At the most recent PPV, Turning Point I think, I took a good look at Christian. After staring at him for several minutes the sight of him holding the NWA World Heavyweight Championship made me sick. At that moment I officially declared Christian my enemy.

I'm so conflicted. Destor, the greatest wrestler in the world, is displeased with Christian, one of the only semi-entertaining wrestlers on TV....WHY DO MOMMY AND DADDY ALWATS FIGHT???

More like death to Destor, anyone who hates on Christian deserves to die, unless you support HBK, in which case you deserve to live for aslong as you wish.

I support HBK. But that is beside the point. Christian should be destoryed. He is in no way in the league of his predicessors whom have held that title before him. That is the single greatest title of all time. And it is held by Christian Cage. A life-time jobber in the WWE. A man who cried after loosing to DDP at the biggest Wrestle Mania of in recent memeory. That is the man who can now be spoken of in the same breath as Dusty Rhodes, Harely Race, Terry Funk, and Ric Flair. Yeah, he needs to exit the human race.

I agree he is no where near worthy being mentioned with the likes of whom you listed, but remember that title in all it's glory (and it is the single greatest title in wrestling history) has also been held by Abyss, Rhino, AJ Styles, Ron Killings (though his reigns wern't terrible), Mike Rapada (who I like...but COME ON), Sabu, Candido, Steele, we had Douglas throw it down, and even in it's hayday Tommy Rich held it...

If your plan of telling me this isn't the first travesty to happen to this title is expected to make me any less offended about the current insult of a champion that is Christian Cage then you sir are wrong. WHile he may not be the first (or even the only thing in recent memory) that has shamed this title I am still sicken by the meer thought of him touching that belt, let alone wearing around his waist.

Well Mr. Destor, if you were TNA, who would you have as their Champion? Sting and Angle are really the only two people on their roster currently (besides his holyness The Nash) who are historically important enough to hold the belt and be mentioned amoung the greats. And Sting doesn't make a good champion (never has) and Angle simply isn't distanced enough from WWE to make it mean anything. WHAT CAN BE DONE?

The one wins this argument. Christian > everyone else in TNA except Angle.

I stick with Sting or Angle. That or they should vacate the title title until they get a better option. That way they don't offend me with their Christian Cage-like title reigns.

In all seriousness Sting is the only logical option right now. He's over, he's reconizable, he's credible. How he isn't the champion I have no idea. How is Chrstian (a man the desired audience [WWE marks] have seen job to the biggest jobbers for a full decade) expect to add credibility to your compnay or that title?

If not Sting or Angle then it should be someone the audience has never heard of outside TNA (thats why you never saw me talk shit about Abyss.) That way they can't (for example) Cena is > CHristian. Who's > AByss? WWE don't know cause they've never seen it.

The WWE has proven that apile of poop > Christian. And then they give him the title. Have Have him job to the pile of poop. AJ would look good with the gold on.

Holding that belt up to such a standard doesn't make sense to me anyways. For all intents and purposes, its the TNA belt. Wheres the outcry for Abyss holding it? Christians as worthy as anyone in the industry today to be holding a world title.
Its not like that belt took a drop when Christian held it, it's been all over the place and a joke since the end of the 80s.

Hell no to sting, if Sting became champ i wouldn't even give TNA a chance, and while he was champ, I didn't.

AJ never looks good. He's always too busy sucking off frat boys to get a good picture.

If I agree to your argument, I would say Chris Daniels is TNA's only real option then. Sting simply is not a good Champion. GREAT draw and wrestler, not the guy you want your belt on.

Chrisitan as champion is good enough for me. I know what you're saying with credibility and how he was in WWE. But I think you exaggerate it. He was built up so big as a member of E&C, he went on to a great singles career from the get go and was an Intercontinental champion. Fueded with former World Champions, was getting super over and towards the end of his run was challenged for the WWE Championship.

Yes he was buried and jobbed out in the end, but that doesn't change how qualified and over he is. As well as how much more established and decorated he is than 85% of the TNA roster.

As much as I dislike Christian as champ, thinking of the other options doesn't make me feel any better.

Obviously not...too bad that's not what they have. What they have is a belt that allows them to say CHristian is in the league of the men I mentioned a few posts back. TNA opened this door. If TNA is going to act like they are at this level, then I will hold them to that standard. It's what they want.

Destor, you're complaining about a title that has had its history fucked over by JJ, surely JJ is the one who's destroyed any credibility it ever had? Christian is restoring it imo, just cause he was misused in WWE doesn't mean anything.

Jeff Jarrett has tons of credibility. ANd how he was used in the WWE doees indeed matter.

Yeah he has so much credibility, its very credible to be a booker of a company and book yourself at the top as the champ for 4 years or however long it was while not letting anyone else get over during that time.
