@RealCoryLedesma Cory Ledesma
During the entire Q&A interview Sheamus said "fella" 37 times. We counted. @RealCoryLedesma Cory Ledesma I asked Sheamus whether we got his paleness down right in <S class=hash>#</S>WWE12. This is what he had to say... <EMBED height=390 type=application/x-shockwave-flash width=640 src=http://www.youtube.com/v/KR4PZVrSfjI?version=3 allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always"> |
I have no clue what Sheamus is even saying.

TMZ is now reporting that Lesnar is in the game.
http://ll-media.tmz.com/2011/10/10/1...-getty-exd.jpg After SEVEN YEARS apart, UFC pain machine Brock Lesnar is getting back into business with the company that put him on the map -- WWE -- in a deal that will make him the "featured star" in a brand new video game. Multiple sources confirm ...the people developing "WWE: 12" approached Brock back in January and asked for permission to use his name and likeness in the game and the advertising campaign. We're told Brock loved the idea -- but wouldn't sign off unless his current boss, UFC honcho Dana White, gave his blessing. Fortunately, it worked out. TMZ spoke with White, who told us, "I love WWE and I have nothing but love for Vince McMahon -- I'm totally OK with Brock being in the game." We're told the first commercial for the game -- starring Brock -- will be released tomorrow. |
 re-animated f-5 I hope!

Brock Lesnar is returning to the WWE - in video game form. THQ has confirmed to me that Lesnar, who hasn't been seen in a wrestling ring in over seven years, will be the final character in the game's main roster.
"It's one of those things where… it's part of my history. Without the WWE, I probably wouldn't be where I am today," Lesnar told me via e-mail. "I wouldn't have the high visibility, I wouldn't have had the leverage to come into the UFC. I would have had to do it all on my own. I'm no idiot when I say that when I was with the WWE, the visibility from that company and what they did on a global network for 'Brock Lesnar' as a whole, put me on another level." Lesnar as a character will play very much like you expect, retaining his signature move set, including his signature finishing move, the F5. A brief hands-on with the character indicated that THQ had in fact nailed Lesnar's likeness - he moves and attacks like the monstrous tank you'd expect. http://ps3media.ign.com/ps3/image/ar...049118-001.jpg THQ is updating the star to reflect his current look (mostly that means he has more tattoos) versus his appearance seven years ago. Though he's not a gamer himself, being in a video game made perfect business sense to the former WWE champion. After being gone from wrestling television for nearly a decade, many younger fans have likely never even seen Lesnar in a squared circle. For those keeping meticulous track, Lesnar's Overall Score in WWE '12 is 92. That's equivalent to superstar Eddie Guerrero, and below a few major names including The Rock (96), Randy Orton (95), Edge (94), CM Punk (95), 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin (95), Triple H (94) and the Undertaker (97). Lesnar will be unlockable through a "brief run with the game through WWE Universe mode" according to THQ. Of course, being in WWE '12 begs the obvious question - would Lesnar ever consider returning to WWE programming? "It would have to be under the right circumstances," Lesnar said. "I don't know if Mr. McMahon and I could come to the right circumstances. If it was good for me and good for him I think that we could do something. At the end of the day, my life, my character and my profession - I take them very seriously. At the end of the day, if it doesn't help me or my family out, and it doesn't make sense for me to do, then I don't do it. Everything would have to fall in the right place, but would I consider it? Absolutely." Lesnar noted there is one former WWE superstar who could easily lure him back to the ring - 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin. "[Austin] chicken-sh**ted out on me and walked away and didn't want to participate because he thought that I was getting something too fast too soon and he felt threatened by me." Lesnar also noted there is "a guy that's been on a winning streak for a long time that somebody needs to step up to the plate and finish the winning streak." A suggestion of a match with Cena, perhaps? Credit - ps3.ign.com |

I can't tell. Are these really good renders or heavy Photoshop jobs? |
Yeah he put on his old gear for the photo. Kinda cool, and promising.
|
pretty sure that's an old/one of the first WWE promo pics of Brock with the knife tat added
|
You're right.
|
I'm glad that Lesnar has a 92 overall even it's only 1 point higher than last game he was in, in which his 91 was the second highest in that game beaten only by Legend Undertaker with the highest of 93.

Never cared for the scores. Didn't mean much in practice.

Brock being in this game is pretty cool.
|
Itching to see Lesnar's Entrance...
Very excited for this game now, gonna feel like HCTP all over again :) |
Well...... Here Comes The Pain!!!
|
I want Sid in this.
|
The People's Edition may be shit, but it's only an extra fiver.
Exclusive to play.com in the UK. |
I'll just pay the regular price and get the Rock as a preorder bonus anyway. I don't care about the other stuff, and the fiver can stay in my pocket until they release some DLC.
|
Yeah, I didn't mind paying the $1 or whatever it was to get everything unlocked. Actually I think it came with the Axxess gimmick. I know they said they're working on it, but if they have it again, I'm downloading it the day I have the game.
|
I'm gonna give unlocking things a chance. They said Lesnar was unlocked in Universe mode so I think they might actually do some interesting things rather than just have Vince waddle put and ask if you forgot about your "other opponent".
|
Oh and some of the achievements have been leaked regarding RTWM. There's one for the VILLAN episode with a picture of Sheamus, one for the OUTSIDER episode with a picture of HHH and one for the HERO Episode with a shadowy picture.
Some people are speculating that it's just one big RTWM with different episodes because of that, but I doubt it. |
Nash is obviously in the "Outsider" RTWM.

<S class=hash>#</S>WWE12 Fans: News on Universe 2.0 and Road to WrestleMania modes will be coming out Tuesday next week. Stay tuned. 40 days until release!!! And I think either him or THQ Tank said Lesnars profile page should be open sometime today. |

Is Lesnar the last regular wrestler announced and everyone after will be DLC or do they still have some unannounced guys left for the regular roster of the game?
|
It'd be nice if they would finally implement a stadium. Not a big deal and I know it's a limitation thing, but a bigger arena for Mania would be pretty cool.
|
That wasn't a re-animated F5 was it?
|
Looks new.
|
Nope. No re-animated F-5
|
Quote:
Lesnar is the last in the game on release, the remaining 13 are all DLC along with Lawler. It was a semi-reanimated F-5. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/869H1Gc3JSQ?rel=0&hd=1" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> skip to 1 minute |
It looks like a combination of two of the old F5s.
|
Quote:
That's exactly what I've heard, one story, you start with Sheamus go to a certain point, play another guy so yeah, this seems to be more indication. |
That's definitely at least a slightly new F-5 looks way smoother and awesome then the old one.
|
It looks the same.

<font color=goldenrod>Can't wait to hear about Universe 2.0, could officially sell me a copy.</font>
