A lot of contracts ban certain "risk sports" that players can do Ski'ing, auto racing etc...

Think Griese prevents him from owning a dog?

Michael Vick smoked weed; everybody already knew that but now ESPN has something new to have 20 SportsCenter specials and an ESPN Town Meeting about

Tomorrow on ESPN First Take. Howie Schaub loves his potato chips like Mike Vick does his weed. Also on 1st and 10 Skip Bayless and Steven A. Smith debate Lebron James and Michael Vick smoking weed. Also Danny Bonaduce will stop by to tell us the dangers of smoking weed like Mike Vick does.

I heard the Bears players wanted Kyle Orton to start instead of Griese because he was more liked and had a better attitude, but didnt Orton put up Grossman type numbers when he was the starter for several games back in 05???

Gonzo 09-26-2007 10:18 PM

I think that when Orton was at the helm the Bears were 9-1. I might be wrong though.

OssMan 09-26-2007 10:40 PM

He also had a QB rating of 59.7

Gonzo 09-26-2007 11:24 PM

Honestly though, can't be any worse than Rex Grossman.

Supreme Olajuwon 09-27-2007 02:15 AM

sure he can

he can be Eli Manning

Skippord 09-27-2007 04:22 AM

BAZING

RP 09-27-2007 11:55 AM

Kyle Orton is from Purdue so he'll probably be good.

SammyG 09-27-2007 12:20 PM

Kyle Orton<Randy Orton<RANDY p Orton<>

VonErichLives 09-27-2007 02:31 PM

Think he'd get fined if he did the Randy Orton pose every time he scored a TD?

(remember, this is the Bears offense, so he may not even get to do it once a game!)

SammyG 09-27-2007 05:51 PM

That would be the best thing EVER.

OssMan 09-27-2007 08:30 PM

lol just remembered the Redskins 4th quarter this week

RP 09-27-2007 09:36 PM

I think Denver will actually put up a fight this week. I think this could be a tuff game. Then again i think Cutler may be exposed in this game also.

mrslackalack 09-27-2007 10:32 PM

I think the Colts win in a shootout. Last yrs game was good last yr I remember as the Colts won in Denver by a last sec FG.

Skippord 09-28-2007 12:29 AM

Cutler is a beast

I'll be at the Rockies Game to avoid seeing the Broncs get beaten

mrslackalack 09-28-2007 12:14 PM

I love the Broncos offense. Cutler has some good weapons with Walker and Marshall. Travis Henry is a top 10 RB in the league IMO when hes healthy, but hes very injury prone.

SammyG 09-28-2007 12:35 PM

Who to start on fantasy? Garcia or Bulger? Got Garcia rite now.

VonErichLives 09-28-2007 12:41 PM

So, Wilfork got fined... doesn't make sense to me simply because a camera angle clearly shows his feet were tripped and he fell forword, wasn't a dive. but whatever...

I love this new lawsuit... some lawyers are suing the pats for all the Jets season ticket holders for a refund of that game.

I think they should check if it hasn't been too long and sue the Broncos and 49'ers for when they were caught playing games with the cap and having more players making more then they should have...

or how about fans sue the ref that screwed up the heads/tails call with the steelers?

awaits a RP flip out about how the Pats are cheaters and none of their superbowls counts blah, blah, blah...

How bad is Jacksons tare?

SammyG 09-28-2007 12:44 PM

He's week to week, but pretty suuuree he's missing next week too. Leonard is gonna get a lot of carries I think, I dunno. Marc has broken ribs. Against the Cowboys. Garcia playing the Panthers. DUNNO WHO TO START.

mrslackalack 09-28-2007 01:07 PM

Bulger did awful last week. Garcia has been decent lately as the Bucs have won 2 in a row. Id go with Garcia.

SammyG 09-28-2007 01:09 PM

Yeah, most probably sticking with Garcia. I expect the Ram fan to take over in me though, and make Bulger my starter before Sunday. Hopefully not though.

road doggy dogg 09-28-2007 04:39 PM

Go with Garcia. One of the better matchups he'll get, and the Rams offense as a whole is a mess.

road doggy dogg 09-28-2007 04:40 PM

Actually I dunno though, Dallas' secondary hasn't been the best. If you've invested a high pick in Bulger, might as well stick with him. I'd probably go Garcia though.

#1-norm-fan 09-28-2007 08:03 PM

Yeah, you should probably go Garcia.

Dallas' defense allows a decent amount of big plays but they also get alot of picks...

SammyG 09-28-2007 09:10 PM

Garcia it is.

road doggy dogg 09-28-2007 11:46 PM

If ever there was a week for the Lions to beat the Bears, I think this would be it. Chicago's defense has been decimated by injuries, and Detroit's offense has been sexy. Lions have a pretty solid run D, and even without Grossman in there I don't think the Bears will really do a lot of damage through the air. I think the Lions have a legit shot to beat them this week.

OssMan 09-29-2007 12:27 AM

Go with Bulger

RP 09-29-2007 09:00 AM

I heard on the radio that the NFL Flex Scheduling kicks in Week 8. Which would mean the Pats vs Colts game could still be a primetime game, but as scheduled now, that game is Dallas vs Philly

RP 09-29-2007 09:11 AM

And i always say, " Fuck Dallas vs Philly ".

can they move it to monday night or just the sunday night slot?

Kris P Lettus 09-29-2007 02:19 PM

Just Sunday from what I've heard..

Crimson 09-29-2007 03:46 PM

Fuck Pats/Colts im sick and tired of that rivalry..out with the old in with the new..put all the Cowboys games on!

DrA 09-29-2007 03:52 PM

No, I can't stand watching the Cowboys on Sunday night or Monday, which is too bad since 75% of their games are during those times.

What difference does it make if the Colts/Patriots game is on Sunday night? It's still going to be the national afternoon game no matter what.

Hanso Amore 09-29-2007 05:41 PM

Well, the bills are pretty much done for the year, so Im packing it in. Its going to be a rough season the rest of the way, we are going to be destroyed by Dallas on the monday night game.

In lighter news, I am FUCKING KILLING in the TPWW Fantasy League. I have shit for a second RB, so Basically I am Riding the Kitna or Favre train to the end. I do have the best WRs in the league though, Boldin, Steve Smith and Torry Holt. Add in Wes Welker on the Utility player, and Randle El on the bench (return pounts baby) and its on,

MTH15 09-29-2007 06:15 PM

Falcons 0-3 Saints 0-3 Rams 0-3 Giants 1-2 Bengals 1-2. Everyones favprate teams are fighting for an early draft pick and look whos winning :)
