOHN CONNER. Bummer to see Leon go he is the man, but he is coming off serious injury and wants to "get paid". Plus the Jets took McNight anyway and they have more good kick returners so I don't really see it hurting them at all. They played the second half of last season without Leon. Faneca though :(
|
Jason Campbell traded to Oakland holy ****
|
This Myron Rolle story is so depressing. Dude has essentially been punished for being too smart.
|
Yeah, such bullshit. Teams should be jumping at the chance to have a guy like him, but instead because he worked hard at more than just football they question his passion. Just means he'll have something to move on to when his playing days are over, instead of just disappearing into nothing like most retirees.

LenDale White to the Seahawks as well..so now they have Juilus Jones, Justin Forsett, Leon Washington and Lendale White. All 4 of them together might add up to a decent RB. |
Tim Toone is Mr. Irrelevant

Wonder why they didn't get anything for next year though. |
A few notable undrafted free agent signings:
-Bucs: QB Jevan Snead -49ers: RB LeGarrette Blount -Ravens: LB Mike McLaughlin OT Tony Washington is still unsigned. Nobody seems to want him because he fucked his sister. |
My breakdown of the Giants' 2010 Draft Class:
1. DE Jason Pierre-Paul: I like this pick. It may be a bit risky but the dude seems like a really good athlete. Assuming Osi stays I'm still not sure how Fewell plans on using Tuck, Osi, Kiwi, AND JPP but you really can never have too many athletic pass rushers. Interested in seeing how this guy pans out. 2. DT Linval Joseph: A smart move here as the Giants are really questionable at DT. Robbins is gone, Bernard was horrific, Canty was also pretty bad. Hopefully those latter two guys will bounce back and combine that with Alford coming back and the addition of Joseph it could be a really solid DT rotation. 3. S Chad Jones: With the status of Kenny Phillips uncertain, it was a really good decision to get even more extra insurance. If his hands are as good as advertsied should see some playing time. He also has really good speed and could factor in as a punt returner. 4. MLB Phillip Dillard: When the Giants missed on McClain I figured they would get Sean Lee or Brandon Spikes. They were willing to pass on those guys for Dillard though. There are like 4 guys competing for the MLB job so you never know, if he comes out of the gate strong he can start. 5. G Mitch Petrus: Dude seems crazy strong and benched 225 pounds 45 times at the Combine. The Giants desperately need to get younger on the line so this is a good team for him to wind up on. He won't be starting right away or anything but depending on how the aging line plays this year he could look to grab the LG spot from Seubert in 2011. 6. DE/OLB Adrian Tracy: Given the state of the LB corp I'm going to have to assume Tracy will be playing primarily at OLB in pre-season, cause at DE he'd do no better than #5 on the depth chart. It seems like Boley is the only LB guaranteed to start no year so it doesn't hurt getting more competition for the other spots. 7. P Matt Dodge: Initially I assumed he was just going to be brought in to compete with Aussie Rules guy Jy Bond for a practice squad spot to take over for Feagles in 2011, but Feagles may actually retire now. For what its worth he's one of only two punters the Giants felt were worth drafting this year. He also can handle kickoffs, which is a plus as Tynes sucks at kicking off. |
Fucking Cardinals are getting a black alternate which essentialy makes them the Arizona Falcons
|
Yeah not too happy with that either RoX! Looking exactly like my dirty birds.
|
Giants give 33-year old DE Brandon Crawford a tryout. Awesome. He's in great shape and didn't begin his college football career until after being discharged from the Marines.
In the longshot event that he winds up on the Giants' Opening Day roster (by which point he'd have turned 34), he'd be the oldest rookie since 1946. |

Guess which brand new billion dollar stadium this seat (and 58 others like it) is in, and win a prize.. |
Jets/Giants, it's the only new stadium this year
