They've been doing a slow build with him, but I can see him eventually becoming the biggest heel in Westeros.

It was me tyrion, it as me all along.

Brigstocke 05-05-2014 10:01 AM

I have known for some time as an avid reader that Littlefinger is the greatest heel of alltime. he isn't even halfway done with his dastardly deeds.

Might be time to re-enter the Littlefinger avatar

That original avatar made me instantly a fan of your work, I just finished Storm of Swords. I'm going to start the fourth book soon. I have a good idea of what is yet to come this season.

Brigstocke 05-05-2014 10:33 AM

A Dance with Dragons will astound and begin to enlighten you my friend.

Brigstocke 05-05-2014 10:37 AM

A Feast for Crows may seem a bit sluggish though as it runs in adjacent timeline with A Dance with Dragons but focuses on different characters.. The better characters/stories seem to happen in a Dance with Dragons.

good that you're back to reclaim this throne of a thread. I had to tell myself that they have to fit a lot of the book into these episodes, these last few eps are the first ones I have read ahead of and it adds a totally new joy to my viewing. The show feels condensed, but in a good way. When Peter and Sansa were on their way to the Vale(sp?) it was way longer and had an added stop to it, but I loved the way all those guards had arrows ready to fire if someone were to fart on their way past the Bloody Gate/Vale

Hanso Amore 05-05-2014 01:32 PM

Going to start referring to Arya and the Hound as Head Cheese

Hanso Amore 05-05-2014 01:33 PM

Cersei spent all last night hinting at a Face turn. I dont buy it. Going to end up turning on Margaery like the Horseman on Sting.

Hanso Amore 05-05-2014 01:34 PM

Also - Not a book reader so dont spoil this at all for me, but I really want to get behind Tommen and Ser Pounce. Really hope he ends up as a force as king. Im sure it will take a years of being told what to do by Tywin and Cersei but when he finally says "NO" and drops stunners on 20-30 people in the Royal Court it is going to be epic.

Hanso Amore 05-05-2014 01:36 PM

Also, Brans story is actually getting a bit better. its still a wee bit annoying but they are doing a good job with his Misfits in Action to make me care about their struggle and end goal. Could be the kind of long term booking that makes money.

Yeah, honestly had some trouble making it through the fourth book. Dance with Dragons was pretty great though.

Hanso Amore 05-05-2014 01:37 PM

Lastly, I love that Jon Snow wins after the ref gets distracted and Crastors wife can hit Karl with the Megaphone.

VSG 05-05-2014 05:44 PM

Got back to the US and caught up with Season 2. I will be amazingly pissed off if ColdHands is cut from the show.

Corporate CockSnogger 05-06-2014 01:15 AM

Glad they killed Burn Gorman. Hate that guys face so much.

Corporate CockSnogger 05-06-2014 01:17 AM

Not enough Tyrion, Jaime or Jerome from Robson & Jerome in this episode though. I think they're the only 3 characters left that I care about in the slightest.

RoXer 05-06-2014 01:22 AM

It took me an entire year to get through the 4th book. I just started the 5th last month.

Fignuts 05-06-2014 02:05 AM

5th is better, but it still doesn't measure up to Storm of Swords.

Kind of wonder if any subsequent books ever will.

He'll always be Lord Twatbeard to me.

Brigstocke 05-06-2014 12:51 PM

Fetch Ser Ilyn...

Brigstocke 05-06-2014 12:52 PM

Also...If anybody needs speak with me...Do it through my squire Iginfest of the House Mersey.

SlickyTrickyDamon 05-06-2014 12:59 PM

If Cersei wasn't responsible for poisoning John Aryn why would she act like she did in season one?

Hanso Amore 05-06-2014 01:07 PM

I dont remember her acting like she did but it was so long ago.

My guess is if she did, its not to tip her hand. If she "could" kill Jon Arryn then she "could" kill Ned. If you are thought to do something horrible why not use that as a weapon?

Brigstocke 05-06-2014 02:35 PM

Because Cersei dosen't understand the Game of Thrones.

RP 05-06-2014 02:43 PM

Cersei needs to get back in the kitchen

VSG 05-06-2014 04:13 PM

She would probably get raped by Jaime there as well though.

Brigstocke 05-06-2014 06:25 PM

Rapers wear their crimes like badges of honor in Westeros VSG... How dare you attempt to besmirch the good name of Jaime Lannister?

Brigstocke 05-06-2014 06:27 PM

Cersei has a decent look, charisma and a great 'Moveset'.. She could have been a bigger star if she wasn't prematurely pushed. Its like Ryback all over again.

Heisenberg 05-06-2014 10:54 PM

Is Samwell a main event character? Serious question, I saw he had a chapter named after him

SPOILER: show

He has quite a few POV chapters not sure I'd call him a main event player but he's upper mid-card. He might be pretty important but it has to play out.

number of chapters he has

SPOILER: show

5 (Book 3), 5 (Book 4)

Solid upper mid carder.

Brigstocke 05-07-2014 08:27 AM

Samwell is a main event manager... The Paul Heyman of the wall. The brains of the operation.

Hanso Amore 05-07-2014 08:39 AM

Sam well is more like ziggler

Big following, big performer, just never made that last step

Hanso Amore 05-07-2014 08:39 AM

Killing a white walker was his version of cashing in mitb

Heisenberg 05-07-2014 08:41 AM

I liked him before that, he just has it. What it takes to make you worry about him and stuff. I'm always like, well there goes Samwell beyond the wall, ppl are going to eat him. Then he makes out everytime. Great lad.

The Destroyer 05-07-2014 08:42 AM

"Game of Thrones as wrestling" has well and truly been run into the ground over these last few pages.

Heisenberg 05-07-2014 08:43 AM

Would you rather we grab our teacups and point our pinky fingers to the sky and discuss it like 65 yo dried up crusty women?

I caused this change, I'm going to ride it through

The Destroyer 05-07-2014 11:28 AM

I dunno, four posts of it in a row from Hanso kind of soured me on it.

Heisenberg 05-07-2014 11:37 AM

It's ok, I personally find it amusing to bunch up an episode and break it down into a wrestling card. This season especially has been on point. I'd rather talk about it over any other topic that is floating around like Russia/North Korea/Kardashians
