Bobby Jackson once wore a Kings jersey into the Staple's Center and they broke his hand.

There's a difference between annoys me, and thinking it's a stupid act.

Let me give you an example:

If I saw a Lakers fan in a Lakers jersey at the game last night, I would not be annoyed or pissed in any way.
Whatever. I would even be cordial to the dude if we crossed paths. I do not care.

At the same time, I would see it and think to myself "that guy is probably asking for trouble at some point tonight."
It's something I would not do. I think it's "stupid" because I don't see the point in doing it unless you're looking to attract attention to yourself. But to each their own.

Never said it wasn't allowed. Never said it upset me. Don't know how I'm "acting"

I don't think a lot of people are asking for trouble. Most of them don't even think twice that it will rub people the wrong way.

They are doing it to support the team. People don't think "If I wear Lakers Jersey to the Garden I'm going to get beat up tonight." If more people did think that way then more people wouldn't do it.

Nark Order 06-09-2010 07:14 PM

I'm just kidding though. It wasn't in the Staple's center. In was in Arco Arena. :(

Jeritron 06-09-2010 07:15 PM

True. There are a lot of people who don't think about things. Perhaps I'm giving them too much credit in their intentions, or not enough.
I just know that I wouldn't do it and even though the people who harrass them are in the wrong, it's the whole "you asked for it" thing, in a way.
We all know there are obnoxious people out there. Doesn't make them right, but it's usually common sense to not provoke the situation.

Jeritron 06-09-2010 07:20 PM

My mother was in Montreal with my 8 year old nephew, and she called me and said "The Bruins are in town and we are gonna go." My nephew is a huge hockey fan and almost always has Bruins stuff on.
I got worried.

Who will win game 4?

Davis

Emperor Smeat 06-10-2010 11:48 PM

:D 2 more wins left. Bench was amazing in the 4th Quarter.

Side Note: Not sure if irony would be the correct word to use but before the series even started all the analysts were saying how refs would call less techs and fouls. Instead this series might end up being one of the highest in terms of combined fouls and flow stoppages. Any series besides the few classic rivalries NBA has probably would have been ruined by now.

Jeritron 06-11-2010 12:10 AM

Big Baby was incredible, but I can definitely see how he would get under the skin of fans from opposing teams.

I honestly feel like whoever wins the next game wins the series. That's not certain though, and placing importance on games is usually a crapshoot aside from Game 7s, since they all matter.

Skippord 06-11-2010 12:23 AM

Nate Robinson is adorable

VonErichLives 06-11-2010 03:22 AM

was at the game, row 10, about center court... mitch kuptcheck and family sat behind me.. his kids were annoying especially the daughter.

The c's won ugly... the starters have been flat for 2 games... Pierce and Allen need to wake up and can Paul Pierce please practice free throws, you're the CAPTAIN for christ sake!
.
the bench wn this, Davis, Robinson, an the big 3 from Wallace.

must win game 5... then it's one of 2 n LA to win!

OssMan 06-11-2010 11:18 AM

and glen davis is frothing at the mouth

Skippord 06-11-2010 12:16 PM

lol Glen Davis is my new favorite player ever

IC Champion 06-11-2010 02:36 PM

God i hate the celtics. So lucky to have gotten that win last night. It will probably be their last. Celtics were lucky Bynum wasn't 100%. The guy is a beast down low, both ends of the court. He blocks atleast three glen davis shots a game.

Yeah, he's a big faggot, I really hated how he acted like he was scoring the final basket in OT everytime he scored. Same with Robinson, who is lucky to play 3 mins a game.

alvarado52 06-11-2010 03:22 PM

Big Baby had a good game that was amplified ten fold by the shitty defense of one Lamar Odom

That graphic makes me hate ESPN because they love coming up with stupid stats that no one in their right mind would even think of.

Most Field Goals Made in the last 24 seconds of a one possession game since 2002-2003??? Really??

They pulled this stat out of their ass to make it look like this is just another area where Lebron is better than Kobe.

How about they put up a stat showing how many GAME WINNERS each of them has? I don't think Lebron's number would be as high.

I know it sounds like i'm nitpicking, but ESPN does shit like this all the time and it would bother no matter what players the stats were about.

IC Champion 06-13-2010 09:55 PM

Lakers cant score, and Celtics are shooting crazy high percentage. And yet it's only a 10 point lead, should be interesting going back to LA.

Jeritron 06-13-2010 10:03 PM

lol Wallace

IC Champion 06-13-2010 10:04 PM

Did Shannon Brown die?

IC Champion 06-13-2010 10:05 PM

Wow, Celtics are getting all the calls.

alvarado52 06-13-2010 10:08 PM

1) I hope Odom is traded this summer 2) Why is every Laker just STANDING there? There is no off ball movement going on.

Juan 06-13-2010 10:08 PM

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say this game is over

IC Champion 06-13-2010 10:10 PM

Seriously, where the fuck is Shannon Brown, and why are both Farmar and Vulajic both on the floor over him?

alvarado52 06-13-2010 10:12 PM

its really Kobe vs the Celtics right now, because i dont see another Laker doing jack shit.

alvarado52 06-13-2010 10:12 PM

i havent been this pissed off watching a game in a long while.

Juan 06-13-2010 10:17 PM

Lamar Odom sighting

IC Champion 06-13-2010 10:21 PM

You would never know the Lakers where playing in the NBA finals.

alvarado52 06-13-2010 10:22 PM

seriously though, i'd trade Lamar for Big Baby any day of the week. I dont care about Odoms 'X-Factor' where he can 'potentially' get 30 and 20...i'd rather have someone off the bench that i KNOW will give me a solid 12 and 8 every game.

Emperor Smeat 06-13-2010 10:22 PM

:D Rondo

alvarado52 06-13-2010 10:23 PM

i really trip out watching these 'professionals' lack so much fundamental shit like boxing out

IC Champion 06-13-2010 10:25 PM

Or rotating of defense.

IC Champion 06-13-2010 10:29 PM

If even one other Laker had shown up, they would have won probably. Or atleast had a chance.

alvarado52 06-13-2010 10:30 PM

Why the FUCK did Lamar Odom just jump straight up when the rebound was clearly going long?

Jeritron 06-13-2010 10:33 PM

alvarado52 06-13-2010 10:42 PM

WHAT THE FUCK!? Dude....fuck these refs and fuck the NBA for wanting this to be some sort of epic game 7 championship.

Emperor Smeat 06-13-2010 10:42 PM

Lakers have as many FT misses (9) as Celtics have for total FTs (9).

alvarado52 06-13-2010 10:43 PM

and fuck Ron Artest for not stopping, pump faking, and letting Pierce go past him.

McLegend 06-13-2010 10:43 PM

I don't think Boston can win 3 games in a row against the Lakers. I see it going 7.

I know Spurs beat the Hornets in NO in a game 7 2 years ago, but pretty much Road teams don't win game 7 in the NBA.

So yeah I still think Lakers.

Also before anyone else says it

Pierce catching the ball and passing to Rondo while he was falling out of bounds looks a lot like Larry Bird stealing the Isiah Thomas pass. Rondo's layup was really tough.
