Thinking of dropping Austin Collie to grab him. Need some advice on this STAT

Never been very good at fantasy football.

Skippord 10-07-2011 03:06 AM

Decker is better than Collie

FearedSanctity 10-07-2011 03:07 AM

Decker is everything I wish I could be

PS. How the shit do I embed YouTube videos?

It does kind of seem spiteful not to play him.

Does Denver even have the right players to pull the formation off well like how Miami had Ronnie Brown and a few others to do the trick plays?

It probably would work a few times but then other teams will start to anticipate the plays if he's only brought in for them.

If the video is embedable it should show up as an option after clicking the share button.

Skippord 10-07-2011 03:11 AM

I think you like click on the word share under the video and then there's the embed code as one of the options that comes up.

FearedSanctity 10-07-2011 03:13 AM

Well yeah I got that, but anytime I put a video in a post it just shows up blank

Skippord 10-07-2011 03:39 AM

it might be the WYSIWYG thing in your User CP is on the wrong setting

I think that's caused problems for people in the past

FearedSanctity 10-07-2011 03:50 AM

No luck :'(

Ray Rice is a RB, and while its nice to have a recieving threat in the bacfield, they shouldn't be the best reciever on the team, but he pretty much has been for the last two years.

Boldin was a perrenial 1000 yard WR and goes to Balt and drops off. But dont blame Flacco for it. Its HIS fault Flacco is dumping it off to Rice over and over and its Boldins fault for all of Flaccos short comings.

It's implied every time Fox talks or the Broncos players defend Orton, but I really wish Fox would just come out and say "Look guys, Tebow is TERRIBLE. He's so bad. Way worse than Orton. I'm not putting a guy who can't throw into the game. Get over it."

But he's too nice about it, and Broncos fans are shitting all over him.

Ermaximus 10-07-2011 11:48 AM

Decker starting over Andre 3000 Johnson. Say it ain't so? Yes it is. Wallace, Decker, and the Panthers Steve Smith. Light em up boys.

screech 10-07-2011 12:12 PM

I have dropped Austin Collie and added Eric (Fucking) Decker.

I am still projected to lose, but maybe I'll at least score more points.

Cooley made me a fan of his.

am I the only person, having just read the transcript of what Favre actually said about Rodgers, that thinks it's pretty much fuck all only for it to be blown up by a media that love a Favre story or am I missing something?

RoXer 10-07-2011 09:25 PM

Finally, a lot of people I know can root for the Raiders.

RoXer 10-08-2011 02:44 PM

"I'll never be a Raiders fan as long as Al Davis is in charge."

I hear a lot of that.

that's some pretty bad work for something on the NFL's homepage

Testicle 10-08-2011 06:17 PM

Well they will get a second chance to make a good one after this coming Monday, WHEN THE LIONS WILL MURDER JAY CULTER! GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO LIONS!

Random thought: If you think that Tebow should play over Orton, you should be put down.

Hanso Amore 10-08-2011 09:43 PM

Al Davis and Ralph Wilson, Two AFL owners, two guys that had success long ago, both missed the teams home opener for the first time ever this year. I think Ralph is on the way out as well.

Both were huge in forming the AFL, and making the NFL what it is today. A Billion dollar industry.

The problem is the league passed them both by about 25 years ago and they soon became jokes as owners. Guys that invested 50 grand into forming a league and now have 800+ million dollar teams. They are just out of place in today's game.

Hence Al Davis' "THROW THE BALL DEEP TO FAST RECEIVERS AND HAVE A MEAN DEFENSE" mentality that worked in the 70s.

Hanso Amore 10-08-2011 09:44 PM

Think about this. All Head Coaches and alot of Coordinators make more PER GAME than Ralph and Al invested to buy into the AFL...

