A lot of it is based on Emi Sakura, who he brought in as a "Coach" for the Women's Division. Mainly how she trained a LOT of female wrestlers, many of them very young (Riho was 8, another of her students was the girl that Omega wrestled in that infamous match that Cornette bitches about). She had 3 schools (ICE Ribbon, Gatoh MOVE, and Choco Pro), and none of the schools had rings. Also, Gatoh MOVE was based out of Thailand, which she went to after some issues in ICE Ribbon with students.

And part of the reason why Omega liked Japan so much was because they report assaults over there even less than it gets reported in the US. And he hangs out with a bunch of abusers because he himself is one.

Licensed music is potentially a great tool. It’s expensive, but the WWE has got the resources. But hey, just during commercial breaks works too. Triple H seems more mindful of the show as a live experience.

The last time FTR wrestled a straight-up tag team match in AEW was at Forbidden Door. Their last one on Dynamite was against Roppongi Vice in May. Before that it was The Bucks match in April.

Samuel Guevara has been weird on Twitter. He might just be looking for attention, but he has posted a few things about things ending and going to new places, etc. He’s also posted pics of people taking bows and has an email for booking requests for him and Tay.

I slept on the idea of ROH being the place for The Elite when it comes out they are all tossers. Maybe it’s just because I don’t see them going along with it, or TK taking the Elite out of All Elite Wrestling if it’s possible not to. But let’s say that CM Punk and Ace Steel have the bigger legal dick because Ace Steel’s wife felt intimidated, etc. Punk doesn’t want them to fuck off completely, he just wants more power and control in AEW and them to have none. They weigh up leaving but decide that it would be better to stay associated and get ROH.

Final Battle:

The Bucks win the tag belts because FTR go to AEW full-time as the star team there. It’s the little bargaining chip to make it seem like they aren’t getting buried — they get to win that series. The Briscoes then confront them, and since Jeff Hardy is on his way back, that’s where you put him and Matt.

Omega can either win the ROH Title or Will Ospreay can cost him that match to put more build behind Omega and Ospreay for the IWGP US Title at Wrestle Kingdom.

ROH also has Colt Cabana. Adam Page can go over and you can run Page vs. Omega II over there eventually.

That would be really cool.

I want to see Claudio vs. Shingo at WK. Make that for the ROH Title. Shingo can win the belt and spend some time in ROH. He can have the gimmick of trying to go through the ROH Hall of Famers (Danielson, Punk, Joe). He can eventually drop the belt to Omega who would be the centerpiece there. Omega can then defend the belt against Okada at a crossover show before eventually dropping it to Page.

Cramming 8 matches onto a 2-hour Rampage, but at least 3 of those figure to be quick squashes. Between that and the battle royal it feels like they're really just trying to get everyone a match on their big stadium show, kinda like how the Andre Battle Royal was mostly just added to get everyone a Mania payday.

That said whilst I love a good battle royal, having it be for a title shot is clunky as hell. Yeah it's an easy way to set the new champion up for their first challenger so they can get some defenses in before MJF takes the belt, but it only further highlights how pointless rankings are. They may as well just mercy kill them in the new year.

In any event this will be a long night attending live but there should be some real belters on there. Excited to go.

Bryan Alvarez let it slip on one of the Observer shows that there was a previous internal investigation in AEW that went several months. He didn’t say what it was about, but that could support what Brian Last has said about there being lots of issues involving The Bucks and Omega in the past (provided it was them getting investigated).

Kenny Omega has been booted from the main event of AAA Triplemania XXX next month because his AEW suspension won't let him compete elsewhere either, apparently.

I was listening to Last earlier, and he further implied that Kenny was in some DEEP shit.
