Another overall enjoyable show.

Opening was "IWC goodness" (just a spotfest between two insanely athletic guys).

Women's match was..... well, Joe Hendry debuted :D
(I'm a huge Joe Hendry fan, I'll go into that more on another post)

Kross's debut was solid. I kinda wish they had him destroy an X division guy (because KM and Fallah are huge guys who were completely destroyed with little resistance)

The whole Eddie/ Dreamer thing..... I will give credit for them making Eddie entertaining as a singles. I get the feeling Dreamer is just there to put over Eddie (Tommy had always been a guy to put younger talent ahead of himself) so seeing them at Slammaversery isn't the worst thing in the world.

Cage and Kongo had a few "hiccups" but that F5 to Kongo more than made up for it.

Finally, Hernandez and Homicide returning was a pretty good pop. I kinda wish the roles had been reversed (Ortiz and Santana siding with King and the OGs come back to help Konnan) but it was a good none the less.

I'll pass on that show.

Impact has been very easy to digest as of late. Loved the Austin Aries promo.

When I first saw it happen, I immediately felt the same way... for a knee-jerk second.

Then, I thought "what does that do for the new guys, though"? I got flashbacks of New Blood vs Millionares Club where all the young talent that were supposed to be the future of the company were all the heels, and the old guys clutching their spots were supposed to be the babyfaces.

While nice to see the OGs come back, having all three of the LAX newbs be the heels would hurt all three of them. Meanwhile, being a heel will hurt neither Homicide or SuperMex, and if they're taking marching orders from the supposed King of NY, then that gives him some kind of rub, to have the original guys side with him over Konnan.

It makes more long term sense, if they don't go oldschool TNA with it and fuck it all to hell and bury all six in either overbooked nonsense or an angle that just ends with no resolution for anyone.

Starting really late and will probably just do a twitter run down for the show. NASCAR is in town and I'm not real focused on wrestling right now.

The people who run NASCAR would probably love for it to be scripted. Trying to push the young drivers at the moment and the veteran drivers are not having it.

Stackhouse best heel in nascar

Think you mean Stenhouse and he's not a heel he just can't drive. Was pretty much responsible for every wreck that happened last week. Kyle Busch, who I'm a fan of is the biggest heel in NASCAR.

I wasn't crazy about Impact this week, alot of segments and not much wrestling (although the six man tag had enough action in it for 3 or 4 matches)

My main two thing I got out of this week was that D'Angelo Williams really impressed me in the ring again (he seemed very comfortable and worked the crowd like he's been doing it for years)

It also looks like their building to a Joe Hendry/ Eli Drake feud and I am really looking forward to that. One of my "super secret insider sources" :shifty: has told me Impact really wants to invest in making Hendry a big star.... and I think that's a great move (guy is young, charismatic AF and an accomplished legit shoot wrestler so that sounds good to me)

Haven't really watched this week. Just coming back from the NASCAR race as I speak. Will probably watch it tomorrow and do tjrcrun down then. Only segment I've seen was the opening segment.

Also I'd like to see Eli Drake vs Nick Aldis at Slammiversary rather than Eli Drake vs Joe Hendy.

Finally got through this episode yesterday. Tried Sunday but was too tired and hungover from the race and I just napped most the day. Was probably the best episode so far in this set of tapings. 6 man main event was a real good.

I actually shared the locker room with Nick a couple of weeks ago. Really nice, kinda quiet guy. Seeing him in person though, it still boggles my mind that WWE didn't offer him a contract when he left TNA or when Mickie went back. Tall, ridiculously jacked and he had an amazing match

Yeah I think he's a great talent for what the NWA is trying to do. Pretty cool sharing a locker room with the NWA Worlds Heaveyweight Champion, hope you get a title shot one day.

wwe has to much talent now nick might have got the mike bennet treatment an be on main event. if he does good in the main event at all in, he could get good terms from the wwe if he wants.
