It looks like they are now deeming a Fatal Heart Attack that led to the crash.
Dude was an Icon here. Not just for hockey. Hes still lives here and is Well known as a major charity player. More people know him as Rico at the local golf courses than as a player. Just an all round great guy that loved the Sabres. I had the honor of meeting him at a Charity Golf Tourney 3 years ago. |

:eek: Bruins won a shootout. They usually are horrible and rarely win one of these. Not counting Seguin, the next best for goals scored percentage is like 25% or less (might be Bergeron).
Also ended up being the 2,800th win in team history. Montreal lost to Washington so Washington kept its 5pt lead for 2nd place and Bruins add 2 more for a 4pt lead in the division over Montreal. |

Marchand only got 2 games for that too. I hate it when the NHL suspends players based on the results of the injury. If Umberger was hurt on this play, the suspension would have been longer.
It was a hit from behind to the head. Should have thrown the book at him. I'm all for a big hit or a good fight but there is no need in the game for garbage hits like that. The line needs to be drawn and enough of these pussy ass 1-2 game slap on the wrist suspensions. |

If it were anybody else it'd get a two games suspension since Heatley somehow only got two, but since it's Cooke we are talking here he's looking at 5. He's just lucky that McDonaugh didn't get hurt bad.
