Part of Symmetra's upcoming rework is getting moved from support to defense.

I dig it, but defense as a class has always been mechanically dubious in terms of it's roster. Like two characters really seem defensive.

She's getting nerfed for sure.

She just has a lot of counter-measures in her arsenal, and I love her for that. Something satisfying about bashing a Tracer in the face with that shield.

Been playing Far Cry 5 and God of War lately. Also, entire game revolves around Bridgette now and its annoying/not fun to play ATM. Might jump on to do mystery heroes and get loot boxes,, but im not gonna do comp til its less of a dumpster fire.

Anniversary event dropping may 22nd. Pirate Junkrat skin is all that's been revealed so far.

Also looks like every skin from previous events will be available to unlock.

Pros and big OW youtubers are bitching about Brigette. Her days are numbered, we've seen this process before.

So irritating how they change characters based on people unable to counter them...yet. Given enough time, all these characters can be countered easily, but will likely require you to switch from your "main", which is apparently a big no-no for most people.

I am not in favor of any hero that counters about 90% of everyone else. She is broke. Ilthere is a reason she has like a 80%win ratio or whatever it is.

Yes, there are 2 hard counters and 1 semi counter but that does not offset everything about her.

Hanso also wasn't updated correctly. Should have put him in quick play before putting the new Hanso in comp (same could he said when they did the Mercy update).

Comp is 100% broken right now. But its whatever for me since I am not a pro player.

I mean, she literally only has the shield bash as her one counter-move. You could say the knock back (I forget the name) attack is another counter, but that seems more defensive as it only give slight breathing room.

I think the shield bash should stay, but shouldnt be able to stop all moves like Rein's charge.

Moira and Doomfist ate players alive which led to very hasty nerfs after their launch. The only hero that didn't make an early dent was Sombra.

Comp is not the end all, dude.

Comp is where players go to test their skill. Everything else is for fun and practice. Hence why they dont release new heroes into comp right after being introduced.

No it's where you go for SR. You can test your skill in privates, DM, TDM (my shit), 3v3 lock out. The only mode that's honestly a dumpster fire is quickplay. This is also how characters get evaluated well before they hit comp, otherwise nerfs would only happen after weeks in comp. You can get the vibe of a character in most modes and comp players had every chance to learn Bridgette's weaknesses before she got in comp.

And she's likely getting nerfed for the same reason as all the other kneejerk nerfs; braindead dps players are getting blown up.

Comp = competitive. Its literally in the name. It's where you compete with others to see who is better. Arcade is a place where you go to have fun.

Has it been confirmed that all previous event skins will be available? It was rumored, and mercy's witch costume was in the leak, but I don't recall seeing any info from blizzard.
