Yeah, they just did a Torre interview, he said he did consider pinch hitting Lofton for Clark in the 9th.

No, what's on 2nd...

oh yeah... Lowe v. Brown.

Anyway, shower and then hitting the local pub... GL may the better team win and not some bad call or stupid fan decide the game.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 10-20-2004 09:42 PM

That guy in the outfield last night was hilarious, Bellhorns HR hit him right off the chest lol

Yea I thought Clark was going to hit one out last night, I was like if this guy beats us I will go nuts. Maybe shit is changing, that would have been typical Red Sox right there, hopefully they win tonight. I am sick of shit being "typical" Red Sox, its time for a change...Why not now?

And about the fans calling in to complain, yea its pretty stupid since it happened at Fenway in '99. I bet back in 99 tho NY fans were calling in and ripping into Boston Fans. Its just the "haters cycle" you all know how that goes lol

Jesus Shuttlesworth 10-20-2004 09:42 PM

Just saw this in an away message:

Think the Sox can never win the World Series? You never thought the Pats could win the Superbowl either. You never thought a kid from French Lick could revolutionize the forward position. You never thought a defenseman could lead the league in scoring. You never thought the Sox, with Jim Rice injured for the playoffs, could make it all the way to game 7 against the big Red Machine. THEN, Vinatieri Split the Uprights, Larry Bird became a threetime MVP, Bobby Orr defined the way defensemen play and Pudge Willed it fair. You never think its possible, that's why you're not a Bostonian. So go watch your Knicks games, and drool over your millionaire Yankees, while reminiscing over the pathetic Jets' inconsistency, and call me in November

RoXer 10-20-2004 09:47 PM

LETS GET THIS SHOW ON THE ROAD!!

Jesus Shuttlesworth 10-20-2004 09:52 PM

Anybody else hear about Schilling's ankle? How the ankle tendon was stitched up so it couldn't move? Somebody said something to me about this, but I haven't heard about it on TV once. And I haven't had a chance to check the papers yet.

Gonzo 10-20-2004 09:56 PM

That has to hurt like a bitch. I saw a blood spot on his sock on Sportscenter I believe, had to be painful. Props for him sticking with it especially pitching 7 innings.

Heres to the Bo Sox. :y:

Dragon 10-20-2004 09:58 PM

2-0 Sox

Brown getting into big trouble early.

RoXer 10-20-2004 09:59 PM

wooooooooooooooo

Jerichoholic 10-20-2004 10:04 PM

Yeah, I heard the tendon was stiched to his skin or something, so it wouldn't move.

Also, Papi

John la Rock 10-20-2004 10:10 PM

ORTIZ

The Miz 10-20-2004 10:12 PM

lol @ Red Sox bandwagon jumpers

The Icon of Elisim 10-20-2004 10:18 PM

Well to be fair to bandwagon jumpers it sort of comes with being Yankee Haters

Buzzkill 10-20-2004 10:18 PM

I wouldnt call them bandwagon jumpers...I've always been a Red Sox fan, but never cared much til they got until the play offs.

RoXer 10-20-2004 10:26 PM

You're either a Red Sox fan or a Yankees fan. You can not be both.

I am a Red Sox fan.

Dragon 10-20-2004 10:30 PM

Damn.

6-0 Sox in the 2nd inning.

HeartBreakMan2k 10-20-2004 10:30 PM

Grand slam  I haven't been this into baseball since I was like 13 playing AAU. This is the only series that has caught my interest and this one is reviving my interest. Don't really give a shit who wins. *This is the only series I've watched period since I was 13, I don't have any favs.*

Evil Vito 10-20-2004 10:31 PM

Yeah, but as far as AL teams go, the Sox have always been my favorites, and so I'm hoping they can pull out the victory.

The Icon of Elisim 10-20-2004 10:35 PM

Someone wanna tell Joe Buck its still the 2nd inning.

BabyHugger 10-20-2004 10:37 PM

HAHAHAHAHAHA YANKEES

Gonzo 10-20-2004 10:38 PM

I'm a Mets fan, I hardly follow baseball. I hate the Yankees, just because I root for a team doesn't mean I am a bandwagon fan. That would be sticking to them if they won the Series or something. Without someone to root for it gets boring.

John la Rock 10-20-2004 10:40 PM

DAMON

fuck 6-0 but it's not even close to being over

el fregadero 10-20-2004 10:40 PM

I remember telling my friend Damon was gonna do something big tonight. Didn't think it would be a grand slam though. :o

Jesus Shuttlesworth 10-20-2004 10:41 PM

I dont think people are "bandwagoning" really, I just think when you only have 2 teams left in the American League you are going to pull for somebody

Otherwise its boring, like in the NLCS I am pulling for Houston right now. I am not an Astros fan at all, but I am just pulling for them for some reason.

John la Rock 10-20-2004 10:41 PM

fuck I could have sworn after the 3rd game that the Yanks would win in 4. thank god the Red Sox took their heads out of their asses. and turned it into a series

Savio 10-20-2004 10:43 PM

O........M.........G

Rain Man 10-20-2004 10:50 PM

BCWWF 10-20-2004 11:11 PM

Sorry I'm late...Nice 6-1 keep it up! This will be priceless! The New York Post will have a field day!!!! 8-1!!!!!! THEY JUST HOMERED!

Going with something up there before, I am surprised Lofton doesn't play, either for Bernie or Sierra or DH or what.

Evil Vito 10-20-2004 11:12 PM
