I thought you would be on the same setup as me, seeing as how I am really not far from Philly. Are only the Eagles on for you at 4?

I had Pitt/Tenn on cbs at 1, and Pats/Cards on Fox at 1.

Yeah Chargers.

Fucking fuckers.

FearedSanctity 12-21-2008 05:49 PM

Time to update the list...

RBs since the season started:
<strike>Michael Pittman
Anthony Aldridge
Andre Hall
Ryan Torain
Peyton Hillis
</strike><strike>PJ Pope
Spencer Larsen</strike>
Tatum Bell
Selvin Young

FearedSanctity 12-21-2008 05:51 PM

Oh no, we're at the dreaded 10 point mark :'(

ClockShot 12-21-2008 06:44 PM

DAMMIT.

San Diego HAD to solve the NFC South puzzle today.

If Denver goes down today, they might as well choke it the rest of the way.

yeah, that occurred to me earlier. so need a jets loss today and a jets win next week and a pats win next week.

no idea how the tie breaker works out on the wild card.

Team Sheep 12-21-2008 06:47 PM

Jesus Christ Jets. What the hell's happened since we beat the Titans?!

McLegend 12-21-2008 07:08 PM

Westbrook has to be a hero.

ClockShot 12-21-2008 07:21 PM

Scheff, Graham, and Stokley finally showed up.

Nervous Ferret 12-21-2008 07:24 PM

Is it bad that with the Jets down 7 I think we have a better chance to tie the game everytime Seneca Wallace drops back as opposed to Favre? :(

VonErichLives 12-21-2008 07:40 PM

GO SEACHICKENS!!!!!

McLegend 12-21-2008 07:44 PM

FUCK THIS GAME.

ClockShot 12-21-2008 07:45 PM

The story of Brett Favre's life happens again.

IC Champion 12-21-2008 07:46 PM

And thats what Mangini was a coordinator.

ClockShot 12-21-2008 07:48 PM

C'MON DENVER!

IC Champion 12-21-2008 07:48 PM

Id like to SD get in, they don't deserve it, but neither does Denver

Team Sheep 12-21-2008 07:51 PM

Pfft

ClockShot 12-21-2008 07:58 PM

FUCK YOU, CBS. PUT THE GAME BACK ON! I DON'T GIVE A SHIT ABOUT 60 FUCKING MINUTES!

FearedSanctity 12-21-2008 08:11 PM

Can't say I didn't see this coming....

IC Champion 12-21-2008 08:12 PM

Calm down, it's on like 6 other channels in Canada alone.

ClockShot 12-21-2008 08:13 PM

Yup.

Next week we head to the border to settle this. Right now, time to turn up the heat on a few chairs.

IC Champion 12-21-2008 08:13 PM

Wow, Vikings just got fucked, that was a terrible no call. The DB held the recievers hand.

IC Champion 12-21-2008 08:15 PM

I have never been happier to see the redskins win.

McLegend 12-21-2008 08:19 PM

Wow I hope Andy Reid gets fired.

FearedSanctity 12-21-2008 08:20 PM

I can think of only one chair that I'd imagine is hot as hell. Defensive coord. Shanahan should get some heat and Jeremy Bates should get some heat (shit offensive play calling at times) but Slowik's defense has always been the constant negative.

I mean, come on, kinda hard to cover the pass when all CBs are atleast 10 yards off their man and the safteties are so far away they're irrelevant. And that's the coverage we're playing atleast 90% of the time. Pointless

Heros Welcome 12-21-2008 08:21 PM

DIRTY BIRDS BABY!!!!

IC Champion 12-21-2008 08:22 PM

SD could make the playoffs, LOL.

How many D coordinators has Shanahan PERSONALLY hired & fired? He deserves just as much (dis)credit for the mess Denver has been in the last few years.

FearedSanctity 12-21-2008 08:31 PM

I know. But it really seems as if Shanny can do no wrong in Bowlen's eyes, so firing him isn't really a consideration. All we can really do is keep hiring and firing DCs until either someone gets it, or Bowlen sees the real problem.

He needs to be.

You've got one of the leauge's hottest running backs in your offensive lineup. It's 3rd and 1. Why the fuck would you pass when you're QB has been wildly inconsitant all season? Why I ask you?

Too bad the Falcons won today which knocks the Skins out of Playoff contention but hey....I guess we can just fuck up everyone else up with a win next week.

Triple A 12-21-2008 09:06 PM

I hate everything about football

Boomer 12-21-2008 11:09 PM

Didn't get to watch more than the blowout that was the Pats game.

I did get to see the last minute of the Falcons game. I got chills. It really does mean everything to everyone who loves football down here. To come back after everything...just wow.

The game of next week is definitely Denver and Sand Diego. Will be sick.

Evil Vito 12-22-2008 12:37 AM

<font color=goldenrod>HOLY SHIT, WHAT A GAME</font>

DaveWadding 12-22-2008 12:37 AM

Derrick Ward. Jesus.

