Feel like either something is wrong with Roman or hes going to Hollywood now. Orton getting hurt couldn't have come at worse time. I'd rather him be the transitional champ than Brock winning and then losing one of the titles to Drew the next month.

From what it sounds like, Vince probably just used this as a way to get people's attention and tune in for ratings. This is why you can't knock the guy's hustle, he sees the money to be made in everything

Get people’s attention at the top of the show, follow it up with Baron Corbin vs. Madcap Moss, and New Day vs. Mahal/Shanky. Good shit, pal.

I’d rather see Brock and Roman again than anything from AEW ever. It’s just a shame WWE is such a distant #2.

Shame that WWE doesn't really have any credible opponents for Roman except for Brock Lesnar.

They’ve got Drew set for Clash at the Castle. I’m pretty sure Drew will be taking the belts there. I think he’ll drop them back to Roman, but Brock is a good recalibration opponent for Reigns. SummerSlam will remind people of where Roman is at so he can head into the big match with Drew.

Love Brock vs Roman. Think I missed the first couple matches of them. First one I watched was the one where Rollins cashed.

I read they’re going towards Corbin and McAfee. That’s good news. That was on my planned Money in the Bank card.

I would have had Nakamura & McIntyre beat The Usos to bar them from ringside and earn a title shot at Money in the Bank. I’d then have had Zayn face Ricochet in a MITB qualifier and fake an injury to forfeit. Reigns has to go into the main event alone, but Zayn reveals he was feigning and costs Riddle. Zayn vs. Riddle is added to MITB. It looks like Moss is going to win the Ladder Match when Zayn screws him out of it and helps Owens win. Owens goes to pay. Zayn back but Moss cancels him out.

Zayn gets to play with the drama of whose side he’s really on. Moss crosses paths with Owens a few times, including the Rumble. At Mania he gets Owens in a one-on-one Ladder Match for the briefcase with the time on it resetting.

Oh. I thought there was more. I seen that one and their last one. Thought there was one before Rollins cashing in.

You might be thinking of the other one they had at Mania a few years later (2018?).

My Money in the Bank card would have been:

* Becky Lynch vs. Asuka vs. Liv Morgan vs. Shayna Baszler vs. Bayley vs. Charlotte Flair (if she’s cleared or whatever, haven’t been following that)
* The Usos vs. Drew McIntyre & Shinsuke Nakamura
* The Miz vs. Rey Mysterio

That would have been a pretty sick card. Ripley would win the Raw Women’s Title. Rey would beat The Miz with help from Logan Paul. Drew & Shin become the Tag Champs. If Charlotte is in MITB, I guess she can win that. Bayley makes sense too. Lashley wins the US Title after he gets the thumbs up from John Cena. Otis defeats Woods and becomes “King Otis.” I’m aware Woods isn’t doing the gimmick. McAfee beats Corbin with Moss’ training. Owens wins MITB with Zayn’s help. Ronda pins Nattie when she goes for the Sharpshooter too many times. Edge & Styles can’t get themselves on the same page enough to trump JD. Riddle wins the main event against Zayn when Owens is blocked by Moss. Show closes with “Voices” playing and focus is kind of split between Riddle and Moss.

Listen, if this wouldn’t have sent a football stadium full of people home wanting more, I don’t know what would have.

Bayley definitely needs to make her return in the Women’s ladder match. She doesn’t need to win, as she’s already a top star in the division, but being the foil to whoever does could be interesting. Then you slowly build her up to a feud with Ronda on SD, maybe put her over at a couple PPV’s and maybe Bayley wins the Blue brand’s Womeen’s Championship again at like Survivor Series or the show after.

Sorry if that was a wall of text but we were sold 9 months as a timeline for her to be out, and if she isn’t back by mid next month it will be a full year. Makes me wonder if A.) Her injury is more severe and taking more time to heal than first thought or B.) There’s something more personal/private going on with her. Maybe she caught wind of the recent revelations about Vince and doesn’t want to return in an environment like that. Don’t know. It’s both concerning and a little frustrating simultaneously.

I like having matches where people want to just win to win. You shouldn't need something for winning every match.

I agree. I'm still with the idea of wrestling being kayfabed as a competitive sport.

It’s incredibly random to do a battle royal where you win…nothing, then a multi man match later in the night with some of the same guys with something on the line. It’s not the winning a match for winnings sake, I’m down with that. I guess you could say the fact that Corbin won the bigger match and Moss won the smaller one with higher stakes adds to their rivalry, but that’s wrapped up now.

Also, they did a Last Chance battle royal on Raw, then 4 days later there was another spot on the line…

Yeah a battle royal dies usually have some sort of meaning behind it...I do find that kind of odd but I didn't watch the show so I don't know if it fits into a storyline or anything
