Emperor Smeat 12-12-2010 05:35 PM

Chicago is playing like they never played a game in the snow or cold weather before with how bad they are. Either that or Mike Martz didn't make a game plan in case of snowy weather.

SlickyTrickyDamon 12-12-2010 05:42 PM

What market are you in?

Razzamajazz 12-12-2010 06:26 PM

minnesota, so that game should have more precedence

It did the same here in Va.

Glad you're here. We needed an annoying Patriots fan.

Droford 12-12-2010 06:30 PM

i cant believe a Jets player on the sideline just stuck their knee out to trip up a dolphins player running along the sideline. Whoever it is should be suspended for the rest of the year, you just cant do that.

Supreme Olajuwon 12-12-2010 06:30 PM

4:15 ass kickings today. Scores are currently 31-6, 40-14, 36-7, 19-3, 21-0

and then the Jets and Dolphins ruining it for everyone

IC Champion 12-12-2010 06:31 PM

lol, the Jets and Dolphins is becoming hard to watch.

IC Champion 12-12-2010 06:32 PM

I'd boo Mark Sanchez too.

Droford 12-12-2010 06:35 PM

It would be awesome if the Jets lost. It would give the Ravens some more breathing room and put them in the top Wild Card slot.

DaveBrawl 12-12-2010 06:38 PM

Jay Feeley has scored all 19 of Arizona's points as Arizona is beating Denver 19-3 at this moment.

Pretty bad when the kicker is scoring on fake field goals.

IC Champion 12-12-2010 06:40 PM

Jets suck.

Supreme Olajuwon 12-12-2010 06:46 PM

The Jets can't turn to Nick Folk on 4th down because of his inconsistent play. So instead they let Mark Sanchez and his inconsistent play throw a really tough route on 4th down.

Team Sheep 12-12-2010 06:47 PM

Starting to feel like the 2008 season.

IC Champion 12-12-2010 06:47 PM

To be fair to it's not an easy kick for any kicker in that weather, and it is Nick Folk.

Supreme Olajuwon 12-12-2010 06:56 PM

Yeah but that sideline route to Holmes that they called was way too optimistic a play call for Sanchez today. Especially on 4th down in the 4th quarter.

Was it a player or a member of the Jets staff? I thought it was the latter. Regardless, that was unsportsmanlike conduct on that person's part.

Supreme Olajuwon 12-12-2010 06:58 PM

See there we go. Deep ball to Holmes' inside shoulder. That's what works.

That game was worse than Monday night. At least we got pummeled by a team miles better. Tonight was just hideous. Awful passes, terrible hands, crap running game. I have no idea what the rest of the way holds.

The CBS announcer said "and the Jets have lost their Swagger." So, I gave them one to make up for it.

AFC East belongs to the Pats now with any Patriot win or Jets defeat. The Magic number is one.

Emperor Smeat 12-12-2010 07:30 PM

Combined QB passing for Jets-Dolphins ends up around 22 for 62 attempts and Henne somehow throws for 55 yards but after all the sacks, only gets credited with 30 yards.

RoXer 12-12-2010 07:31 PM

Did they find their CBS announcer though?

They don't count sacks as yards lost in fantasy sports though. Wouldn't it suck if they did?

Supreme Olajuwon 12-12-2010 07:35 PM

No, it wouldn't. It would be a meaningless stat applied to every team equally.

Starting to wonder if Feeley will be their starting QB next season as well as the kicker.

Pumped for next week. HUGE game against the Colts. Could make or break our playoff chances.

Johnny Vegas 12-12-2010 07:39 PM

Is it just me, or is this season's head scratcher is WRs dropping passes. Never seen this many balls dropped, especially when they are key to a possible victory.

SammyG 12-12-2010 07:42 PM

The Saints are pretty good. Thank god the Hawks lost too... NFC West, where amazing happens.

Skippord 12-12-2010 07:53 PM

How is this game still going on?

feels like it's been 7 hours

Johnny Vegas 12-12-2010 07:53 PM

On a sidenote:

Ryan Fitzpatrick is playing his ASS off. If the MVP didn't 60% of the time involve the team's record, i'd give it to him. Take him off of the squad, and you have a winless Bills team, IMO.

Also, where the f has Randy Moss been for the past 3-4 weeks. Are they not throwing the ball to him on purpose or TRYING to lose a good player?

Supreme Olajuwon 12-12-2010 08:05 PM

Yeah, they claimed him off waivers so they could not throw to him on purpose.

Its so weird having whoever leads the west in the playoff picture thing being ahead of the giants, saints, gb, etc when they are like 2-3 games behind all those teams..

Bradford will be an elite qb one day.. Stephen Jackson is a fucking horse..

Anyway, Who Dat??

SammyG 12-12-2010 08:18 PM

This was Bradford's worst game of the year, to have you say he will be elite after this performance is mind-blowing, haha. Figured you'd bash him. He definitely made some rookie mistakes today. That pick 6 , shoulda thrown it to Gibson's outside shoulder... Oh well. Jackson, yeah, definitely a horse. Not having our best CB sucked today too, Bartell.

Very easily could be NO @ STL 1st round playoff game.

well i know they're QB sucks cock. But the fact that Moss hasn't been hit that much, hasn't constantly been thrown too, i don't see him "not as good as he used to be". I DO think that this season he doesn't care if he gets thrown to because he probably doesn't plan on being in TN. You won't know how good someone is if you don't give them a chance.

Johnny Vegas 12-12-2010 08:26 PM

lol i love how people forget that the Lions almost beat the Cowboys not too long ago. Not that the Lions are absolutely terrible, but they are a team that you "should beat", and not by close.