Boomer 12-22-2008 12:42 AM

Holy fucking shittttt. I can't believe today.

The Falcons can win the fucking division. I can't believe this shit. I'm cussing like crazy.

We beat StL, then the Saints beat the Panthers. It's that simple. Wow.

And need we not forget the current home record of NFC South teams playing in the division this year (11-0).

With the Saints playing at home, I'm calling Who Dat all week.

I was looking forward to your update. I figured it was coming.

Supreme Olajuwon 12-23-2008 02:47 PM

Man Green Bay has to be one of the best 6-10 teams I've ever seen. They're going to get a top 10 draft pick this year and they are going to be legitimate contenders next season.

Mr. Monday Morning 12-23-2008 06:23 PM

They get an extra pick from the Jets too. Probably only a 3rd rounder at this point, unless they make the playoffs.

HeartBreakMan2k 12-23-2008 07:58 PM

Fuck the Giants btw

James Steele 12-24-2008 01:00 PM

I can't wait until the Cowboys bitchslap the Giants back into reality.

OssMan 12-24-2008 11:32 PM

LOL hey remember that time the Giants beat the Cowboys when it mattered and then won the superbowl

Shut Up You Ignorant Ass

Supreme Olajuwon 12-24-2008 11:51 PM

Dallas might be better off worrying about the 2 or 3 games they have to win before they even get to play the Giants.

James Steele 12-25-2008 12:25 AM

If Jerry Jones would quit being a fucking douche, Parcells would have won a SuperBowl last year and I wouldn't have to hear about how Eli is as good as his brother.

AssMan, that was what I was referring to. I think the Cowboys will pay the Giants back. Also, I quit using that line years ago you dipshit.

Gonzo 12-25-2008 09:44 AM

lol stfu

Innovator 12-25-2008 11:10 AM

What

James Steele 12-26-2008 02:52 AM

Jerry Jones needs to quit acting like he is a coach. Bill Parcells had discipline and wanted to run the team the way he saw fit, but Jerry wants a little pussy bitch like Wade he can manipulate. We won SuperBowls with crack dealers, but we can't win a superbowl with a bunch of fucking prettyboys. We have turned into the fucking Yankees.

Vastardikai 12-26-2008 03:11 AM

Wes Welker got fined by the league for the Snow Angel during NE's 47-7 slaughter of Arizona.

I normally hate the Patriots and give them all the shit in the world, but come on. I think TD celebrations, as long as they're not done in the spirit of bad sportsmanship, should be allowed. I thought the Snow Angel was pretty cool.

SammyG 12-26-2008 05:42 AM

COMPLETELY agree, MAD bullshit that he got fined.

Triple A 12-26-2008 05:43 AM

Real glad the Patriots game is at 1 and the Jets/Dolphins is at 4. If the Patriots win I am just gonna root for the Jets to lose. :'( Rather have the Dolphins and Pennington in the playoffs.

RP 12-26-2008 08:15 AM

The only game i'm paying attention to this week is Chargers vs Broncos. If the Broncs fuck this up ... things will happen. Not really.

If the Pats win and the Jets win and the Ravens lose...

don't the Jets get the Wild Card?

or would it be the Ravens?

VonErichLives 12-26-2008 02:05 PM

ok, just looked and yes.

If the Pats win and the Jets win and the Ravens lose, the Jets get the WC and Travel to NE week 1 of the playoffs.

DAMN iNATOR 12-26-2008 02:39 PM

Odds for result of Det v. G.B.:

-Lions personnel refuse to show up, forfeiting their way to 0-16: 2-1
-Pack squash Detroit like everyone else this season: 50-1
-Detroit scores game-winning safety with :01 left in game: OFF

Team Sheep 12-26-2008 10:14 PM

The Jets need to beat the Dolphins and hope that either the Patriots lose to the Bills or the Ravens lose to the Jaguars. Not looking too promising.

DrA 12-26-2008 10:18 PM

What has happened to my Detroit Lions

RP 12-27-2008 09:47 AM

Look

I think Wes Welker is a fucking prick for sho, but that fine is the most ridiculous thing ever. I remember people doing that like every year. Didnt Steve Smith do that last year? Thats a joke. Welker got robbed. I wont lose any sleep over it, but he got robbed.

I see Giants VS Steelers in the Superbowl. I called it at the beginning of the season, however I would love to see my favorite team THE COLTS against the Giants.

Boomer 12-28-2008 05:35 PM

Yeah, awful. Jackson was amazing today though. That play where he caught a shitty Bulger pass one handed, then hurdled that cornerback was tremendous

IC Champion 12-28-2008 07:29 PM

IC Champion 12-28-2008 07:29 PM

I hope not, though it's more Jason Garrett and the offenses fault more than anything. Though the defense hasn't looked good the last couple weeks.
