I still think this will end up being a "next gen" game. MS will reveal the next Xbox in April (they're supposed to be having a Sony style conference, if I recall) and then R* will reveal that GTA V is actually headed to PS4 and Xbox3.

I'm sure it can be used. I don't recall R* using something in a screenshot that you couldn't actually use in their game.
Also, did anyone notices the CCTV camera to the left of the telephone pole in the last screenshot? Maybe places will have actual security systems? This might mean cops don't magically know you killed someone and magically know where you are. So maybe a witness needs to inform them or CCTV has to catch it. Though, I admit, I may be reading too much into it. |
There was supposed to be something in GTAIV about witnesses using their cell phones to call in rampages you go on. It was in the Microsoft Retail Rewards class. Didn't really notice it during the game.

I don't see anything in GTAV that's beyond PS3 and XB360. It looks amazing, yes, but not 'welcome to the fucking future' amazing. Everything I've seen of the game is well within the current gen's scope.

Mmmm I think they'll do a next gen version. It'll be able to play fine on a PS3 or 360. But after looking at the difference between playing PC games on Ultra and then seeing 360 versions. It's ridiculous.
