The Cowboys arent going to win any big time games because they are going to keep letting T.O. run their offense.

Hanso Amore 09-29-2008 09:36 PM

Countdown to T.O. meltdown in Dallas.....3 weeks.

ClockShot 09-29-2008 10:09 PM

NFL has passed judgement on Jets DB Eric Smith for his hit on Anquan Boldin.

Fined $50,000 and suspended 1 game.

Nah it won't happen, as long as they keep winning of course.

U-Warrior 09-30-2008 12:42 AM

Dallas' problem is that they don't know how to adapt when a defense stops their running game. They just immediately give up and go to the outside. When the D hits them hard on the running game, they don't hit back.

Shadow 09-30-2008 02:21 AM

That is a big problem and one you can expect teams to exploit from here on.

That's wrong. The nature of the hit was unintentional. If it weren't for the original hit from behind, it comes off clean. Smith had no way of seeing it develop like that.

he lead with his helmet, he went head down into the hit.

he's lucky it was only 1 game.

Old Man Davis tooks his meds this morning.

Lane Kiffin out as Raiders head coach.

going to be interesting, he fired him by phone and is refusing to pay his remaining contract.

I think Al still owed mike shanahan money that shanahan gave up on going after, somehow I don't think Kiffen will do the same.

Also, Rickey Williams says he was really tempted to smoke weed over the bye week but didn't.

Jeff Blake had already won like 7 games that year before breaking his ankle.. Brooks came in and won like 3 games during the second half of the season going into the playoffs..

FYI

Haslett is a good D. Coor but a bad head coach.. He does good drafting defensive players but most of his offensive picks were whack (cept for DEEEEEUUUUUCCCEEE).. I forgot he was the Lambs D. Coor and then remembered when Sammy kept talking about Fakir Brown and Jason Craft.. His biggest problem with us was, he invest way too much into Aarron Brooks (after he won like 3 regular season games and one playoff game).. They wanted to make him a superstar QB but then after he started having knee problems, they kept him, trying to make him a pocket passer (we had both Jake Delhomme and JT O'Sullivan riding the pine, around that time).. Not a good idea when his biggest skill was rolling out of the pocket, buying the WRs time..

I was actually sad when they got rid of him just because of the Katrina situation.. I mean, no team can go an ENTIRE regular season on the road and be successful.. I mean, we had a fucking "home" game against the Giants in '05 that was played in Giants stadium.. I'm super happy with Payton (due to the fact the he is 10x the head coack Hasslet was) but I did think Hasslet got a raw deal after the '05 season..

VonErichLives 09-30-2008 05:29 PM

I remember a story when he was hired he impressed the owner with his use of computers for game plans and tendency tracking and stuff...

so who knows, if he is a really good homework guy, maybe he's fixed his game plan calling...

Wishful thinking? LOL! Yeah, cause there no history of that.

ClockShot 09-30-2008 10:19 PM

Haslett's first order of business is to make Marc Bulger starter.

Bengals play the desperation card and sign Cedric Benson.

Crimson 09-30-2008 11:25 PM

It'll be funny if Palmer has a breakout game this year with like 3 td's and Benson rushes for over 100 on the Cowboys. If that would happen I'm almost certain I would kill someone. I dunno Cowboys have good db's but teams pass too easy on us. KILL CINCY

So Buffalo is going to lose to Dallas in the Super Bowl again then...

Just sayin'... history....

#1-norm-fan 10-01-2008 01:17 AM

And just for the record and to state my case...

"Despite the fact that T.O. has behaved relatively well as a Cowboy after two seasons of being knocked out in the first round of the playoffs, I have a feeling this is where it starts to get to him and we see the old TO come back." --- Astute observation which leads to a smart conversation.

"OMG T.O. IS GOING TO HAVE A MELTDOWN WITHIN THE NEXT THREE WEEKS. I'M CALLING IT! THE TEAM IS GOING TO FALL APART AND NEVER WIN ANYTHING EVER! LOLZ" --- Being a massive tool.

Am I exxaggerating to prove a point? Yes. But honestly, which one are you closer to?

U-Warrior 10-01-2008 01:25 AM

I dunno if he is going to have a meltdown, but he's been acting a bit ridiculous. The ball was sent his way 18 times in the redskins game, and still he complained to Romo.

Shadow 10-01-2008 01:59 AM

Honestly...TO is a good player but he hypes himself up waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more then he should. The more he hypes himself up, the more he comes off as a massive tool. And really....what team wants all that drama?

