There is zero chance that happens. If Eli was old enough where he could retire at any year like Favre was, it'd make sense. But he'll be 33 in January. I imagine he's got like 4-5 years left. The Giants' QB of the future will be drafted/groomed in like 2-3 years, not now.

It's not all Eli's fault, anyway. It's fair to pin last night on Eli as the defense eventually stepped up near the end, but with many of these games it's tough to win when you go into every drive expecting the other offense to put up 7. The Giants' D has been a total sieve for the most part. They need to get a hell of a lot more help on D this April. Without a pass rush the Giants defensive scheme is fucked.
