for anyone who has SVR07 for PS2:

does your game lag and slow down considerably when using 6 guys in the ring at once. whenever i do a 3 way tornado tag or armageddon hell in a cell my guy moves slowly and the whole match sucks. the ps2 seemingly cant handle 6 characters at once? elimination chamber however gives me no problem or any other type of match.

is ths just my ps2 starting to break down?

I remember in 06 there would be slowdown in six man matches (especially in the Cell and Elimination Chamber), so it wouldn't surprise me.

It happens. My guess after looking at the PS2 version is that it was unfinished.

I was doing a 6 man battle royal last night. Came down to me as the Boogeyman, Lashley, and Angle. Angle had one finisher stored. Lashley pins Angle, and I'm waiting on the top turnbuckle. Just when he turns around I go for a double axehandle, he reverses it by kicking me in the gut, nice feature, then when Kurt dissapeared due to elimination, he just appears for a second and gives me an Angle Slam. Then Lashley beats me a minute later. Has that happened to anyone else?

Kurt has developed the ability to teleport so they included that feature.

BTW, is anyone else having a bitch of a time with the Special Tester challenge? I must've lost like 30 times trying to clear it.

All I did to beat the challenge was to change Mickie's finishers to Pedigree 2 for the L1 finisher and RKO for the < & L1 finisher, and set Khali's finishers to Candice's...oh, btw, YOU'RE WELCOME.:y:

Yeah, that was gonna be my next gameplan but I'm stubborn that way in the sense that I like defying the odds. :o

Has anyone gotten the running grapple glitch finisher glitch to work, apparantly there's way to hit running grapples (spear espcially I think) on guys who are in mid animation like I guess in mid UCM or something, I can't get it to work at all, dunno if it's supposed to be done using a finisher or what though.

LMAO nevermind got it, heh best I speared Snitsky whole he was holding Holly in a fallaway slam position, Holly stayed floating in the ring and I pinned Snitsky.

Fucking Eh even better, HHH pedigrees Masters just before the animation ends (ie a split second before Masters hits the mat face first) I spear HHH, Masters ges full pedigree damage and is out HHH gets full damage from my finisher and I pin HHH

I've cleared everything. I no longer have any use for this game.

Has anyone ever had a smooth game online? The lag is not fun at all, especially in multiplayer.

I get more smooth games than not. The time it takes buttons to register is a pain, but usually I get smooth games, unless I'm playing from someone in the UK or something.

Me and disturbed get very smooth games :D

What are the new games for the online mode. I have dial-up and it will be a treasure trail finding it.

Elimination Chamber? Sounds sweet. On 06 the FUNNIEST thing happened to me. Someone had a CAW Brock Lesnar as ref an a last man standing. I chaired him on accident and they both whooped me ass.

The commentary is so out there it's funny. I was playing as Kane one time and took out my opponent with a chokeslam. Now this is the part where the announcers call the finisher right? Well....

King: Uh-oh, what's this gonna be?
JR: Isn't it obvious, King? It's the Crippler Crossface
Me: Pfffffffffffffffffffft....:rofl:

I never got this one (not exact, but...):

JR: You know King, you can fool all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but there's no fooling the WWE fans at all.

Even in scripted dialog JR makes no sense.

Had that loads of times, and it doesn't make anymore sense the more times you listen to it.

Is there an outsider\razors edge in the game? Looked through most of the moves and can't find one for my scott hall caw, only ones that come close is the ultimate control variation, and some other weird looking powerbomb variation that ends in a pin. :(

I think I remember seeing it classed as a running powerbomb of sorts, not 100% though

Has anyone else had this problem on PS2 version...?
 

Here's what I'm talking about...I did a title match as a Special Referee Match, and choose one of my CAW's as the ref, and just used 2 characters already in the game - Vito v. Helms for the CW Championship of the World @ SmackDown!, and when it came time for the loading screen before the ref holds up the belt, it just froze on me...is there any way around this that anyone knows of?

Well, I finally beat the MITB Ladder Match on Legend difficulty, BUT...
 

It said it gave me the trophy, the ECW One Night Stand II Arena, which I got both, as well as the collectible "RVD's Money In The Bank" (with the decoration on RVD's briefcase), but when I went to my Locker Room to use it as a decoration, it came up as locked, so I was just wondering do I need to buy it off WWE Shop in the game first or what?

It's not available for purchase until you meet the requirements so I don't know what you could be missing. Check the Shop to see if it's become available for purchase because items don't get added to the locker room menu until you've bought them.

On a somewhat related note I remember unlocking everything, clearing all the challenges and what have you but still noticing tons of stuff that was locked in the locker room. It turns out there are some tabs in the Shop where you can scroll down. :o

All it was was just the matter of going into WWE Shop and buying it for $2,000. Now I have it displayed on the bar table in my locker room.:y:

Also, another observation.

Since the default face is basically Cena, more than 75% of every created wrestlers I come across look like the bastard children of Cena.

I wish I could be a bastard child of Cena.

I believe that was Just Bring It and yes I agree. Ever switched around the finishers on the wrestlers and then in the game you hear stuff like, "Man, I heard ---Lita--- has a wicked ---Stone Cold Stunner--..." Good times.

Mine's got RVD's case and Boogeyman's alarm clock on the counter. The Steveweisers obviously belong at the bar. A Mickie James trinket is either on the wall or in a corner. Still need to unlock Stone Cold and Mr Perfect. What is the best way to get in the Royal Rumble in season mode to unlock Austin? And what is the quickest way to get to Backlash to get Perfect to?

Need them both to try and get through these challenges, let me know if any of you know the easiest way to get it done!

Start the season on the SmackDown! roster. Don't challenge for the title whenever you get offered a shot. Wait for January to come around and you'll get the Rumble storyline. As for Backlash, you'll have to come off a WrestleMania win and then get traded to Raw.

LOL i was playing a season with Randy Orton. I got elimanted from the Rumble so i decided to watch. Final 4 was Undertaker, HBK, Chris Benoit ( came in 9th ) and Big Vito. Vito elimanted all 3 of them LOL.

The highlight of the Rumble was when Khali came in, cleared the ring ( 5 guys ) then 5 minutes later, cleared the whole ring again ( 5 guys ). He Khali chopped like 5 of them. It was fantastic.


My favorite thing in the whole game is when i got an email from Kennedy. I was real high listening to it. He ended it with MISTAAAAAAA Kennnnnnedy! And that was it. I started wondering why he didnt add the Kennnedy on the end. I go back to the voice mail and theres another one from Kennedy and it says " Kennnnnnneeeeedyyyyyy " :lol:


I thought that was hilarious

I just had an awesome 30+ minute TLC match with RVD versus my James Steele CAW. I lost in the end, but a 5-Star Frog Splash off the ladder through a table was sweet as hell.