OssMan 10-01-2008 02:06 AM

Getcha Popcorn Ready

Crimson 10-01-2008 11:42 AM

T.O took what he said back already so calm all yourselves down..no meltdown is coming. As a Cowboys fan I always hated him before he came now we just gotta learn to put up with his ass and hope he don't fuck it all up like in Philly. He hasn't disappointed.

Team Sheep 10-01-2008 06:13 PM

The Cowboys losing on Sunday was the best thing that could have happened to them. They might actually take the time now to fix the problems they have unlike years past when they've cruised through most of the regular season then just totally crumbled in the playoffs. As we saw with New England, what you do in the regular season means shit if you don't win the Super Bowl.

That's the great thing about the NFL, it tests teams to be able to perform well and get results consistently over a period time, and tests how you cope in a knock out situation where it's one loss and you're out. This leads me to believe that Dallas can't handle pressure well at all.

yeah, thats what I said.

I predicted that he is going to have a meltdown, like he did in SF, and like he did in Philly. If you want to act like a little bitch and complain about it, fine.

I didnt know this was the TPWW astute observation forum.

There are people named Rectal pertruder and shit, so forgive me for being casual in the way I post.

You think that is an insult or something? i would be thrilled if the Bills make it to the super bowl and lose, that is still a good season.

Hanso Amore 10-01-2008 11:43 PM

now the question is, are you going to repeat history and post more nonsensical bullshit?

Not insulting you.

Im using you for example. He wants to make me out to be a spaz since In his view I didnt post up to his "thought Provoking standards".

I was making the point that this is a message board, with guys with names like yours, and threads about Tranny love....so his standards are retarded.

I in fact love you

CUTLER, BREES HEADLINE FIRST-TIME PLAYERS OF MONTH

Posted by Mike Florio on October 2, 2008, 1:06 p.m. EDT
We’ve already mentioned that Titans defensive end Albert Haynesworth has won the AFC’s defensive player of the month award for September 2008. Here are the other winners.
In the AFC, Broncos quarterback Jay Cutler is the offensive player of the month. He’s the first Bronco to win the prize since quarterback Brian Griese in September 2001.
Also, Chargers return specialist Darren Sproles is the AFC’s special teams player of the month. He gained 453 yards on 14 returns, including one touchdown.
For the NFC, Saints quarterback Drew Brees is the offensive player of the month. The last Saint so honored was running back Deuce McAllister in October 2002.
Charles Woodson of the Packers is the NFC’s defensive player of the month. He has three interceptions, including two that were returned for scores.
Eagles punter Sav Rocca is the special teams player of the month for the NFC. (And every time we think of Sav Rocca we think of this moment.)
For each man, it’s the first player of the month award of their career. So congratulations.

DrA 10-02-2008 02:55 PM

Congratulations on having a player on a team you like win NFC Offensive Player of the Month.

One step closer to MVP..

SammyG 10-02-2008 03:20 PM

I am pretty nervous about this bye week game. Dunno. I think we will be competitive at least, our D will step up.

Bye Week 7
Rams 3

Kris P Lettus 10-02-2008 04:16 PM

I would feel bad for you, if I didn't hate the Rams so much..

Associated Press Reporting

Saints starting defensive tackle Sedrick Ellis left practice on Thursday to have his right knee examined.

"He felt it kind of click on him, so we sent him in to have it looked at,'' Saints coach Sean Payton said following practice. "Hopefully, it's nothing serious."

If Ellis cannot play against Minnesota on Monday night, it would be a blow to a defense expecting to be tested by Vikings running back Adrian Peterson. Ellis was picked seventh overall in this year's NFL draft and has started New Orleans' first four games.

Why do you hate the Rams? Like, is there a certain player on that team that you hate, or what? I can't see the Rams as a franchise that anyone can really HATE, unless you're in the same division

Only if you continue your unwarranted jealousy leading to retarded posts...

I love how Dallas hasn't won a playoff game with this group of players, much less even approached a Super Bowl, yet there is just an aura of jealousy all over with people taking every opportunity to try to not just predict a breakdown, but make it official.

In three weeks if TO doesn't have his "meltdown" you'll probably do your best to change your psychic call into a matter of opinion despite the fact that it wasn't. Prove me wrong in three weeks and I will eat crow.

Well they USED to be in the same division. Plus during that span in the late 90's/early 00's, they probably gained some enemies in the same way Dallas did in the early 90's and New England now by just being so good, they made people angry.

That's just a general reason why people could hate the Rams.
