This is gonna be their third time seeing Kluber in a week. A team with this many good hitters is bound to figure him out.
Yep, but obviously Miller won't be doing mop up duty tonight. So, Kluber might not have to go long.
What if Cleveland both won and lost a series that was 3-1 at one point in sports in the same year.
I might even take Jake out of the game soon just in case he might be able to do some small thing tomorrow if called upon.
Arietta coming a tad unglued
Figured Cubs would win this game. Still believe they will lose tomorrow though. Just see Hendricks coming unglued and giving up 2 to 3 runs early which the Cubbies won't be able to recover from.
Starting pitcher will probably go 4, maybe 5, innings before the Indians bring in their bullpen and wear them out to clinch. |
When Hendricks is on though the guy is ridiculous
I think Arietta gives up a 2 spot in this inning
Cubs just lost the series bringing Chapman in now.
Chapman looked in some pain. Weird that such an athletic powerful dude is seemingly so immobile. Guess it's like too much muscle in his legs.
FOX trying their best to explain the logic of bringing Chapman in, but with a 5-run lead it makes no sense to me. If you cannot rely on any pitcher to not give up a big inning, they don't deserve to be on the roster....In a 2-run game its a different story, I just don't get it.
I think it's the idea that you have to make sure you get to tomorrow to play tomorrow. I get the logic. It's easily argued against, but I understand why it was done.
 ump getting pissed at the pitching change with just 1 out left in this game and Cubs up by 6.
I put good money on Chapman going in tomorrow and getting lit up and costing them the World Series.
The Cubs are winning it all. It is destiny.
I'm not even sure it would qualify as an "lol Cleveland" moment if they lost tomorrow...the Cubs have been the best team in baseball all year for a reason and they've felt like the team of destiny for quite a while.
Gonna be a fun game to watch. |
Only if some really wacky stuff happens tomorrow against them or else its just regular ridicule if they were to lose.
Hope Cubs win...........
Tomorrow is gonna be epic. Hold on to your hats.
Feel like my heart is gonna break when FOX inevitably pans to shots of depressed looking elderly fans of the losing team.
Yeah Chicago got to see a shitload of NBA/NHL titles in the last 2 decades and Cleveland just won the NBA title this year.....but for some of those old fans, baseball is their one and only sport and this could well be their last chance to see them win it all. Fucking crazy. |

Last road team to win game 6 and 7 was the 79 Pirates over the Orioles
You were wrong again Droford. Can't you make like Baltimore and go away while we still have an exciting postseason left
Why does Droford have to hate on everyone's fun? I don't get it.
Joe Maddon confirmed after the game tonight that Zach Briton is still available to pitch.
Droford's got money on the Cubs because he knows he's always wrong.
It's destiny for the Cubs to lose today. The Lovable Losers lose game 7 of the world series. IT'S the perfect story going into next year.
If my Mets can't win it all next year I hope whoever loses tonight wins it all next year. Do it for the old people!
Game 7

And I'm not always wrong |
You've been wrong just about every single time this post season.
Except for the Indians vs the Red Sox and Blue Jays and the Nats choking
Baez Walk-off HR in the 9th for the win.
A giant meteor hits with the game tied and no one wins

I havent been shaking with nervousness like this since the Colts played the Pats in AFC Title game in 2006.
If the Indians score in the first 5 innings the game is over
Shwarber's cheeseburger locker got in the way of his double attempt there.
Cubs and Indians are both playing like shit.
Indians are seeing Hendricks' pitches. Think they could blow this sucker open.