Give the Lions a few more years and good decisions with draft picks and they will be a good playoff worthy team. Not title contenders quality but at the same time not a 0 to 4 win team either.

Lions biggest problem is finishing games and lack of quality on the O-line and defense.

Don't try to insinuate that Tom Brady or Michael Vick will be the MVPs just because of their winning records.

They both have winning records along with unbelievable stats this year. Also better performances than Ryan Fitzpatrick. The Bills also haven't even faced the Patriots and the Jets for the second time yet. He has proved to be a good QB and certainly better than they thought he was going to be. He is nowhere close to being the MVP of the National Football League. Just because he's the best QB on the Bills since Dougl Flutie doesn't mean hes the MVP of the league. He is without a doubt the MVP of the TEAM

Brady: 27 TDs (1 in the league) w/ 4 INT (2nd in the league factoring out injuried QBs and benched ones, 109.5 QB Rating (#1 league)

Fitzpatrick: 20 w/11 INT.

Come on man!

He's a running QB. When you run like that you get treated like a Runningback unless you slide. Brady stays in the pocket and throws it so he is given more protection because he stays inside the pocket like 99 percent of the time.

How long have you been watching football?

Razzamajazz 12-12-2010 09:32 PM

plus vick fights dogs

SlickyTrickyDamon 12-12-2010 09:37 PM

He is still the 2nd best QB in the NFL right now and is a great story of redemption. If he didn't break his ribs he could have had a chance to have the stats to match up to Brady touchdown wise and victory wise.

SlickyTrickyDamon 12-12-2010 09:40 PM

Make up call on that late hit out of bounds much?

Johnny Vegas 12-12-2010 09:42 PM

The refs gave us that personal foul hit because they fucked up on the late hit on Vick earlier

The tackling is just people not doing what they are taught every practice. I miss the 2001-2007 Eagles D :(

IN bounds with the ref looking directly at Vick's feet. Ref doing his job knowing that a late-hit out of bounds would be possible. Trying to make the right call making sure it was in bounds. If Vick can't take a push IN BOUNDS like that out of bounds he should just leave the NFL.

Also he's not a QB when he leaves the pocket, so he is treated like a WR/RB/TE would be.

There is your photo proof, now I await your apology for being wrong.

McLegend 12-12-2010 10:08 PM

If that's Tony Romo it's getting called.

SlickyTrickyDamon 12-12-2010 10:15 PM

Dude, he's just an Eagles mark as I am a Patriots mark. I'm not going to see logic when you talk about the Patriots and whatever negative things you can say about them.

Doesn't mean I don't expect people to not point out things about them that are negative. Or swear at people who call me out on being full of shit.

It wasn't a late hit both announcers said that that it wasn't after they checked that both feet were in bounds during initial contact. The ref had his eyes directly on VIck's feet with his whistle in hand. He was waiting for the feet to hit and they did after he got pushed down hard, but legally to the ground and out of bounds.

Johnny Vegas 12-12-2010 10:18 PM

Need to at least get a FG on this drive

McLegend 12-12-2010 10:19 PM

Yeah but with the way they call everything now I don't get how there wasn't a flag thrown on that play, and no one can tell me otherwise.

Johnny Vegas 12-12-2010 10:22 PM

btw, im going to need the Eagles to run the damn ball when we are 10 yards from the endzone. Make the D line of the Cowgirls work a little.

Just because QBs are protecting in the pocket doesn't mean they are going to be coddled when they try to leave the pocket.

Really? Come the fuck on man! The ref was looking directly (right at) Vick's feet. Since he never took his eyes off his feet he knew he was in bounds when he got pushed.

Just because you looked at the strength of the hit and it was hard don't think there will be a flag because it was a hard push. This is football a game for MEN! It wasn't a head attack it was a push to the chest down to the ground. They don't give a shit about the players unless it affect their head because of all the negative publicity from concussions from the death of Chris Henry from post-concussion mental disorder.

SlickyTrickyDamon 12-12-2010 10:25 PM

If the rules keep changing the way that have during the course of this season, pretty soon the NFL will be a one-hand touch league, because two-hands will be too violent.

I was really hoping that last week during pregame warmups that the Steelers and Ravens would have come out wearing flags.

I do actually anticipate that if there IS a season next year, that QBs will have to wear the "bubble" helmets.

Why don't just just throw a flag for every QB sack too? Or how about a flag for yelling snap counts cause it's too loud and it hurts the players ears?

How about a penalty for every touchdown that you get when you are up by 14 points or more cause it hurts the other teams feelings.

You get a touchdown when you successfully write a poem about how the touchdown hurts your feelings.:heart:

Oh man, it's a good thing Denver fired McDaniels with 4 games left instead of letting him finish the season out. What improvement they've made. From losing by 4 to the division leaders last week under McD to a huge one-sided victory over Arizona under the Interim-HC Studesville.

Oh...wait...

They probably looked at Dallas and Minnesota's success under interim HCs and figured "Why not us?"

FearedSanctity 12-12-2010 10:51 PM

Because Garrett and Frasier have been HC candidates for a while. Whereas Studesville has never, besides now, risen above being a position coach

Probably wanted to make sure it just wasn't just McDaniels who was over his head. They want to put their entire coaching staff over their head so they can just fire EVERYBODY in the coaching staff in the off-season and start fresh next season.

Even though he isn't the coach it is still his team. Their QB is somebody who McD traded for. He traded a diamond in the rough RB who is now kicking ass for a rejuvinated division rival.

I'm sure we will see a clean house end of the season. There will be a new Coach, Coordinators, Quarterback, Quarterback Coach. The only sure thing on that team is Brandon Lloyd unless they fuck up and cut him or trade him to get a new QB. :shifty:
