Jesus christ, are you thick?

OssMan 02-18-2011 09:14 PM

What are you trying to say

El Fangel 02-18-2011 09:16 PM

Oh my god, a friend sent that to me as an msn message. I copied the message and then wrapped it in quote tags.

Is it that fucking hard to understand?

OssMan 02-18-2011 09:25 PM

So you claim

*facepalm*

El Fangel 02-18-2011 10:11 PM

Did Brian Burke blackmail everyone in the league? Jesus. 2 excellent trades in a row for Moronto.

I bet they waste both 1st rounders on career AHLers like usual though.

Emperor Smeat 02-18-2011 11:20 PM

Bruins start their 6 game road trip (5 in Canada) with 2 wins but the amazing part is how the defense and Rask is playing great when the week before Bruins lost 3 in a row while giving up a ton of goals (regular and PP).

The trade involving Wheeler has been in the making for maybe a year or two since the Bruins wanted to trade him last year but no good offers.

Stuart unfortunately barely played much this year due to injury and then had the misfortune of his replacement and rookies playing soo well that he lost his spot. Bruins had no choice but to trade him while he still had some value.

Thoughts?

I say the opposite.

Gertner 02-19-2011 10:01 PM

Rosehill and Lessard just had an insane fight.

Lara Emily 02-21-2011 05:45 PM

Whooooooooo

James Neal and Matt Niskanen to the Penguins in exchange for just Alex Goligoski

Fucking sweet deal for the Pens

http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=354819

El Fangel 02-21-2011 07:21 PM

Dallas needs a PP quarterback far worse then a goal scoring forward. Nice trade for both.

Watch Neal fall flat on his face though. Such is the life of a winger on Pittsburgh.

El Fangel 02-21-2011 09:11 PM

Nicklas Lidstrom

I was just looking over his stats

It seems that 38 points (a good total for a defenseman to begin with) was his career (95% of season or more)low.

My god, look at this. Its insane.

JimmyMess 02-21-2011 09:27 PM

So Leafs are shopping for a solid D-Man eh?

Who do they have left to deal with though? Burke said Schenn is not on the trade block, but he's said shit like that before.

Is Clarke McCarthur a one-season pony? Get something for him while the getting is good?

El Fangel 02-21-2011 09:40 PM

Trade Kessel for Tyler Seguin?

JimmyMess 02-21-2011 09:48 PM

I think the league sees Kessel as damaged goods.... which is sad, just needs a decent playmaker...

 no way the Bruins would do that trade although they've done questionable and dumb trades in the past.

I think Sequin is averaging a point (either as a goal or an assist) once every 2-3 games he plays which is great compared to them thinking his first year would be minimal NHL play but pure development.

Bruins still have Toronto's 1st round pick (potential 5-10 range) since all they gave up was their own 1st round pick (potential 23-30 range) in the last trade.

Gertner 02-22-2011 03:43 PM

Leafs have apparently been in talks for J.M Liles, but Colorado's asking price is ridiculous.

Seguin has 10 goals and 11 assists in 55 games.

One good year warrants a high price? Christ talk to Phoenix. They have Aucoin, Yandle, Jovocop, Ekman-Larssen and Im sure they could trade one of them.

22/55 = 0.4

Which means...a goal or assist...every 2 or 3 games...

Not saying thats great, its decent. But in short, Meatnuts was right.

Corndad 02-22-2011 08:57 PM

FA LOL Wrong Forum dude. I'm waiting on Damian to cut a promo on Crosby now or something lol

El Fangel 02-22-2011 09:10 PM

Thats where that fucking promo went. I knew I posted it.

El Fangel 02-23-2011 09:58 PM

Wow, Tampa up 7-0 and not even half done.

Vinny has 1G 4A already.

LoDownM 02-23-2011 10:01 PM

So much for 9 in a row.

Gertner 02-23-2011 10:10 PM

When Tampa is on, man are they tough. They just need a bit more grit and they are pretty dangerous.

KleptoKlown 02-23-2011 10:18 PM

If Tampa is on a hot streak come playoff time...they win the east.

Imagine if Gagne gets going...

JimmyMess 02-23-2011 10:35 PM

Philadelphia is beast though.

Gertner 02-23-2011 10:37 PM

Not with that goaltending.

KleptoKlown 02-23-2011 10:56 PM

Depends if Bobkov is on a contract year or not.

Everyone should know Russians play there best hockey during the year of contract negotiations.

Goaltending is also Tampa's biggest issue...but come playoffs, I'll take Roloson over Bobkov.

Philly has a great team, but I personally think they're overachieving. As far as the playoffs in the East go, I'd take Boston, Tampa or a healthy Penguins over the Flyers any day.

Lara Emily 02-23-2011 11:12 PM

DOn't worry about a healthy Pens team anytime soon, Orpik just went down.

So that's

Crosby
Malkin
Kunitz
Letestu
Jeffery
Asham
Orpik
Martin
Nick Johnson
Tangradi
Comrie

All out due to injuries

+ Godard out cause of suspension

Malkin is done for the year, I'm quite scared Crosby won't be back, Staal is fucking worthless

KleptoKlown 02-23-2011 11:42 PM

Staal has been worthless eh?

Thats been the biggest shock to me. I've always thought he was under used with the Pens. He is way better than a 3rd line center/PK'er...and all he needed was the chance to show his true worth. He's had that chance, and hasn't really done much with it.

I mean...I havent watched every Pens game...but from what I have seen, Jordan is looking like the 3rd wheel in the brotherly triangle.

KleptoKlown 02-23-2011 11:43 PM

Mind you, Jordan is facing the same issue as Crosby and Malkin....no decent wingers...

He had James Neal tonight, Neal was a fucking beast all night but Staal still sucked lol.

I wish they Pens would shop him, the Hockey Media is so in love with that dude that I figure some GM would be stupid enough to buy the hype and pay big. I mean fuck Shero was able to get James Neal and Niskanen for Goligoski (Niskanen's not much right now but he's still young and Neal is a fucking beast)

KleptoKlown 02-24-2011 01:27 AM

I'd prefer the Pens shop Malkin...they'd get a better return. Jordan is more of a Jere Lehetin type player, cant really compare him to Eric Staal. He'd fit in on the 2nd line, can kill opposing teams PPs. He's not a #1 guy, or #1 center...maybe he would be on the Leafs or whatever other bottom feeders, but on a contending team he will due on the 2nd line, and is perfect for the 3rd line. Hardly "fucking worthless"

Nah fuck that any Malkin trade is a loss cause you're giving up the best player. Pens had best PK without Staal in the lineup and like I said he has an unearned reputation of being a good player, so I think you could get a team to give a decent return.

weather vane 02-24-2011 02:00 AM

BRUINS

LoDownM 02-24-2011 02:28 PM

Kovalev is a Penguin again.
