Unless Punk is literally the worst person to blade EVER. That's hardway

JimmyMess 08-29-2012 06:19 PM

Ouch! Although in the video it does look like he hands something to the ref right after he hits the mat.

Flash Funk 08-29-2012 07:30 PM

No doubt to me he bladed as he was getting thrown into the cage.

ooTin 08-29-2012 07:33 PM

I didnt see a blade job but, that is the point of blading. Side note, not sure why Cole is getting shit for missing that "Rock Bottom" went stright to the Anaconda Vice.

yes, right as he was getting thrown into the cage you could see him dragging his fingers over his forehead. he handed the blade to the ref as he hit the mat.

Yeah, he's done that combo before.

I think he's talking about 8:52.

It looks like he's doing something with his hand on his head as he gets thrown into the cage and then the ref does definitely get down and possibly take something from Punk's hand.

What makes it more suspicious is that Punk quickly thrust his head up in a weird way as if he's trying to keep the blood from dripping down from the top of his head and become visible yet. Then after the fist drop he keeps his head down and lets it drip down making it seem like the fist is what busted him open.

Keith 08-30-2012 01:07 AM

I think he definitely did blade.

Holy titty-fucking christ. You just don't run with razor blades. Jericho was right about his parents, they were clearly pretty shitty.

I should have added a "You were right, by the way" at the end of that.

lol shit if he's blading here, the boy's lost his mind

CSL 08-30-2012 10:53 AM

yeahhhh just seen it, the part of the vid I watched before was at 8:06 where King first sends him in after coming out of the neckbreaker and the ref checks Punk, skipped straight past the bit at 8:49 where the screenshot was taken from straight to the punches, kind of blatant

Corporate CockSnogger 08-30-2012 11:06 AM

Yes! Shaun Hasney in the houuuuuuuuse.

Swiss Ultimate 08-30-2012 11:08 AM

The magic of wrestling.

XCaliber 08-30-2012 11:53 AM

Well son of a botch!

Swiss Ultimate 08-30-2012 11:54 AM

I didn't see it after like 6 replays. I'm going to call this one a successful blade as you'd have to be a humming bird to catch that shit. Or Razz...who may be a humming bird.

Keith 08-30-2012 11:56 AM

I can only imagine if we were all here the day after WrestleMania 13, the debate over whether Austin bladed or not during his match with Bret Hart.

CSL 08-30-2012 12:01 PM

give him points for creativity but it's really not worth the damage, it was no less obvious than your regular blade job yet he's left with that abortion of a wound on his head

hardly the same thing

Keith 08-30-2012 12:04 PM

Of course, but still.

Innovator 08-30-2012 12:35 PM

Why is this a topic?

CSL 08-30-2012 12:45 PM

if we start playing that game, there'd be like 3 threads in the wrestling forum http://www.tpww.net/forums/images/icons/icon12.gif

I'm sure he had his reasons. I can't imagine he just woke up that morning deciding that was the day he was gonna blade. Whether he thought the image of blood during the post match attack would make him look more sinister or if was just out of respect to a legend like Lawler to make him look like a bit of a badass, I'm sure it was worth it.

Gertner 08-30-2012 06:57 PM

I hope he gets fired for this. I guess that's what vanilla midgets have to do to get over.

yeah but I meant he could have just bladed regularly as opposed to that effort

The drugs probably caused it.

Probably wanted to hide it from the office. In which case it's stupid but still. Thats the only reason I can think of for doing it where he did other than to work "smart" fans.

Blading while running into a cage will do that to ya.

Swish 09-04-2012 08:01 AM

WWE Should bring Halloween Havoc as a PPV

This would make perfect entertainment......

Suggestions/thoughts like i give a crap but your welcome to them

Swish 09-04-2012 08:23 AM

When Blood Spills, and Ketchup Stains.

So when Punk did that blade job recently on Raw
I've started to question could this just be a load of hype for WWE 13?.

Or

Are they going to go back to their routes and start blading again?

Zeeboe 09-04-2012 11:35 AM

I was always a big fan of that PPV cause I love Halloween. :) So I'd love that. They could do some good stuff with the Undertaker if they brought that PPV back.

DAMN iNATOR 09-04-2012 11:44 AM

I think I remember DrA suggesting something like this once in Casual.

Joesgonnakillyou 09-04-2012 12:17 PM

You mean "roots" not "routes"

You're welcome

Swish 09-08-2012 01:15 PM

The Great Khali and The Undertaker

would this last match have ended better if they faced off at
Wrestlemania???. I mean it would have been another big guy for Taker
to defeat. I just felt the storyline with The Great Khali was rushed.

They could have made it into something huge...

Anyone else..

(The next person that merges this thread into my own big thread will, be cursed.. I MEAN IT).

Pintint 09-08-2012 01:16 PM

I agree, it definetely should've been a wrestlemania match.