Would love to know your reasoning for why a rebuilding team shouldn't be playing the young prospect QB instead of the average at best lame duck QB

FearedSanctity 10-09-2011 06:43 AM

The QB that offers the team "the best chance to win" arguably single handedly lost two games so far this year. That ridiculous fumble when Fells could walk into the endzone vs Oakland, and that retarded ass pass that was so low if the DL didn't tip it the OL was gonna get nailed in the head INT vs Tennessee.

Or how about I just throw up some stats courtesy of MaxBroncos:

Quote:

46.2: Kyle Orton’s quarterback rating the last two years on possessions that began in the last 10 minutes of regulation when trailing by eight points or less.

The series that ended in a tipped Will Witherspoon interception with 1:39 remaining in the game was the 11th that Orton and the Broncos have faced in in that scenario since Week 1 of the 2010 season. From these 11 possessions, the Broncos have scored just once: last year in Week 4 at Tennessee, when Orton hit Correll Buckhalter for a game-winning, 6-yard touchdown two plays after a 49-yard pass-interference penalty put the Broncos into first-and-goal.

Orton’s raw statistics in this scenario the last two years are as follows:

Completions-attempts: 22-of-46
Yards: 267
Completion percentage: 47.8
Yards per attempt: 5.80
Touchdowns: 1
Rushes-yards: 3 for 12
Yards per carry: 4.0
Sacks-yards lost: 5 for 27
Interceptions: 3
Fumbles lost: 1

Al Davis did some great things but his legacy will forever be tarnished by his bad decisions over the past decade or so..

RIP anyway..

Lol what?

You know he went to 5 superbowls, won 3 of them? You know this right? I crack up when you people say shit like this. Or when people bad mouth Favre for unretiring a few times, as if he wasnt won of the greatest qb's ever.

If legacy's are built over a lifetime, but only judged based on the last ten years, then what's the point. Seriously.

If you honestly think that Kris, you need to reevaluate the was you look at sports and life.

Kris P Lettus 10-09-2011 12:33 PM

He is the reason for unproven players like Jamarcus Russel making more than other proven QB's like Brees, Rodgers, and Brady and Manning , at the time.. His throwing money at potential talent instead of proven talent is a huge blemish on the NFL.. If you think players like Vick now getting $100 million contracts is a good thing, you are sadly mistaken.. If you also think that is not primarily because of Davis' actions and choices, you are straight up wrong..

RP 10-09-2011 12:50 PM

You're wrong. Bad contacts were being handed out to unproven players long before Jamarcus Russell. You should look up Scott Mitchell, or how bout 2002, Daunte Culpepper and Pearles Price contacts. Have you ever heard of Dan Snyder? Go look up his track record.

The contracts got bigger because the game got wealthier. The bad contracts from the 90's were just as outrageous when you consider that NFL teams back then were barely worth half of what they are worth now, if that.

Honestly, you're wrong.

RP 10-09-2011 12:56 PM

Lol Michael Vick got a 130 million dollar contract before Jamarcus Russell was even in the league. I think he got a monster signing bonus too!

Seriously, move on to the next subject. You're just wrong. Don't be a Droford.

the young prospect happens to be a lame duck...

Kris P Lettus 10-09-2011 01:16 PM

It's a passing league, but, as much as I hate Tim Teabag, he did beat Hershal Walkers TD record for all time in the SEC..

That in itself deserves respect..

seriously krisp, you can say the same shit about every owner/gm out there.

Jerry Jones? instead of throwing money and new unproven talent, he throws it at used up talent and stadiums that might be sentient life forms. On top of keeping so much control of the team that he fucks with his head coach...

Even the owners of the steelers... they have been great in the last 5-6 years but what about through the 90s (outside of one superbowl appearance) and early part of this decade. Look at the stupid shit they were doing with cordel stewart and what not.

yes it deserves respect in college football... by the way you realize hershal walker is a running back not a passer. He also didnt have the ball every play of the game.

ALSO SEC wasnt always the big time conference with the ncaa records. He beat an old record from his conference, not an ncaa record.
