A Dance with Dragons will astound and begin to enlighten you my friend.

A Feast for Crows may seem a bit sluggish though as it runs in adjacent timeline with A Dance with Dragons but focuses on different characters.. The better characters/stories seem to happen in a Dance with Dragons.

good that you're back to reclaim this throne of a thread. I had to tell myself that they have to fit a lot of the book into these episodes, these last few eps are the first ones I have read ahead of and it adds a totally new joy to my viewing. The show feels condensed, but in a good way. When Peter and Sansa were on their way to the Vale(sp?) it was way longer and had an added stop to it, but I loved the way all those guards had arrows ready to fire if someone were to fart on their way past the Bloody Gate/Vale

Cersei spent all last night hinting at a Face turn. I dont buy it. Going to end up turning on Margaery like the Horseman on Sting.

Also - Not a book reader so dont spoil this at all for me, but I really want to get behind Tommen and Ser Pounce. Really hope he ends up as a force as king. Im sure it will take a years of being told what to do by Tywin and Cersei but when he finally says "NO" and drops stunners on 20-30 people in the Royal Court it is going to be epic.

Also, Brans story is actually getting a bit better. its still a wee bit annoying but they are doing a good job with his Misfits in Action to make me care about their struggle and end goal. Could be the kind of long term booking that makes money.

Yeah, honestly had some trouble making it through the fourth book. Dance with Dragons was pretty great though.

Lastly, I love that Jon Snow wins after the ref gets distracted and Crastors wife can hit Karl with the Megaphone.

Got back to the US and caught up with Season 2. I will be amazingly pissed off if ColdHands is cut from the show.

Glad they killed Burn Gorman. Hate that guys face so much.

Not enough Tyrion, Jaime or Jerome from Robson & Jerome in this episode though. I think they're the only 3 characters left that I care about in the slightest.

It took me an entire year to get through the 4th book. I just started the 5th last month.

5th is better, but it still doesn't measure up to Storm of Swords.

Kind of wonder if any subsequent books ever will.
