I had McNabb, TO, Jackson and Barber going Monday night so that game was very exciting for me to watch. I was eating up points left and right. Went from 55 to 130 overnight

ClockShot 09-16-2008 08:54 PM

Seahawks did some work today in the WR corps. They sign Koren Robinson to a one year deal today. They also aquire Keary Colbert from the Broncos. Word going around is that a 5th round pick is what Denver got in exchange with a shot at it being a 4th pending Colbert's performance.

Bob Sanders is out 4-6 weeks. WTF IS GOING ON HERE!

This is unreal. The Colts are snakebitten. How Manning won that game against the Vikings, i dont know. And i dont know how he's gunna win against the Jags. Only good news is Freeney has 2 sacks and looks great.

ESPN has something while he was out with an Ankle he was having his knee scoped?

that sucks, I still think he's over-rated as a cover guy, but I could watch hit lay people out all day.

Kris P Lettus 09-17-2008 01:04 PM

Saints cut Jason Craft..

:(

Gonzo 09-17-2008 02:52 PM

Frerotte has been named the starter in Minnesota as per ESPN.com.

ClockShot 09-17-2008 02:52 PM

Tarvaris Jackson lost his job after 2 weeks. Gus Frerotte is now the starter for the Vikings.

had they done that last week, they would have beat the Colts.

To the Vikings: Keep him away from cement walls.

Gonzo 09-18-2008 10:06 AM

God  I remember that game. I'm pretty sure it was against the Giants.

The Saints have signed quarterback Joey Harrington, and he was on the field Friday in Metairie for the Saints' practice.

To make room on the roster, the Saints released defensive tackle Alvin McKinley.

Harrington last played with the Atlanta Falcons in 2007 and completed 62 percent of his passes for 2,215 yards with seven touchdowns and eight interceptions.

He played four seasons with the Detroit Lions, being drafted by Detroit out of Oregon in 2002, and his best season was 2004 when he completed 56 percent of his passes for 3,047 yards and 19 touchdowns.

He spent the 2006 season with the Miami Dolphins.

Also, the early word on injuries from Friday's practice is that tight end Mark Campbell has a pulled hamstring.

More details to come.
This is fucking gay gay gay..

As I said when this was rumored a few weeks ago, it's ridiculous to use a roster spot for a QB who pretty much sucks just as bad as any other unsigned QB out there.. As of right now, we have the best 1-2 punch at QB in the NFL.. If Brees and Marky Bruns go down there's no way Joey Harrington would lead us into the Promise Land, so why do we need a former starter who has sucked for every single team he's played for when we def need the roster spot for depth at pretty much every position on defense??

Fucking stupid..

ClockShot 09-19-2008 03:58 PM

You better just throw him to the wolves this Sunday and end it all, Krispy.

Lions, Falcons, Dolphins, and now the Saints. Poor guy, better off just calling it a career being with this many teams in such a short career. No need to mention Culpepper, I know.

SammyG 09-19-2008 04:04 PM

RAMS GONNA BEAT THE HAWKS AND I WILL BE THERE

Kris P Lettus 09-19-2008 04:04 PM

GOD FORBID that Brees goes down, then Bruns, do they really thing Harrington would step up??

If Brees goes down the season will be pretty much shot, but Brunnell is a super solid back-up.. I just don't see why we need to carry a third QB after those two.. I mean if Brees and Bruns get hurt, we should then go after some unsigned QB, not now.. I bet Culpepper will still be sitting at home come December and he's 10 times the QB Harrington is..

Someone on my Saints message board said that they brought him in cause he's an INT machine so our secondary can work on picking the ball off more in practice..

lol

:(

Saints Head Coach Sean Payton said Harrington is a player the Saints have kept their eye on recently.

"Joey is a guy that we’ve kept our eye on and had in for a visit when we were in Indianapolis. Terrance Copper was our emergency third quarterback as we’ve been going into the games with just two. With Terrance out this week, we addressed that and felt like the timing was right in bringing Joey in here now. He’s a guy that we thought played pretty well for Atlanta last year on tape. He has ability. It’s a good opportunity for him to come in here under guys like (Drew) Brees and (Mark) Brunell, learn our system and for us to get a chance to develop and work with him. I think It’s a good fit."
I'd rather see Copper, who is a WR, in there instead of Harrington..

Mr. Monday Morning 09-21-2008 04:26 PM

Oh come on, nobody is watching this? Ronnie Brown is dicking the Pats

HeartBreakMan2k 09-21-2008 05:01 PM

Carolina :(

Was great seeing NE get butt raped by MIA though.

U-Warrior 09-21-2008 05:38 PM

Buffalo beats oakland 24-23, and takes first place in the east. So pumped right now.

Oakland played really good. Was able to punch through the offensive line and put a lot of pressure on Edwards, for the the first three quarters. That and some stupid maistakes by buffalo put them ahead of us for most of the game.

Last 10 minutes, the our offensive line finally stepped up and gave Edwards some time. And he fucking murdered oakland with it.

Sloppy playing by the bills in the first 3 quarters, but they played just well enough to stay in it, and finally came alive in the 4th.

FearedSanctity 09-21-2008 05:50 PM

Broncos rocking the alternates today!

Evil Vito 09-21-2008 06:06 PM

Giants  They looked sloppy at times, but definitely a hard fought win, could have gone either way. Fucking bye week next week tho. :(

I have Ronnie Brown on 2 fantasy teams and I didn't start him in either. I mean, I had absolutely no reason to, so I shouldn't be mad...but still.

FearedSanctity 09-21-2008 06:11 PM

Denver always has been horrible at playing with a lead :(

I thought Cincy really showed up today. They played well and seemed to get their offense going a bit. I thought Eli could have made some better throws on a selective handful of plays, but there were also 2-3 key drops where the pass was right in the bread basket. I'm not really worried about their performance as I think the farther the season goes on the more infrequent these issues will be.

Crimson 09-21-2008 06:25 PM

Good day of football today ..and my Cowboys have yet to play. Raiders defense looked sick ..if they can get any type of consistent offense look out.

KingofOldSchool 09-21-2008 08:21 PM

Woooo after 3 games the 49ers have a better record than the Colts.

Suck it bandwagon fans!

ClockShot 09-21-2008 08:24 PM

Whew. Fucking nail bitter over in Denver. Won that by pure luck.

But it's been a long time since I saw a INT rock a team. When Cutler threw that, the wheels came right off.

Hats off to your crew Krispy. I thought the Saints were over and done before halftime. But they went tooth and nail to the end.
