According to a person who spoke directly to Vince McMahon this past week, Wade Barrett vs. The Undertaker is currently penciled in as the main event for WrestleMania XXVII.

Barring a setback in recovery, it’s now considered a lock that The Undertaker will work WrestleMania since WWE announced him for AXXESS, which takes place the day before the pay-per-view event.

Discussion? Will the Corre cost Undertaker the streak and put over Barrett completely in the process as a master heel?

Will he? Probably not, should he? Fuck yeah. Barrett is absolutely the right guy to take down UT's streak and really they shouldn't have a match if Barrett is going to lose unless UT can go for a bit afterward and Barrett can win the feud, because UT is pretty much at retirement age and if he''s just gonna show up and beat Barrett at WM then take off again, then fuck that it won't do Barrett any favours and Barrett is one of the futures of WWE

Not sure I could handle knowing other IWC'ers in real life very well. I only know one other one but not very well he is a friend of a friend. At my friend's yearly WrestleMania costume party he went as David Flair.

SlickyTrickyDamon 01-27-2011 01:59 AM

Where you watch em? TheStro on jtv? or some other channel?

If Wade main events WM in his first year and looks strong against Taker then fuck whoever wins.

You make it sound like it would be Undertakers choice. Of course he'll have some say in it, but it's not his choice exclusively.

If he takes on Taker and loses at WM I'd hope he'd be able to get the win back later on. I just feel it's time Taker is used to make new stars.

Sorry for interrupting the flow of conversation here but i gotta ask. Does anyone else think a John Cena RR match win is gonna happen?

IMO i think it will tbh, i saw an advert on SkySports over here in England with part of it showing John Cena celebrating has Rumble match win from '08. It has a voice over saying "this year, one man will make history."

I feel that getting a second RR match win isn't making history since SCSA has won three, but winning the first ever 40 man RR match will be classed as makig history.

What do guys think?

(I posted this in here because i didn't feel that it was thread worthy.)

Yeah. Also, I will still catch myself occasionally humming his theme song, but then I realize it and I'm like "Dammit!"

Xero 01-27-2011 06:25 PM

I hum Mideon's/the B-Team Ministry theme all the time.

I wondered for a few days what ever happened to Tyler Rekks since he barely shows up on Smackdown.

Did some channel surfing to find something to watch and saw that WWE Superstars was giving. Right after I changed to the channel, he appeared with his little graphic and announcer saying his name on tv.

I see that the crowd still gives him no reaction but not at the Uso's style of reaction yet.

Big Show might need a name change.. Any Ideas?

By Ryan Clark on Thursday, January 27th, 2011 at 10:44 PM EST
– Radio Personalities John Boy and Billy, from The John Boy & Billy Big Show, are in the process of filing opposition to WWE’s registration to trademark “Big Show”. Their show has been airing on the radio in syndication since the early 90′s.

Should he go back to The Giant?

Discuss.

Lara Emily 01-28-2011 12:01 AM

The Ginormous Spectacle

Imagine the theme song: " Wellllllllllllllllll it's the Ginormous Spectacle, YEAH, it's the Ginormous Spectacle tonight, yah"

legendkillerRKO 01-28-2011 12:15 AM

The Bigg Sho

JimmyMess 01-28-2011 12:15 AM

First off, I don't think they will get their way over the WWE. If they do, it will work out so that WWE still gets to use the Big Show as well.

In the event that WWE decides to change his name, I assume they'll just call him by his name or just "Show"

Lock Jaw 01-28-2011 12:17 AM

That's a waste of an opposition filing, if I ever did see one.

XCaliber 01-28-2011 12:17 AM

I'd laugh if they reverted his name back to Paul Wight lol what an intimidating name that is.

Lock Jaw 01-28-2011 12:18 AM

Get the Show Out.

The Big.

Jordan 01-28-2011 12:19 AM

"The Giant" Paul Wight would be a very easy transition. And it could be a big refresh for him.

TheAdamEvansFan 01-28-2011 12:25 AM

They should do it right before Wrestlemania for the WCW themed show!!!

He could dawn his old colors and wear a wig!!!

lmao

Powerbomb. Compliments of Captain Insano

SlickyTrickyDamon 01-28-2011 12:59 AM

his name is CHOKESLAM (must always be in caps)

That lawsuit is dumb. If they were going to file they should have done it when the name was first used. Statue of limitations must be up for that sort of thing and they aren't even in the same field. Sports Radio WEEI in Boston has called their daily show "The Big Show w/ the Big O" for years.

The Fugitive 01-28-2011 01:13 AM

Let's go to the NXT Name Generator!

*doo doo doo doo doo...*

Henry Vanderhuge!

TheAdamEvansFan 01-28-2011 01:14 AM

There isn't a statue of limitations.

I'm a criminal justice major, and that's basically why WWF had to change their name.

Both companies had been around for a good spell, but The World Wildlife Fund was out for good will, while WWE was out for profit.

I'm guessing that the radio personality doesn't stay tuned into wrestling but was recently mistaken as a 500 lb guerrilla and felt insulted.

SlickyTrickyDamon 01-28-2011 01:20 AM

Both WWF groups had an agreement beforehand though that Vince violated. It's not exactly the same thing.

TheAdamEvansFan 01-28-2011 01:21 AM

True and both are multi million dollar organizations.

Rammsteinmad 01-28-2011 01:45 AM

Maybe he should do a Warrior and legally change his name to Big Show.
